In Uttar Pradesh, a total of five bodies have been recovered from the mining accident in Sonbhadra district. First body was recovered in the night of the accident on Saturday itself while four bodies have been recovered today. The rescue operation continues unabated and government officials said that it may take around 24 to 36 hours to complete the operation and clear the debris. All roads leading to the stone quarry have been closed. State Minister Ravindra Jaiswal visited the accident site in Sonbhadra today and reviewed the situation. Disaster Management Secretary Yogendra Dimri stated that relief and rescue teams are working very carefully and in a controlled manner.
