Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today announced that India is likely to receive its first Bullet Train on 15th August 2027. Briefing media in New Delhi today, the Minister said India’s first bullet train project is under construction between Ahmedabad and Mumbai. He added that the first section to open will be from Surat to Bilimora followed by the section from Vapi to Surat.
