Director General, Federation of Indian Export Organisations, Dr Ajay Sahai has said that the four Labour Codes announced by the Central government are a huge step towards formalization of employment through social inclusion of workers and increasing participation of women in workforce. He said, this will lead to an inclusive society as well. He added that number of steps have been taken under the Labour Codes to provide safety and security to women in night shifts at workplace. FIEO Director General said that in times to come, the country will see much more growth in production as these Labour Codes will address labour issues to a large extent. Dr Sahai expressed confidence that this step will encourage industries for further investment and expansion of business opportunities.
