The government has debunked a social media video circulating on social media falsely claiming that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is promoting an investment program that promises easy daily income. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau, has informed that the claim is completely fake and the video is digitally altered.

 

 

It further stated that the Finance Minister or the Government has not launched or endorsed any such scheme. The Unit urged people to be aware of such claims by checking if the date, background, or logo seems mismatched and also to search for the claim on trusted sources before sharing.
