The Indian Air Force is hosting its largest ever multilateral air combat exercise Ex Tarang Shakti at Sulur airbase of Indian Air Force in Tamil Nadu. It is aimed at showcasing its military capabilities and strengthening international cooperation. This strategically significant exercise drawn participation from around 11 countries featuring a diverse array of aircrafts including Rafales, F-18, and Eurofighter. Ex Tarang Shakti exercise is designed to enhance India’s defence ties with the participating nations while demonstrating its Indigenous defence capabilities.
The first phase of this exercise started on 6th of this month and scheduled to conclude tomorrow. The second leg of the exercise will take place from 29th August to 14th September at Air Force Station Jodhpur.
International Defence Aviation Exposition 2024 – IDAX 2024 is also being organised at Air Force Station at Sulur in Tamil Nadu. Several renowned Indian and Foreign companies are participating in the exposition displaying variety of equipment and defence system. Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, DRDO Chief Samir V Kamat and several other dignitaries visited the International Defence Aviation Exposition 2024. On this occasion, DRDO Chairman Samir V Kamat said, DRDO is fully prepared to meet the requirements of armed forces.
