External Affairs Minister, Dr S Jaishankar, addressed the Ambassadors’ Conference of France in Paris. In a social media post, Dr Jaishankar said that on the occasion, he underlined contemporary global shifts driven by trade, finance, technology, energy, resources and connectivity. 

 

 

The Minister noted that for these, changes in mindset have been the crucial factor. He also highlighted the significance of the India-France partnership in promoting multi-polarity and strategic autonomy. 

 

 

In another social media post, the External Affairs Minister informed that he called on the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, and conveyed to him the greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

 

Dr Jaishankar appreciated President Macron’s perspectives on contemporary global developments and positive sentiments for the strategic partnership of both nations.
