Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta extended her greetings to journalists on the occasion of National Press Day today. In a social media post, Mrs Gupta emphasised that independent, fearless, and fact-based journalism forms the foundation of a strong democracy.

 

 

She noted that the media’s role in bringing forth the true voice of society, reflecting public sentiments, and holding governance and administration accountable has been both significant and inspiring. Delhi CM further highlighted that journalism plays a vital role in awakening, empowering, and uniting the public consciousness.
