Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today expressed profound grief over the demise of Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister, Ajit Pawar. In a social media post, Mr Singh said that throughout his long public life, Ajit Pawar remained committed to the development and prosperity of Maharashtra. He added that the Deputy Chief Minister was known for his compassion for the people and his unwavering dedication to public service. The Defence Minister also extended condolences to Ajit Pawar’s family, well-wishers, and admirers.
