DDA organises annual Palaash Flower Festival 2026 in Delhi

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has organised an annual Palaash flower Festival 2026 across multiple locations in the national capital. The festival is drawing large crowds to witness vibrant floral displays and themed gardens.

For the first time, the three-day flower festival is being held simultaneously at four venues- Bansera Park, Ashok Vihar, Jasola, and Narela. Specially curated floral installations and creatively designed gardens, developed with a focus on nature, biodiversity and environmental conservation, are captivating visitors across the city. Talking exclusively to Akashvani News, Vice Chairman of DDA, N. Saravana Kumar, said that the festival has been a major success, attracting large crowds at all four locations. He said the decision to host the event simultaneously was aimed at ensuring wider public participation and outreach. He added that the festival strengthens people’s connection with nature.

Talking to Akashvani News, Santosh Kumar, an Administrative Officer at the Central Road Research Institute, shared his experience of visiting the Palash Mahotsav flower festival.

The flower festival was inaugurated by Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on Saturday. Organised annually since 2023, the Palash Mahotsav aims to connect people with Delhi’s green heritage, promote environmental conservation and foster community participation.
