In the Darjeeling District of West Bengal, the work of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll has almost been completed. As per the District Magistrate cum District Election Office Manish Mishra office, Enumeration Forms distribution, collection and digitisation on maximum booths have been completed, and EROs felicitated BLOs for completing the work before the deadline. As per Magistrate office data, out of 12 lakh 92 thousand 857 registered voters, more than 11 lacs 46 voters have submitted filled Enumeration Form (EF) and uploaded by BLOs. One lac forty-six thousand forms have not yet been submitted. Though the last date of submission has been extended until the 11th of this month. 

 

 

One BLO, Yogesh Tamang from Kurseong, has said that BLOs have distributed the EF, door to door, collected, and uploaded it on the portal.
