Congress has approached the Election Commission over an advertisement shared by BJP’s Jharkhand unit on its social media handle. In a letter to the Commission, Party’s General Secretary Jairam Ramesh alleged that the advertisement is misleading. He said, it violates the model code of conduct. Mr Ramesh alleged that BJP has shown the opposition leader in the poor light. He demanded the poll body to take down the advertisement and take action against the BJP.
