As part of the nationwide PM SVANidhi programme, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu today launched the PM SVANidhi Credit Card and distributed 206 crore rupees in loans to street vendors at the Secretariat in Amaravati. The program was conducted simultaneously across all Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) across the country.
During the programme, loans were distributed to beneficiaries. Cheques were handed over. Credit cards were issued to eligible street vendors. Specially-abled vendors were also honoured. The PM SVANidhi initiative continues to strengthen livelihoods. It promotes financial inclusion. It empowers street vendors. Municipal Administration & Urban Development Principal Secretary S. Suresh Kumar, MEPMA Mission Director Vakati Karuna, along with public representatives, attended the event.
