Central Ministries Resolve Over 1.44 Lakh Grievances in October: CPGRAMS Report

The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) has released the 42nd Monthly Report on Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) of Central Ministries and Departments’ performance for the month of October.
 
 
More than one lakh 44 thousand grievances were redressed by central ministries and departments in October this year, with an average grievance disposal time of 15 days.
 
 
 
The report states that the Department of Land Resources, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, and Ministry of AYUSH topped the Group ‘A’ category in the rankings, while the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Department of Official Language and Ministry of Power topped the Group ‘B’ category.
 
 
Around 52 thousand new users were registered last month, with maximum registrations from Uttar Pradesh. The report provides a detailed analysis of types and categories of public grievances and the nature of disposal.
 
 
The department also released the 39th report of CPGRAMS for states and union territories for the month of October. The department added that more than 64 thousand cases were received, and over 63 thousand grievances were redressed by the states and UTs last month.
