The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered an FIR against a former Director General of Police (DGP), Punjab, Mohammed Mustafa and his wife, a former PWD Minister, Punjab, Razia Sultana, in connection with the alleged murder of their son Aqil Akhtar. He had died under suspicious circumstances on October 16 at their home in Panchkula.

 

 

FIR has also been registered against the deceased’s wife and sister as well. Earlier, the Haryana govt. had transferred the investigation of the case to the CBI. According to the CBI, there was simmering discontent between the deceased and his family as he had publicly posted a video on social media regarding the same.
