Today we will talk about cVIGIL APP cVIGIL is a mobile application developed by the Election Commission of India (ECI) to enable citizens to report violations of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during elections. The app is available for download on Android and iOS devices. To report a violation, users simply need to open the app, select the type of violation, and provide details of the incident, including location, time, and photographs or videos. The app also allows users to track the progress of their complaints.
भारत निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा शुरू किए गए नए सीविजिल ऐप से इन सभी कमियों को दूर होने और फास्ट-ट्रैक कम्प्लेन रिसेप्शन और निवारण प्रणाली बनने की उम्मीद है। सीविजिल नागरिकों के लिए निर्वाचन के दौरान आदर्श आचार संहिता और व्यय संबंधी उल्लंघनों की रिपोर्ट करने के लिए एक नवोन्मेषी मोबाइल ऐप्लिकेशन है। ‘सीविजिल’ का अर्थ जागरूक नागरिक है और यह स्वतंत्र और निष्पक्ष निर्वाचनों के संचालन में नागरिकों द्वारा निभाई जा सकने वाली सक्रिय और जिम्मेदार भूमिका पर जोर देती है।
The Election Commission is keeping a close eye on the election process through the cVigil app. It is a single app for recording, reporting and resolving violations of model code of conduct. Through this app, online complaints regarding violations of model code of conduct can be made by capturing photos, videos etc.
“The cVIGIL app of Election Commission has become an effective tool in the hands of people to flag election code violations. The citizens can report Model Code of Conduct and expenditure violations through this app. The Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv kumar said that the cVigil empowers citizens to report model code of conduct violations and assured action within 100 minutes.
cVIGIL is user-friendly and easy to operate application, which connects vigilant citizens with District Control Room, Returning Officer and Flying Squads Teams. By using this app, the citizens can immediately report on incidents of political misconduct within minutes and without having to rush to the office of the returning officer. As soon as the complaint is sent on the cVigil app, the complainant will receive a unique ID through which the persons will be able to track the complaint on their mobile. The cVIGIL app has been praised for its simplicity, ease of use, authenticity, and user secrecy. It has also been credited with helping to increase the number of MCC violations reported during elections.

शिकायत दर्ज करने से पहले आदर्श आचार संहिता का उल्लंघन करने वाली गतिविधि की केवल एक तस्वीर या 2 मिनट का वीडियो बनाएं और संक्षिप्त में इसका वर्णन कर दें। शिकायत के साथ कैप्चर की गई जीआईएस जानकारी स्वतः इसे संबंधित जिला नियंत्रण कक्ष को भेज दी जाती है, जिससे फ्लाइंग स्क्वॉड को कुछ ही मिनटों में घटनास्थल पर भेज दिया जाता है। सीविजिल ऑपरेटिंग मॉडल निम्नानुसार कार्य करेगा:

“Akumen AI is a Manipur based small Start Up which was selected as one of the six Start Ups to interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Start Up Mahakumbh event in New Delhi held in this month. This Start Up has developed an artificial intelligence based wearable assistive device for visually impaired people. The device utilizes advanced AI to capture and and interpret text, faces and objects aiding the blind in understanding their surroundings. Akumen AI has already won the NITI Aayog’s Atal New India Challenge and the Entrepreneurship World Cup Eastern Region. Now this Start Up is working on making robotic arms for amputated persons. The Union Territory of J&K is divided into two geographic regions viz. Kashmir Valley and Jammu. The UT has a total of 5 Parliamentary Constituencies. Out of which, 2 are located in Jammu division and 3 fall in Kashmir division. The Jammu division has Jammu Parliamentary Constituency and Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency which covers a total of 8 districts of the Union Territory out of the 20 districts. The Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency is the most developed Constituency in India and it has seen tremendous development in the last nine years. This constituency covers 20,230 square kilometers of mountainous Himalayan terrain. The Constituency covers 5 districts of the Jammu division including: Kathua, Udhampur, Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban.
“The population of the Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency is over 24 lacs and there are a total 16, 74, 277 electors in the Constituency. Of these, 8, 26, 218 are males and 8, 48, 059 females. The Constituency has 18 Assembly segments and 2637 Polling stations. It is the only Constituency in India having three medical Colleges with the best infrastructure and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is also located in this constituency making it the best Constituency in India with the state-of-the-art health care facilities. This Constituency has earned its name in the county and in the world as the birthplace of ‘Purple Revolution’ which has given birth to Agri-Tech Start-Ups not only in J&K but across India. In Telangana, political parties have commenced campaigning even before the announcement of Lok Sabha election schedule. Polling will be held in the fourth phase on a single day in all 17 seats in the state. More from our correspondent:
“The women electors along with a considerable number of young and first time voters will determine the fate of candidates in the Lok Sabha election this time in Telangana. Telangana is one among the few states where women voters outnumber their male counterparts. Over 1 crore 65 lakh women electors are among the total 3 crore 30 lakh electors in the state. However, male electors out-number their women counterparts among the new and first time voters as 4 lakh 82 thousand male in the age group of 18-19 years registered as voters while only 3 lakh 84 thousand girls registered their names as electors. A total 19 thousand 356 polling station locations have been set up in all 17 Constituencies that are going to polls in the fourth phase on May 13th. These Constituencies include 3 reserved for SCs and 2 reserved for the STs. If you look at the constituencies, Malkajgiri Constituency with over 31 lakh electors is the largest constituency by the sie of electorate and with 14 lakh 23 thousand, Mahabubnagar is the smallest one. All major political parties have started their campaigning even before announcement election schedule while BRS, BJP and Congress are fielding their best foot forward as all three parties consider this election very crucial for their political future. आनंद शंकर
गीतकार और संगीतकार आनंद शंकर का आज के दिन 1999 में निधन हुआ था। वे भारतीय गीतकार और संगीतकार थे। आनंद शंकर विश्व प्रसिद्ध सितारवादक पंडित रवि शंकर के भतीजे थे। इन्होंने अपने जीवनकाल में पूर्वी संगीत शैलियों में पश्चिमी संगीत शैली का उत्कृष्ट मिश्रण कर संगीत को एक नया रूप दिया। सन 1990 के दशक के मध्य जब डीजे की संस्कृति का प्रचलन शुरू हुआ तो आनंद शंकर ने भी डिस्को के अनुरूप संगीत का निर्माण किया। जिसके बाद इन्होंने वर्ष 1996 में ‘ब्लू नोट्स’ के अंतर्गत ‘ब्लू जूस वॉल्यूम 1’ नामक नए एल्बम का निर्माण किया था। इसके दो संस्करण लांच हुए थे- स्ट्रीट्स ऑफ कलकत्ता और डांसिंग ड्रम्स। गीत-संगीत के प्रति समर्पण को देखते हुए आनंद शंकर को सर्वश्रेष्ठ म्यूज़िक डायरेक्शन के लिए ‘राष्ट्रीय फ़िल्म पुरस्कार’ से सम्मानित किया गया था।

कटिंगेरी कृष्णा हेब्बार
मूर्तिकार कटिंगेरी कृष्णा हेब्बार की भी आज पुण्यतिथि है। उन्हें उनकी अद्वितीय कलाकृतियों के लिये जाना जाता है। के. के. हेब्बार अधिकतर भारत विषयक कलाकृति ही बनाया करते थे। एक कलात्मक पारिवारिक पृष्ठभूमि से होने के नाते के. के. हेब्बार ने कला की पढ़ाई की और सन 1940-1945 के बीच जे. जे. स्कूल ऑफ़ आर्ट, मुम्बई में औपचारिक अध्ययन किया। बाद में उन्होंने पेरिस में अकादेमी जूलियन में भी कला का अध्ययन किया। के. के. हेब्बार ने आरंभ में लगातार मालाबार और तुलु नाडू के सतत क्षेत्रों का चित्रण किया। बाद में उन्होंने अन्य विषयों के साथ प्रयोग करना शुरू किया। उनकी कला पॉल गौगुइन और अमृता शेरगिल से प्रेरित थी। आर्ट नाऊ इन इंडिया में उन्होंने पहली बार अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर दर्शकों का दिल जीता। उनकी कलाकृतियों को आज भारतीय कला इतिहास में अत्यधिक प्रभावशाली माना जाता है। के. के. हेब्बार ने विभिन्न अंतरराष्ट्रीय कला प्रदर्शनियों में भी भाग लिया। कला के क्षेत्र में उनके अमूल्य योगदान के लिए हेब्बार को 1961 में पद्मश्री और 1989 में पद्मभूषण पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया। इसके अलावा उन्हें ललित कला अकादमी पुरस्कार के साथ अन्य पुरस्कार भी मिले।
महादेवी वर्मा
‘आधुनिक युग की मीरा’ कही जाने वाली महादेवी वर्मा का जन्म उत्तर प्रदेश के फ़र्रुख़ाबाद में 26 मार्च 1907 में हुआ था। उनकी बचपन से ही चित्रकला, संगीतकला और काव्यकला में थी। महादेवी विद्यार्थी जीवन से ही कविताएं लिखने लगीं। वह इलाहाबाद से प्रकाशित ‘चाँद’ मासिक पत्रिका की संपादिका थीं और प्रयाग में ‘साहित्यकार संसद’ नामक संस्था की स्थापना की थी। महादेवी वर्मा छायावाद की चौथी स्तंभ भी कही जाती हैं। प्रणय एवं वेदनानुभूति, जड़ चेतन का एकात्म्य भाव, सौंदर्यानुभूति, मूल्य चेतना, रहस्यात्मकता उनकी मुख्य काव्य-वस्तु है। वह मुख्य रूप से गीति कवयित्री हैं जिनके काव्य में परंपरा और मौलिकता का अद्वितीय समन्वय नज़र आता है। उन्होंने अपने काव्य में प्रतीकात्मक संकेत-भाषा का प्रयोग किया है जिसमें छायावादी प्रतीकों के साथ ही मौलिक प्रतीकों का भी कुशल प्रयोग हुआ है। उनके बारे में कहा गया है कि छायावाद ने उन्हें जन्म दिया था और उन्होंने छायावाद को जीवन दिया। उन्होंने कविताओं के साथ ही रेखाचित्र, संस्मरण, निबंध, डायरी आदि गद्य विधाओं में भी योगदान किया है। ‘नीहार’, ‘रश्मि’, ‘नीरजा’, ‘सांध्य गीत’, ‘यामा’, ‘दीपशिखा’, ‘साधिनी’, ‘प्रथम आयाम’, ‘सप्तपर्णा’, ‘अग्निरेखा’ उनके काव्य-संग्रह हैं। रेखाचित्रों का संकलन ‘अतीत के चलचित्र’ और ‘स्मृति की रेखाएँ’ में किया गया है। ‘शृंखला की कड़ियाँ’, ‘विवेचनात्मक गद्य’, ‘साहित्यकार की आस्था तथा अन्य निबंध’, ‘संकल्पिता’, ‘हिमालय’, ‘क्षणदा’ उनके निबंधों का संकलन है।

सबकी अर्चित कथा इसी लौ में पलने दो!
पल के मनके फेर पुजारी विश्व सो गया,
प्रतिध्वनि का इतिहास प्रस्तरों बीच खो गया,
सांसों की समाधि सा जीवन,
मसि-सागर का पंथ गया बन
रुका मुखर कण-कण स्पंदन,
इस ज्वाला में प्राण-रूप फिर से ढलने दो!
वह साहित्य अकादेमी की सदस्यता प्राप्त करने वाली पहली लेखिका थीं। भारत सरकार ने उन्हें पद्म भूषण और पद्म विभूषण पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित किया। उन्हें यामा के लिए ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया। भारत सरकार ने उनके सम्मान में डाक टिकट भी जारी किया था।

बंगाली सिनेमा के प्रसिद्ध अभिनेता और फ़िल्म निर्देशक धीरेन्द्र नाथ गांगुली का भी आज जन्मदिन है। धीरेन्द्र नाथ गांगुली को ‘धिरेन गांगुली’ या डी.जी. के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। भारतीय सिनेमा में इनके अभूतपूर्व योगदान के लिए धीरेन्द्र नाथ गांगुली को सन् 1975 में दादा साहब फाल्के पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया था। इससे पहले उन्हें 1974 में पद्म भूषण पुरस्कार मिला। हम आपको बताएं कि धिरेन गांगुली का जन्म 26 मार्च 1893 को कलकत्ता में हुआ था। इन्होंने अपनी शिक्षा ‘विश्व भारती विश्वविद्यालय’, शांतिनिकेतन से ग्रहण की और बाद में हैदराबाद के राज्य आर्ट स्कूल में हेडमास्टर बने। कलकत्ता में धिरेन गांगुली ने अपने कुछ मित्रों के साथ मिलकर इण्डो-ब्रिटिश फ़िल्म कम्पनी की स्थापना की। निर्देशक और अभिनेता के रूप में उनकी मुख्य फिल्मों में ‘शेष निवेदन’, ‘हल बांग्ला’, ‘एक्सक्यूज मी, सर’, ‘बिलायत फिरत’ , ‘विद्रोही’ शामिल हैं।
Madhoo Shah[1] (born Padma Malini; 26 March 1969[2]), also known formerly as Madhubala, is an Indian actress known for her works predominantly in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada language films.[3][4][5] She was a part of Movies like Phool Aur Kaante (1991), Roja (1992), Allari Priyudu (1992), Yodha (1992), and Gentleman (1993).[6][7]
Madhoo is a Tamil.[3] Her birth name was Padma Malini but her father changed her name to Madhu Malini when she entered school. She was educated at St. Joseph’s High School, Juhu and at University of Mumbai.[8][9] She is the niece of actress Hema Malini and therefore the cousin of Esha Deol.
Besides it, she has worked in television series such as Kaveri, Devi, Soundaravalli and Aarambh: Kahaani Devsena Ki. She has also appeared as a guest judge at some reality shows.
