हर साल 4 अक्टूबर को मनाया जाने वाला विश्व पशु कल्याण दिवस इन संवेदनशील प्राणियों के प्रति हमारी जिम्मेदारी की याद दिलाता है। यह दिन पशु कल्याण के आह्वान के रूप में मनाया जाता है। इसके साथ ही इस दिन जानवरों द्वारा योगदान की जाने वाली जैव विविधता की समृद्ध टेपेस्ट्री का भी जश्न मनाया जाता है। दुनिया भर में बढ़ती जागरूकता के बावजूद, मानव कारणों की वजह से जानवरों को कई चुनौतियों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। इनमें मुख्य रूप से वनों की कटाई, जलवायु परिवर्तन और मानव अतिक्रमण के कारण उनके अस्तित्व के लिए गंभीर खतरा पैदा करती है। अवैध शिकार और अवैध वन्यजीव व्यापार के कारण आज कई प्रजातियां खतरे में हैं। आज कई पशु प्रजातियां विलुप्त होने के कगार पर पहुंच गई हैं।

This day provide us an opportunity to serve animals and be a part of something special. भारतीय पशु कल्याण बोर्ड क्या है?
भारतीय पशु कल्याण बोर्ड भारत सरकार का एक वैधानिक और सलाहकार निकाय है। इसका उद्देश्य पशु कल्याण कानूनों पर सलाह देना और भारत देश में पशु कल्याण को बढ़ावा देना है। भारतीय पशु कल्याण बोर्ड की स्थापना 1962 (बासठ) में पशु क्रूरता निवारण अधिनियम 1960, की धारा 4 के तहत की गई थी। बोर्ड में 28 सदस्य होते हैं, जो 3 वर्षों की अवधि के लिए कार्य करते हैं। भारतीय पशु कल्याण बोर्ड यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए काम करता है कि देश में पशु कल्याण कानूनों का पालन किया जाए और पशु कल्याण संगठनों को अनुदान भी प्रदान किया जाता है।
Talking about the history of World Animal Day;
The first World Animal Day was organized exactly 100 years ago in Germany by dog-lover Heinrich Zimmerman. Since then, the holiday has spread throughout the world as a cause to raise awareness of animal welfare concerns.
This year the theme is “Save Animals, Save the Planet!” The theme serves as a reminder that animal welfare is not just a moral concern but also a key component of ecological balance and human well-being.
पशु कल्याण सिर्फ एक नैतिक दायित्व नहीं है, बल्कि यह हमारे ग्रह के भविष्य से गहराई से जुड़ा हुआ है। जैव विविधता, यानी जीवन की अलग-अलग किस्में और बदलाव, प्रकृति के संतुलन को बनाए रखने में बहुत जरूरी भूमिका निभाती है। पशु, जो प्रकृति के हिस्से के रूप में काम करते हैं, इस विविधता को बढ़ाते हैं। वे परागण, बीज फैलाव, कीट नियंत्रण, और यहां तक कि मिट्टी में पोषक तत्वों के चक्र को चलाने में भी सहायता करते हैं।

क्षेत्रीय विशेष –
मध्यप्रदेश सरकार ने प्रदेश के सोयाबीन उत्पादक किसानों के लिए भावांतर योजना लागू की है। इस योजना के तहत किसानों को उनकी फसल के वास्तविक बिक्री मूल्य और न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य के अंतर की भरपाई सरकार द्वारा की जाएगी।
“मध्यप्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव ने 25 सितम्बर को सागर जिले से किसानों के हित में यह भावान्तर योजना लागू करने की घोषणा की थी । यह योजना सोयाबीन उत्पादक किसानों को वाजिब मूल्य और न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य से कम बिकने पर अंतर की भरपाई सुनिश्चित करने के लिए बनाई गई है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार किसानों के कल्याण को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता देती है और किसी भी हालत में किसानों का घाटा नहीं होने दिया जाएगा। किसानों को पहले की तरह मंडियों में सोयाबीन बेचने की अनुमति होगी। यदि मंडी में फसल का औसत विक्रय मूल्य न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य से कम है, तो सरकार उसके अन्तर की राशि सीधे किसानों के बैंक खाते में जमा करेगी। अगर फसल का मूल्य राज्य सरकार के घोषित औसत मॉडल भाव से भी कम हो, तो अंतर की राशि की भरपाई उसी अनुसार की जाएगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि योजना में पंजीकरण कराना अनिवार्य है , जो आज 03 तारिख से शुरू होकर 17 अक्टूबर तक किया जायेगा!परिक्रमा के लिए आकाशवाणी भोपाल से मैं विपिन मिश्रा!

The dwellers of tribal hit Sunabeda forest of Nuapada district are all eager to witness the ‘Chhatar Yatra’ of Maa Sunadei, the local goddess of the area. Chhatar yatra of Maa Sunadei is the most sacred and high profile affairs for the chakotia Bhunjia tribe of Sunabeda. It is believed that the Goddess showers blessings on the devotees who witness her Chhatra Yatra on the Kumarpurnima Utsav or the full moon day of the month of Aswina.
Goddess Sunadei is the presiding deity of nearly 52 villages and hamlets of Sunabeda area. Maa Sunadei’s annual festival is celebrated for 15 days in the month of Aswin. Chhatar Yatra is the concluding ritual of the festival. On this auspicious day sacred chhatar of maa Sunadei visits the area and gives blessings to the devotees. Thousands of people from Kalahandi, Bargarh, Nabarangpur and Balangir district and neighbouring state Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh come here to offer prayers and get the blessings of maa Sunadei. According to Hindu mythology, in the Dwapar Yug, Pandavas lived in this dense forest for a long time in their exile period. Once, Panduputra Bhima found maa sunadei in the form of linga in the Guda hills of Sunabeda sanctuary while farming. Maa Sunadei was first worshipped by Bhima. After Bhima returned from his exile, the Kokasha (Duma) of the area worshipped her. Now the people of the Chakotia Bhunjia community, a primitive tribe of the Guda Hills, have been worshipping her since ancient times. It is believed that with the blessings of maa Sunadei human and the wild animals live together in this dense forest without harming each other. देश में प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना के तहत अब तक करीब साढ़े तीन करोड़ आवास बनाए जा चुके हैं। लेकिन, छत्तीसगढ़ के बीजापुर जिले के एक गांव में बना आवास सबसे अनूठा है और इस योजना की प्रभावशीलता की मिसाल भी है।
छत्तीसगढ़ के माओवाद प्रभावित बीजापुर जिले की उसूर जनपद पंचायत की ग्राम पंचायत तर्रेम का आश्रित गांव है, चुटवाही। इस गांव की रहने वाली पचास वर्षीय महिला हुंगी को प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना के तहत पक्का मकान मिल गया है। यह इस गांव में प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना के तहत बनने वाला न सिर्फ पहला मकान है, बल्कि इस गांव का भी यह पहला पक्का मकान है। इस गांव के लोग पिछले कई सालों से माओवादियों के भय और आतंक के साये में जी रहे थे। कुछ समय पहले यहां सुरक्षा बलों ने अपना शिविर स्थापित किया। राज्य सरकार ने इस गांव को नियद निल्लानार योजना के तहत शामिल किया। इस योजना का उद्देश्य लोगों तक बुनियादी सुविधाएं पहुंचाना है। इस गांव में रहने वाले ग्रामीण माओवादियों के डर से पहले शासकीय योजनाओं का लाभ लेने से हिचकिचाते थे। लेकिन, श्रीमती हुंगी आगे आईं और उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना के तहत आवेदन किया। साथ ही सरकार की एक योजना के तहत उन्होंने राजमिस्त्री का प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर अपने घर का निर्माण भी खुद ही किया। श्रीमती हुंगी का पक्का मकान अब न सिर्फ उनके गांव बल्कि आसपास के इलाके में भी प्रेरणा का स्रोत बन गया है। यह मकान यह साबित करता है कि प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना देश के दुर्गम इलाकों में रहने वाले गरीब लोगों के लिए भी वरदान साबित हो रही है। परिक्रमा के लिए आकाशवाणी रायपुर से मैं विकल्प शुक्ला।

GST Bachat Utsav which was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and commenced on 22nd of last month, is benefiting all sections of society. Today our correspondent brings a report on the tax cut on commercial goods vehicles.
“In a major relief for the logistics and transport sector, the government has reduced the tax rate on commercial goods vehicles including trucks and delivery vans. The GST rate has been brought down from 28 percent to 18 percent, aiming to ease the operational costs for small and medium transport operators and boost the movement of goods across the country. This reduction will revive India’s transport and logistics sector. Additionally, reducing GST slashes upfront capital cost of trucks and lowering freight rates per tonne-kilometer. The move will further revitalize the country’s supply chain, improve export competitiveness. This rationalization under the next generation GST reforms will mark a significant step leading to cheaper movement of agri goods, cement, steel, FMCG, and e-commerce deliveries. Death anniversaries
We are remembering today Sepoy and Honorary Captain Baba Harbhajan Singh, an Indian Army soldier who served from 30th June 1965 to 4th October 1968. He is said to serve the Indian Army even after his death by coming in dreams of soldiers and telling them the plans of their enemies. There is a temple dedicated to him in East Sikkim.
Harbhajan Singh was born into a Sikh family on 30th August 1946 in the village of Sadrana. He completed his preliminary education at a village school, and then matriculated from DAV High School in Patti, Punjab, in March 1965. He enlisted as a soldier in Amritsar and joined the Punjab Regiment.
Baba Harbhajan Singh died in 1968 near the Nathu La (pass) in eastern Sikkim, India. A board besides his shrine describes that he died after falling into a nullah while escorting a mule column from Tuku La to Dongchui La.

आज, 4 अक्टूबर को, भारत की एक प्रमुख प्रशासिका सरला ग्रेवाल की जन्म जयंती है। सरला जी ने हंस राज महिला महाविद्यालय से स्नातक किया और 1952 (बावन) में भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (आईएएस) में शामिल होकर देश की दूसरी महिला आईएएस अधिकारी बनीं। 1956 में वे शिमला की पहली उपायुक्त बनीं, जो पूरे देश में इस पद पर नियुक्त होने वाली पहली महिला थीं। लंदन स्कूल ऑफ इकोनॉमिक्स (एलएसई) से ब्रिटिश काउंसिल छात्रवृत्ति प्राप्त कर उन्होंने विकासशील देशों में सामाजिक सेवाओं, विशेष रूप से स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा और कल्याण योजनाओं पर विशेषज्ञता हासिल की।
उनके करियर की प्रमुख उपलब्धियां उल्लेखनीय हैं: 1963 (तिरेसठ) में पंजाब की स्वास्थ्य सचिव के रूप में सेवा दी, जहां उनके नेतृत्व में राज्य को राष्ट्रीय परिवार कल्याण के लिए चार पुरस्कार मिले; 1985 (पच्चासी) में राजीव गांधी की प्रधान सचिव रहीं; विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) और यूनिसेफ में प्रधानमंत्री के सचिव के रूप में कार्य किया; तथा बाद में वे मध्य प्रदेश की राज्यपाल भी रहीं। सरला जी का जीवन महिलाओं को प्रेरित करने वाला एक अमूल्य उदाहरण है।

S.K Ojha a.k.a. Shubh Karan Ojha was a film director, actor and story writer, born on October 16, 1921 in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. He made his directorial debut with Doli in 1947. Later he directed many films including Nai Reet, Adhi Raat, Hulchal. He also wrote the story of the film Upaasna, which released in 1971.

Ramchandra Purushottam Marathe (23 October 1924 – 4 October 1989), also known as Pandit Ram Marathe, was a Marathi music director, singer and actor on stage and in films. He joined Sagar Film Company in 1933 and acted in Mehboob Films like “Manmohan”, “Jagirdar” and “Vatan”.[citation needed] Subsequently he joined Prabhat Film Company in 1935 & acted in “Gopalkrishnan” under the direction of Shri V. Shantaram. He was with Prabhat till 1940 and acted in number of Prabhat films notably “Admi” (Hindi) and “Manus” (Marathi). He acted as child prodigee/actor in more than 16 films. Not only that, he was disciple of Vilayat Hussain Khan, the maestro of Agra gharana of Hindustani classical music, Master Krishnarao Phulambrikar and others. Through Master krishnarao, he developed his Khayal style which had elements of different gharanas such as Jaipur, Gwalior and Agra. He received several acoccolades including the “Sangeet Natak Academy” Award in New Delhi for Marathi stage music (Natyasangeet) in 1988 from Honorable President of India Shri Venkatraman.

संध्या मुखर्जी
आज हम याद कर रहे हैं, बंगाली संगीत जगत की अमर गायिका संध्या मुखर्जी को, जिनको ‘गीताश्री’ के नाम से भी जाना जाता था। उनका जन्म 4 अक्टूबर 1931 को कोलकाता के धाकुरिया में हुआ था। बचपन से ही संगीत के प्रति आकर्षित संध्या जी ने प्लेबैक सिंगिंग में अपनी पहचान बनाई। उन्होंने हिंदी, मराठी समेत कई भाषाओं में 10,000 से अधिक गीत गाए, जिनमें रवींद्रनाथ टैगोर के भजन और नॉन-फिल्म एल्बम भी शामिल हैं।
उनकी उपलब्धियों में राष्ट्रीय फिल्म पुरस्कार के लिए दो बार सम्मानित होना प्रमुख है-1970 में गीत “ओरे सकोल सोना मोलीन” और ‘जय जयंती’ के लिए। 2011 में पश्चिम बंगाल का सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मान बंग भूषण, 1999 (निन्यानबे) में भारत निर्माण लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट अवॉर्ड और 2018 में पद्म भूषण से नवाजी गईं। संध्या जी का स्वर आज भी बंगाली संगीत को जीवंत रखता है,

Senior actress and celebrated dancer Sandhya Shantaram was cremated today at the Shivaji Park crematorium in Mumbai. She passed away yesterday at the age of 87. Sandhya rose to fame with filmmaker V. Shantaram’s classic Navrang, with the song ‘Are Ja Re Hat Natkhat’ becoming especially popular. She went on to earn acclaim for her performances in films such as Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baje, Jal Bin Machhli Nritya Bin Bijli, Do Aankhen Barah Haath, Amar Bhoopali, and Pinjara. Maharashtra’s Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar paid tribute to the veteran artist, recalling her contribution to Indian cinema and dance.
