- What is 6G in a brief
6G will operate at terahertz frequency bands, delivering a peak data throughput of 1,000 gigabits/s with an air latency of less than 100 microseconds. When comparing 5G and 6G network speeds, 6G is predicted to be 100 times faster than 5G, with improved reliability and broader network coverage.
- What will 6G enable us to do?
One of the goals of the 6G internet is to support one microsecond latency communications. This is 1,000 times faster — or 1/1000th the latency — than one millisecond throughput. The 6G technology market is expected to facilitate large improvements in the areas of imaging, presence technology and location awareness.
Electronics and IT Secretary, S. Krishnan today said that the 6G technology has the potential to strengthen the nation’s digital economy and enhance productivity. Addressing the Bharat 6G 2024 Conference in New Delhi, Mr Krishnan said, the growth in 6G technology can have the same impact as the first industrial revolution. He further highlighted that 6G will lead to large data generation and it will provide better input for Artificial Inteligence to learn and smarten itself. Mr Krishnan urged the industry leaders at the conference to collaborate for a better digital infrastructure. It is an opportunity for industry players to engage, collaborate, and shape the future of communication.
India actively participated in shaping the International Telecommunication Union’s framework for 6G, recently finalized by the UN Telecom agency. The Department of Telecommunications emphasized connectivity, intelligence, and sustainability in 6G technology1.

भारत के 6G प्रोजेक्ट को दो चरणों- पहला चरण वर्ष 2023 से 2025 तक और दूसरा चरण वर्ष 2025 से 2030 तक कार्यान्वित किया जाएगा। सरकार ने परियोजना की देख-रेख और मानकीकरण, 6G उपयोग के लिये स्पेक्ट्रम की पहचान, उपकरणों और प्रणालियों के लिये एक पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र बनाने तथा अन्य बातों के अलावा अनुसंधान एवं विकास के लिये वित्त का पता लगाने जैसे मुद्दों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने हेतु एक शीर्ष परिषद का गठन किया है।
काउंसिल का मुख्य फोकस नई तकनीकों जैसे कि टेराहर्ट्ज़ संवाद, रेडियो इंटरफेस, टैक्टाइल इंटरनेट, कनेक्टेड इंटेलिजेंस के लिये कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता, 6G डिवाइस हेतु नए एन्कोडिंग तरीके और वेवफॉर्म चिपसेट पर होगा।
पहले चरण में अनुसंधान विचारों, जोखिम भरे माध्यमों एवं प्रूफ-ऑफ-कॉन्सेप्ट (PoC) परीक्षणों के लिये समर्थन प्रदान किया जाएगा। चरण दो के हिस्से के रूप में वैश्विक सहकर्मी समुदाय द्वारा स्वीकृति के लिये वादा और क्षमतावान विचारों एवं अवधारणाओं को पूरा करना, उनके उपयोग एवं लाभ तथा व्यावसायीकरण के लिये कार्यान्वयन IP और टेस्टबेड बनाने के लिये उचित समर्थन दिया जाएगा।

The 3-day historic Shiv Parvati Moungri Mela observed at Sar Dabar in Block Panchari of district Udhampur commenced on Tuesday with traditional fervour and gaiety. A large number of visitors arrived at Sar Dabber on the first day of the three-day Mela. People from Bhamag, Panchari, Udhampur, Chenani, Ramnagar, Jammu converge Moungri every year to celebrate the Mela and pay obeisance at the Shiva-Parvati Cave Shrine. More from our correspondent;
“Moungri Mela is a socio-religious event that brings together many people at Sar Dabar in Block Panchari of district Udhampur where devotees of Lord Shiva forget their caste, creed and language and share an experience of faith with full devotion. Moungri Mela is celebrated in the month of May in the remote area of ‘Kainth Gali around 26 Km falling in Panchari area of Udhampur district. The Mela is de facto, of sanctity of the beholder of Supreme ‘Lord Shiva’ and ‘Shakti’ (Mata Parvati) his consort. The Mela is celebrated for three days every year at ‘Sar Dabhar’. Sar is a Hindi word nomenclaturised as water and in this particular case ‘Sar Dabbar’, which in the times immortal was a lake which by the wishes of Almighty dried and now ‘Dabbar’ is a dense forest giving a vibrant and salubrious look. ‘Moungri’ is a small hamlet with two caves of magnanimity which are none the less than other spiritual shrines spread over the hilly terrain of Himalayas. These caves came to limelight in September, 1998 in the realm of dream when the local gathered and it was to their utmost astonishment on glimpsing these miraculous caves of ‘Lord Ganesha’ and ‘Shiv Parvati’ and till date an annual Mela is held on the 1st of Jeth (Adeshi month) and people of all hues gather here. Though, unbelievable but fact is that ‘duo caves’ are of their sanctified reverence which speak silently in divine tones. The caves are over millions years old and none could ever tell exactly how old is it? The length of the Ganesha cave is too narrow with watery carpet and is around twenty feet where one can have holy Darshan of Lord Ganesh, pay obeisance and obtain blessings. It is a wonder of wonders that on each clear day the Sun salutes these caves between 10 AM to 11 AM and rays which reflect over the pious and honey-dewed waters of Kancer stream. “हिमाचल प्रदेश में लोकसभा की सभी चारों सीटों सहित 6 विधानसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों में आगामी एक जून को सातवें व अंतिम चरण में वोट डाले जाएंगे। इसी के मद्देनजर राज्य निर्वाचन विभाग द्वारा मतदाताओं को जागरूक करने के लिए अनेक गतिविधियां आयोजित की जा रही हैं। राज्य के विभिन्न स्थानों पर सुव्यवस्थित मतदाता शिक्षा एवं निर्वाचक सहभागिता कार्यक्रम स्वीप के तहत लगातार मतदाताओं को मतदान के महत्व की जानकारी दी जा रही है। इसी कड़ी में हिमाचल प्रदेश के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी मनीष गर्ग ने शिमला के एतिहासिक रिज मैदान से लाहौल स्पिति के काजा तक चलने वाले साईक्लिंग एक्सपीडिशन का शुभारम्भ किया। 20 मई तक आयोजित होने वाला सात दिवसीय साईक्लिंग एक्सपीडिशन शिमला से होकर लाहौल–स्पीति जिला में 15 हजार 2 सौ 56 फुट विश्व के सबसे ऊंचे मतदान केन्द्र टाशीगंग तक लोगों को मतदान के प्रति जागरूक करेगा। इस साईक्लिंग रैली में 6 लोग हिस्सा ले रहे हैं, जिसमें से स्टेट इलेक्शन आइकन जसप्रीत पॉल व उनके साथी क्षितिज शिमला से टाशीगंग जाएंगे और अन्य 4 साईक्लिस्ट नारकंडा तक इस एक्सपीडिशन का हिस्सा होंगे। अभियान दल 16 मई को कल्पा में भारत के प्रथम मतदाता स्वर्गीय श्याम सरन नेगी को भी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करेगा। मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी मनीष गर्ग ने कहा कि लोगों को मतदान के प्रति जागरूक करने के उद्देश्य से इस साईक्लिंग एक्सपीडिशन की शुरुआत की गई है। उल्लेखनीय है कि राज्य निर्वाचन विभाग ने मण्डी जिला के 44 वर्षीय साइकलिस्ट जसप्रीत पॉल को स्टेट इलेक्शन आइकॉन बनाया है। जसप्रीत पॉल एक साइकलिस्ट होने के साथ–साथ एक पेशेवर फोटोग्राफर भी हैं। परिक्रमा के लिए आकाशवाणी शिमला से रितेश कपूर।“

Tripura, which is known for mass production of rubber, betel nut and bamboo also produces different types of mangoes. In a far flung Kathalia Rural Development block in Sepahijala district of the state, a mango cultivator is producing different types of this luscious fruit. “Come summer and the demand for one of the luscious fruit –Mango skyrockets in the market. There are distinct varieties of Mangoes which are grown in different corners of the country. Tripura which is home to some of the varieties of mangoes is known for the production of Amrapali and Mallika varieties of the fruit. A mango cultivator from Nirbhaypur village in Kathalia RD block is playing an instrumental role in taking this particular varieties of mango to the people through the nursery and mango plantation spread over 2 hectares of land.

“There are 5 assembly constituencies under Lucknow Lok Sabha seat. These include Lucknow East, Lucknow West, Lucknow Central, Lucknow North and Cantt Assembly. There are a total of 39 lakh 33 thousand 17 voters in this parliamentary constituency. These include 20 lakh 82 thousand 888 male voters, 18 lakh 49 thousand 960 female voters and 169 third gender voters. Congress has won the Lucknow seat six times, and BJP has won eight times. Vijay Lakshmi Pandit, sister of the country’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, became the first MP from this high-profile seat. Apart from this, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a five-time MP from Lucknow seat. In 2019, BJP’s Rajnath Singh became MP from this seat by defeating SP candidate Poonam Sinha. कोडंडेरा मडप्पा करिअप्पा (अंग्रेज़ी: Kodandera Madappa Cariappa, जन्म: 28 जनवरी, 1899 – मृत्यु: 15 मई, 1993)] भारत के पहले नागरिक थे, जिन्हें ‘प्रथम कमाण्डर इन चीफ़’ बनने का सौभाग्य प्राप्त हुआ था। करिअप्पा ने जनरल के रूप में 15 जनवरी, 1949 को पद ग्रहण किया था। इसके बाद से ही 15 जनवरी को ‘सेना दिवस’ के रूप में मनाया जाने लगा। करिअप्पा भारत की राजपूत रेजीमेन्ट से सम्बद्ध थे। 1953 ई. में करिअप्पा सेवानिवृत्त हो गये थे,लेकिन फिर भी किसी न किसी रूप में उनका सहयोग भारतीय सेना को सदा प्राप्त होता रहा।
