Jai Hind, listeners! Today we are celebring not just the stars above us… but the minds among us who make the impossible, possible. Today is a historic day, one that fills every Indian heart with pride – it’s National Space Day. Today – the 23rd of August – marks the second anniversary of one of the most remarkable achievements in India’s space history – the successful soft landing of the Chandrayaan-3 Mission’s Vikram Lander** on the surface of the Moon. And with it, the glorious debut of our Moon rover – Pragyan.

With that one landing, India became the first country in the worldto land in this challenging region of the Moon – and only the fourth ever to successfully land on the Moon at all. A historic moment not just for our nation, but for all of humanity. And then came Pragyan, the six-wheeled lunar rover, rolling out to explore the Moon, conduct scientific experiments, and transmit valuable data back to Earth.

 

“On this day in 2023, the Chandrayaan-3 mission accomplished the safe and soft landing of the Vikram Lander on the lunar surface. With this, India became the fourth country to land on the moon and the first to land near the southern polar region of the moon. The soft landing was followed by a successful deployment of the Pragyaan Rover. The landing site was named Shiv Shakti Point. To honour this achievement, the Government of India officially declared August 23rd as “National Space Day.” The Day recognizes significant achievements in space exploration and highlights advancements in space technology. National Space Day is dedicated to inspiring future generations by generating interest in space science and technology among students and providing them with role models. In disaster-prone areas, **ISRO’s data** is being used for **early warning systems** and rescue coordination.

 

Major infrastructure projects like **PM Gati Shakti** are using **geospatial mapping** from space to build roads, railways, and logistics systems with incredible accuracy.

Startups like **Skyroot Aerospace**, **Agnikul Cosmos**, and others are building their own rockets!

 

Students from colleges across India are launching **nano-satellites** and winning global innovation awards. And organizations like **IN-SPACe** and **NSIL** are working to ensure the private sector and academia can participate fully in India’s space economy.

इसरो अध्यक्ष डॉ. वी. नारायणन ने कहा कि 2040 तक भारतीय अंतरिक्ष कार्यक्रम दुनिया के किसी भी अन्य अंतरिक्ष कार्यक्रम के बराबर हो जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि चंद्रयान-4 मिशन और वीनस ऑर्बिटर मिशन जैसे एक के बाद एक मिशन निर्धारित हैं। डॉ. नारायणन ने कहा कि भारत 2035 तक भारतीय अंतरिक्ष स्टेशन नामक एक अंतरिक्ष स्टेशन स्थापित करेगा और इसका पहला मॉड्यूल 2028 तक प्रक्षेपित हो जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री ने एनजीएल नेक्स्ट जेनरेशन लॉन्चर को मंज़ूरी दे दी है।

 

Astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla said, India has some very big ambitions going forward with the Gaganyaan Mission, the Bharatiya Antriksh Station and eventually landing on the moon. He said, the Japanese and the European Space Agencies are also excited about the mission. Mr Shukla said, this is the golden period for the country as far as space exploration is concerned.

बिहार में इको टूरिज्म के अंतर्गत पर्यटकों के लिए कई प्रकार की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई जारही है। नदियों और झीलों में जहां स्पोर्ट्स गेम्स , वाटर एडवेंचर की शुरुआत की गई है वहीं पहली बार पर्यटकों के लिए प्रख्यात दुर्गावती जलाशय के करमचट डैम में पहली बार शुरू हुई ‘हाउसबोट’ सुविधा शुरू होगी। कल इसकी शुरुआत होगी। सुनते हैं हमारे संवाददाता की रिपोर्ट:

 

 

“बिहार में पहली बार पर्यटकों के लिए हाउस बोट की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई जा रही है। कैमूर जिले के दुर्गावती जलाशय स्थित करमचट डैम में यह सुविधाउपलब्ध होगी। दुर्गावती जलाशय का क्षेत्र पर्यटकों के लिए काफी आकर्षण का केंद्र है आसपास के क्षेत्र में प्राकृतिक झरने और जलप्रपात लोगों का मन मोह लेते हैं। राज्य के वन और जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्री डॉ. सुनील कुमार कल इसका उद्घाटन करेंगे। आकाशवाणी समाचार से बातचीत में डा कुमार ने कहा कि यह सुविधा कश्मीर के डल झील की तरह होगी। करमचट डैम पहले से ही प्राकृतिक सुंदरता और हरियाली के लिए चर्चित है, लेकिन हाउसबोट सेवा की शुरू होने के बाद यह स्थल बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करेगा। हाउसबोट में पर्यटकों को सभी आधुनिक सुविधाएं उपलब्ध होंगी, ताकि वे न केवल प्रकृति का आनंद उठा सकें बल्कि अपने बोट के सफर को और आरामदायक और यादगार भी बना सकें। हाउसबोट में आने वाले पर्यटकों को सभी सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराई जाएंगी। बोट में एक वातानुकूलित कमरा, एक बाथरूम और एक किचन की व्यवस्था है। इसमें एक बार में 8 से 10 लोगों के बैठने की क्षमता होगी। यह क्षेत्र चारों तरफ से पहाड़ियों से घिरा हुआ है और यहां आने से 10-12 झरने देखने का आनंद मिलता है। यह नयी सुविधा रोजगार के भी कई अवसर सृजित करेगी। क्योंकि बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटकों के आने की संभावना है कैमूर जिले का यह इलाका ऐतिहासिक और प्राकृतिक धरोहरों से समृद्ध है। हाउसबोट संचालन से जुड़े प्रत्यक्ष और अप्रत्यक्ष कार्यों में स्थानीय युवाओं को रोजगार मिलेगा। इसके साथ ही आस-पास के इलाकों में होटल, रेस्टोरेंट, गाइड, परिवहन और हस्तशिल्प से जुड़े व्यवसाय को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा। परिक्रमा के लिए पटना से धर्मेंद्र कुमार राय।”

The Railway Board has approved a Joint Parcel Product-Rapid Cargo Train from Delhi to Budgam in the Kashmir valley to benefit the local population and the business class. The Railway Board examined the proposal of the Northern Railway Zone under which the Jammu Division falls, and decided to accord approval for the Cargo train service on the Budgam-Adarsh Nagar (Delhi)-Budgam route on a daily basis. The train will have a seating-cum-luggage rack with eight parcel vans and it will reach its destination station in about 23 hours.

 

“Just ahead of its apple season, Kashmir valley has got its parcel train service as in a major push to J&K’s economy and facilitates mainly valley’s horticulturists. The Jammu Division of Northern Railways will operate this train daily and this is the first such service in the Union Territory. This train service will be started soon. The objective of this initiative is to benefit the fruit producers besides other small and big businessmen of Kashmir. The main objective of this cargo service is to benefit the traders of J&K, and to deliver Kashmir Goods including, apple, saffron, dry fruits and walnuts, pashmina shawls, carpets, and other handicrafts to every corner of the country and to encourage their marketing internationally. The train service shall operate with eight parcel vans and one seating-cum-luggage rake. It will have an intermediate loading/unloading facility at the Bari Brahmana Station in Samba district. The cargo train service would initially be run on a pilot basis for one year from the date of operation. The Northern Railway shall coordinate with the J&K Police in matters connected to the security of running this train. Security of the parcels shall be ensured at both the originating and terminating ends. Scanning of the parcels shall be ensured in consultation with the state police. Senior commerce divisional manager, Jammu division, Uchit Singhal said, a half-yearly review may also be carried out to assess the effectiveness of the pilot project from time to time. Necessary instructions may be given to the staff concerned and wide publicity may be done among the stakeholders, especially in the Jammu Division. The initiative aims to increase the share of Railways in the courier business and provide an efficient, reliable and economical option to the customers. This service is focused to benefit the business class and its main objective is to showcase the unique products of Jammu & Kashmir, such as dry fruits and handicrafts, and to encourage their marketing in India and abroad. This train will reach its destination station Adarsh Nagar (Delhi) safely in about 23 hours, which is less time than road traffic from Budgam. आज ही पुण्यतिथि है शास्त्रीय संगीत के महान गायक विनायकराव पटवर्धन की। उनका जन्म 1898 में हुआ था। वे किराना घराने के प्रमुख गायकों में गिने जाते थे। उनकी गायकी में रागों की गहराई, आलाप की गंभीरता और सुरों का अद्भुत सौंदर्य मिलता है।

 

विनायकराव पटवर्धन ने केवल शास्त्रीय संगीत ही नहीं गाया, बल्कि भक्ति संगीत और भावगीतों में भी अपनी एक विशेष छाप छोड़ी। उनकी प्रस्तुतियाँ श्रोताओं को आध्यात्मिक अनुभव कराती थीं।

आज है मशहूर अभिनेत्री सायरा बानो का जन्मदिन। सायरा बानो का जन्म 23 अगस्त 1944 को हुआ था। उनका फिल्मी सफर 1961 में फ़िल्म जंगली से शुरू हुआ। इस फ़िल्म में शम्मी कपूर के साथ उनकी जोड़ी को खूब सराहा गया और दर्शकों ने उन्हें खुले दिल से अपनाया।

 

सायरा बानो अपनी खूबसूरती, मासूमियत और शानदार अदाकारी के लिए जानी जाती हैं। 1960 और 70 के दशक में उन्होंने एक से बढ़कर एक हिट फ़िल्में दीं। उनकी प्रमुख फिल्मों में पड़ोसन, शागिर्द, आदमी और इंसान, विक्टोरिया नंबर 203 और अपनी ही दुनिया शामिल हैं। विशेष तौर पर फ़िल्म पड़ोसन में सुनील दत्त और किशोर कुमार के साथ उनका कॉमिक टाइमिंग आज भी दर्शकों को हंसा देता है।

 

Regarded as one of the finest actors of Hindi cinema, she was among the most popular actresses of the 1960s and early 1970s. Banu received four Filmfare Awards nominations throughout her career.

 

सायरा बानो की निजी ज़िंदगी भी किसी फिल्मी कहानी से कम नहीं रही। 1966 में उन्होंने हिन्दी सिनेमा के ट्रेजेडी किंग दिलीप कुमार से शादी की। दोनों की जोड़ी ने सिनेमा जगत में प्यार और समर्पण की मिसाल कायम की। सायरा बानो ने 40 से अधिक फिल्मों में काम किया और अपनी छवि दर्शकों के दिलों में हमेशा कायम रखी।

दिल्ली में जन्मे कृष्णकुमार कुन्नथ, यानी के.के., ने अपने दिलकश और जादुई सुरों से भारतीय संगीत को नई पहचान दी। उन्होंने 1999 में अपने पहले ऐल्बम पल से गायक के तौर पर शुरुआत की। इस ऐल्बम का टाइटल सॉन्ग आज भी हर दिल को छू जाता है।
