ALSO SPEAKING OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY WE ALSO have to talk about launch of Axiom-4 mission, that would carry India’s astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla to space has been postponed by a day due to bad weather. In a social media post, ISRO Chairman V Narayanan said that the targeted time of the launch is 5:30 PM IST tomorrow. In a video message group capitan Shubhanshu Shukla expressed happiness being part of Axiom-4 mission.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today emphasized on the country’s ancient tradition of knowledge creation rooted in curiosity, sustainability, and ethics and inclusivity in the digital domain. Addressing the International Conference of Young Scientists, at the IIT-Hyderabad at Kandi in Telangana state, the Union Minister noted that the country is at the forefront of the global knowledge movement, with an education system that is both flexible and aligned with its civilizational ethos.
“The IIT-Hyderabad in collaboration with the Global Young Academy (GYA), the Indian National Young Academy of Science (INYAS), and the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), is hosting the International Conference. This week-long event, being held for the first time in the country is witnessing participation of 60 countries and marks a significant milestone in bringing together the next generation of global scientific leaders to collaborate on science-driven solutions for global challenges. Speaking on the occasion, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan described science as regenerative and integral to the vision of Viksit Bharat, where economic strength is complemented by scientific excellence. Emphasizing the country’s ancient tradition of knowledge creation rooted in curiosity, sustainability, and ethics, the minister recalled the country’s remarkable progress through milestones in space missions, food security, automation, robotics, and big data. He stressed the importance of inclusivity in the digital domain, noting India’s development of large language models, digital public infrastructure, and direct benefit systems beside initiatives that exemplify how science is transforming lives. बिहार में नशे के बढते प्रभाव और साइबर अपराधों में बढोतरी के मद्देनजर बिहार पुलिस ने दो नई इकाइयों की स्थापना का निर्णय किया है । इससे साइबर अपराध और नशे की तस्करी के संगठित अपराध पर अंकुश लगाने में मदद मिलेगी । सुनते है हमारे संवाददाता की रिपोर्ट –
बिहार पुलिस ने नई पहल करते हुए दो महत्वपूर्ण इकाइयों के गठन का निर्णय किया है इसमें अत्याधुनिक तकनीक से लैस साइबर सुरक्षा यूनिट और मादक पदार्थ नियंत्रण तथा मद्य निषेध यूनिट शामिल है। बिहार पुलिस ने माना है कि साइबर अपराध और नशे के कारोबार के तरीके बदल रहे हैं इसलिए समाज को प्रभावित करने वाले इन दोनों अपराधों पर सख्ती से अंकुश लगाने की जरुरत है। बिहार पुलिस मुख्यालय के अपर महानिदेशक कुंदन कृष्णन ने बताया कि नयी इकाइयों से पेशेवर तरीके से साइबर अपराध और मादक पदार्थ तस्करी तथा शराब तस्करी रोकने में मदद मिलेगी ।
अपर पुलिस महानिदेशक श्री कृष्णन ने बताया कि मादक पदार्थ निरोधक यूनिट बन जाने से बिहार में इस बढते सामाजिक चिंता के विषय को लेकर समाधान में काफी मदद मिलेगी ।

Both teams are seeking their first win in the group stage. India played out a goalless draw against Bangladesh in their previous match, while Hong Kong also drew with Singapore.
The match holds significant importance, as only the top team from the group will qualify for the prestigious AFC Asian Cup, set to be held in Saudi Arabia in 2027.

In the global crude oil market, Brent Crude was trading over 0.4 percent up at 67 dollars and 34 cents per barrel, and WTI Crude was also trading over 0.4 percent up at 65 dollars and 57 cents per barrel, when reports last came in. In the Indian bullion market, 24-karat gold was trading down at 97,260 rupees per 10 grams, and silver 999 fine was also trading down at 1,07,470 rupees per kilogram, when reports last came in.

Girish Karnad (born May 19, 1938 – June 10, 2019) rememberuing Girish Karnad was a polymath who donned so many hats all his life that it is difficult to peg him to a single role. The Indian playwright, author, actor, and film director whose movies and plays, written largely in Kannada, explore the present by way of the past. Alongside his contemporary dramatists , Karnad transformed the modern Indian theater by making it socially relevant and stylistically innovative. Karnad was awarded the Padma Shri, one of India’s top civilian honors, in 1974 for his contributions to theater. In 1992 the Indian government awarded Karnad another of its highest honors, the Padma Bhushan, in recognition of his contributions to the arts. He was the recipient of the Jnanpith Award, India’s highest literary prize, in 1999 for his contributions to literature and theater.
