- अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय दिवस की अवधारणा 1951 से चली आ रही है, जब अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय परिषद ने “संग्रहालयों और शिक्षा” के मुद्दे की जांच करने के लिए “संग्रहालयों के लिए धर्मयुद्ध” बैठक के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय समुदाय को बुलाया था। आधिकारिक तौर पर इस दिन की शुरुआत 1977 में हुई थी, जब मॉस्को में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय परिषद की आम सभा द्वारा अनुमोदित एक प्रस्ताव को अपनाया गया था।

Miss Estonia Eliise Randmaa
Miss Estonia Eliise Randmaa has bagged gold in the Miss World Sports challenge. This marks her country’s first advance to the next round of the pageant since 1999. The sports event was held at Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad. With this, Eliise Randmaa secured her a spot among Europe’s top 10 quarter-finalists.
A total 109 countries have been represented at the Miss World contest this year, happening in Hyderabad of Telangana. Though the sports challenge was not an elimination round, the Miss World contestants had an opportunity to secure their place in the advanced contests. The competition, held at Gachibowli stadium, featured a series of athletic challenges, including badminton knockouts, shot put, chess, basketball, football penalty shootouts, shuttle runs, and sprints, along with Zumba sessions. The organisers informed that the challenge was designed to foster both camaraderie and spirited competition to test the delegates on multiple fronts like physical fitness, overall health, athletic ability, and a resilient and positive mindset. While Miss Estonia Eliise Randmaa bagged the gold, the silver medal went to Miss World Martinique, Aurélie Joachim, whose performance stood out among her peers. Miss World Canada, Emma Morrison, clinched the bronze, impressing the judges with her command in the badminton tournament. The Sports Challenge, one of the key fast-track events at Miss World 2025, featured 108 contestants from across the globe, grouped into four regional teams: Americas and Caribbean, Africa, Europe, and Asia and Oceania. The title of Miss World Sports or Sportswoman is awarded to the top performer in this event. As a fast-track competition, it grants the winner direct entry into the Top 40 quarter-finals, significantly advancing the contestant in the race for the Miss World crown. 21 जून को हम अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस मनाने जा रहे हैं और योग ने हमारे देश एक बडी क्रांति लाई है। आज हम याद कर रहे हैं कृष्ण पट्टाभि जोइस को जो प्रसिद्ध भारतीय योगाचार्य थे और उनकी आज पुण्यतिथि है। भारतीय योग के इतिहास में उनका नाम सबसे ऊंचे स्थान पर रहेगा। उन्होंने भारत में योग के महत्व को समझाया। वह प्रथम भारतीय योग गुरु थे, जिन्होंने स्तंग विन्यास जैसी योग की शुरुआत की। इसके अलावा कृष्ण पट्टाभि जोइस ने तमाम प्रकार की योग विकसित किये। उनके द्वारा 19वीं सदी के दौरान योग शोध संस्थान भी खोला गया, जिसमें छात्रों को प्रशिक्षित किया जाता था।

भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक के दसवें गवर्नर थे। इनका पूरा नाम सरूकाई जगन्नाथन था। इनका कार्यकाल 16 जून, 1970 से 19 मई, 1975 तक रहा। केंद्र सरकार भारत के कार्यकारी निदेशक, राज्यपाल के रूप में नियुक्त किए जाने के बाद उन्होंने विश्व बैंक में कार्य किया था। इन्होंने प्रेसीडेंसी कॉलेज, मद्रास में शिक्षा प्राप्त की थी। जगन्नाथन भारतीय सिविल सेवा के सदस्य थे। भारत में पहली बार 20 रुपये और 50 रुपये के भारतीय रुपयों के नोट पेश किए गए थे और इन्होंने इस पर अपने हस्ताक्षर किये थे। उन्होंने आईएमएफ में भारत के कार्यकारी निदेशक पद का पदभार ग्रहण करने के लिए कार्यालय से अवकाश ग्रहण किया था।
