Today is International Mother’s Day. It is celebrated around the world as a special occasion to honour mothers and maternal figures for their love, for their sacrifices, and contributions to family and society. Today in India a silent resilience pulses through the hearts of mothers whose children are called to duty to the nation, especially at the border, amid conflict. As tensions between India and Pakistan escalate, these women carry a burden known and understood only by those who have kissed their sons and daughters goodbye, unsure if they will get to see them again. Despite the sleepless nights and the haunting fear, their eyes do not waver. They are strong, not because they do not feel the weight of war, but because they carry it with grace and faith in their children and above all, in their country.
इतनी सी बात हवाओं को बताए रखना,
रोशनी होगी चिरागों को जलाए रखना,
लहु देकर की है जिसकी हिफाजन हमने,
ऐसे तिरंगे को हमेशा दिल में बसाए रखना।
हिमालय की पहाड़ियों और पंजाब के हरे-भरे मैदानों से लेकर असम के चाय के बागानों तक, भारत की माएँ हिम्मत नहीं हारतीं। वे अपने आंसू पोंछती हैं और अपने बेटों के ज़िंदा वापस आने का इंतज़ार करती हैं। जब कोई सैनिक देश की सीमा पर तैनात होता है तो उसका पूरा परिवार एक अनकहे युद्ध से गुजरता है। आसान नहीं होता अपने जिगर के टुकड़े को सरहद पर भेजना। माएं, त्याग, साहस और देशभक्ति की सर्वोच्च मिसाल होती है। ये माएं हमें सिखाती हैं कि असली देशभक्ति सिर्फ युद्ध भूमि में नहीं बल्कि त्याग और सहनशीलता में भी होती है। उन सभी माताओं को नमन जिनकी ममता के कारण हम सुरक्षित अपने घरों में, अपने राष्ट्र में खुली हवा में साँस ले रहें हैं।
They personify patriotism that doesn’t scream slogans, but whispers in sleepless nights, spent sobbing into their pillows after they brave goodbyes to ensure their sons and daughters don’t bear the burden of their fear. And when you ask them, “How do you do it?” They will answer, “Because we are mothers.”

मदर्स डे की शुरुआत अमेरिका में हुई थी। साल 1908 में अन्ना जार्विस ने पहली बार अपनी मां एन रीव्स जार्विस की याद में इसको मनाया था। दरअसल, अन्ना जार्विस की मां एक शांति कार्यकर्ता थीं और अमरीकी गृहयुद्ध के दौरान घायल सैनिकों की देखभाल की थी। जार्विस ने अपनी मां और अन्य माताओं के योगदान के लिए एक दिन की मांग की थी, जिसके छह साल के बाद यानी 1914 में अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति वुडरो विल्सन मई के दूसरे रविवार को मदर्स डे के रूप में घोषित किया।
Mother’s Day is more than just a celebration – it’s a reminder of the pivotal role mothers play in shaping lives and nurturing generations. Government has said that several combat gaming videos are being deceptively circulated as real footages of recent India-Pakistan conflict and urged people not to fall prey to such propaganda posts. The Fact Check Unit of Press Information Bureau said, combat gaming footages are flooding social media where video game scenes being deceptively presented as actual combat and digital combat clips are being misrepresented as real footage. It urged people to stay vigilant.

बिहार ने शिशु और मातृ मृत्यु दर में काफी कमी दर्ज की है । रजिfस्ट्रार जनरल ऑफ इंडिया की ओर से जारी आंकड़ों के मुताबिक बिहार ने मातृ मृत्यु दर यानी एम एम आर में कमी लाकर सतत विकास लक्ष्य 2030 की प्राप्ति की दिशा में बड़ा कदम बढाया है । शिशु मृत्य दर के आंकड़ो में भी बड़ी कमी आयी है । केंद्र सरकार ने वर्ष 2021 के लिए ये आंकडे सिस्टम रजिस्ट्रेशन सिस्टम यानी SRS के तहत जारी किये गये हैं ।
“रजिस्ट्रार जनरल ऑफ इंडिया के आंकड़ो के अनुसार मातृ मृत्यु दर और शिशु मृत्यु दर में उल्लेखनीय सुधार हुआ है । ये आंकडे वर्ष 2021 के लिए जारी किये गये हैं । आंकड़ों के अनुसार प्रति एक लाख पर एमएमआर में यह संख्या 100 हो गयी है । वहीं प्रति दस हजार पर बाल मृत्यु दर कम होकर 27 हो गयी है। बिहार के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री मंगल पांडेय ने कहा कि यह स्वास्थ्य मानकों में बडे सुधार का परिचायक है।
स्वास्थ्य के संकेतक के तौर पर मातृ मृत्यु दर और शिशु मृत्यु दर में बड़ी कमी राज्य में अच्छी स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं की उपलब्धता की ओर ईशारा करते हैं। परिक्रमा के लिए पटना से धर्मेन्द्र कुमार राय।”

“हरियाणा सरकार ने लगातार राज्य में हरित खाद को बढ़ावा दे रही है। सरकार ने किसानों को रासायनिक खाद पर निर्भरता से मुक्त करने के उद्देश्य से एक बड़ी योजना की घोषणा की है। हरियाणा के कृषि मंत्री श्री श्याम सिंह राणा ने कहा है कि योजना के मुताबिक अब जो किसान अपनी जमीन पर ढेंचा हरित खाद के रूप में उगाएंगे, उन्हें सरकार की ओर से नकद प्रोत्साहन राशि प्रदान दी जाएगी। यह राशि प्रत्यक्ष लाभ अंतरण के माध्यम से सीधे किसानों के बैंक खातों में भेजी जाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि ढेंचा उगाने वाले किसानों को प्रति एकड़ 1,000 रुपये की आर्थिक सहायता दी जाएगी। ढेंचा एक प्राकृतिक खाद है जो मिट्टी की उर्वरता बढ़ाने, नमी बनाए रखने और उत्पादन लागत घटाने में सहायक है। यह योजना पहली बार प्रदेशभर में लागू की जा रही है, जिससे हजारों किसानों को लाभ होगा। वास्तव में ढेंचा एक फलीदार फसल है, जिसे कटाई से पहले मिट्टी में जोतकर जैविक खाद तैयार की जाती है। यह फ़सल मिट्टी की उर्वरता बढ़ाने में भी सहायक होती हैं क्योंकि ये नाइट्रोजन स्थिरीकरण करती हैं और नाइट्रोजन की पूर्ति करती है। विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि इससे मिट्टी की संरचना बेहतर होती है और लंबे समय तक उत्पादकता बनी रहती है। परिक्रमा के लिए चंडीगढ़ से अश्विनी कुमार शर्मा”

रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने कहा है कि ऑपरेशन सिंदूर महज़ सैन्य कार्रवाई नहीं है, बल्कि भारत की राजनीतिक, सामाजिक और सामरिक इच्छा शक्ति का प्रतीक है। आज लखनऊ में ब्रह्मोस एयरोस्पेस इंटिग्रेशन एण्ड टेस्टिंग फेसिलिटी का वर्चुअल माध्यम से उद्धाटन करते हुए रक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि इस ऑपरेशन से आतंकवाद के खिलाफ भारत की दृढ़ इच्छा शक्ति और सैन्य शक्ति का पता चलता है। उन्होंने कहा कि जब भी भारत आतंकवाद के खिलाफ कोई कार्रवाई करेगा तो सीमा पार के क्षेत्र आतंकवादियों और उनके आकाओं के लिए सुरक्षित नहीं रहेंगे। श्री सिंह ने कहा कि भारतीय सेनाओं ने ऑपरेशन सिंदूर पाकिस्तान में आतंकवादी ठिकानों को नष्ट करने के उद्देश्य से शुरू किया था और रिहायशी इलाकों को कतई लक्ष्य नहीं बनाया गया। लेकिन पाकिस्तान ने भारत के रिहायशी इलाकों को निशाना बनाया और साथ ही मंदिरों, गुरूद्वारों और चर्च पर भी हमले किए। रक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि सरकार ने आतंकवाद के खिलाफ जीरो टोलरेंस की नीति अपनाई है।

He said, Brahmos is one of the world’s fastest, supersonic cruise missiles. Mr Singh said, it is not just a weapon, but it is a message in itself. He said, it is a message of the strength of the Indian armed forces, a message of the deterrence towards the enemy and a message of the commitment to safeguarding the borders.

मृणालिनी साराभाई (जयंती)
भारत की प्रसिद्ध शास्त्रीय नृत्यांगना थीं। उन्हें ‘अम्मा’ के तौर पर जाना जाता था। तत्कालीन समय में यह वह दौर, था जब कलाकार सिर्फ एक ‘फॉर्म’ नहीं सीखते थे। मृणालिनी साराभाई ने भी नृत्य की अलग-अलग शैलियों की बारीकियां सीखीं। उन्होंने अमूबी सिंह से मणिपुरी नृत्य सीखा। कुंजु कुरूप से कथकली सीखा। मीनाक्षी सुदंरम पिल्लै और मुथुकुमार पिल्लै से भरतनाट्यम सीखा। शास्त्रीय नृत्य में उनके योगदान तथा उपलब्धियों को देखते हुए भारत सरकार ने उन्हें ‘पद्मभूषण’ से सम्मानित किया था।

आज भारतीय हिन्दी सिनेमा के दिग्गज पटकथा लेखक सागर सरहदी की जयंती है। उन्होंने ‘कभी कभी’, ‘चांदनी’, ‘सिलसिला’, ‘नूरी’, ‘दीवाना’, ‘कहो न प्यार है’, जैसी कई बेहतरीन फ़िल्मों की पटकथा लिखी। एक नाटक प्रेमी होने के साथ ही उन्होंने फ़िल्मों के संवाद लेखन और निर्देशन भी किया। स्मिता पाटिल की सबसे यादगार फ़िल्मों में से एक ‘बाज़ार’ की न केवल सागर सरहदी ने कहानी लिखी बल्कि उसके निर्माता निर्देशक भी वे ही थे। सागर सरहदी ने रंगमंच की दुनिया में फ़ारुख़ शेख़ और शबाना आज़मी जैसे दिग्गज कलाकारों को मौका दिया था।
