The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has issued an advisory to all media channels to refrain from showing live coverage of anti-terrorist operations and movement of security forces in the interest of national security. It said that the media, digital platforms, and individuals play a vital role in safeguarding national security. The Ministry asked them to refrain from reporting based on sources-based information related to defence operations or movement. It said, premature disclosure of sensitive information may inadvertently assist hostile elements and endanger operational effectiveness and the safety of personnel.
The Ministry highlighted that the past incidents have underscored the importance of responsible reporting. During events such as the Kargil war, the Mumbai terror attacks (26/11), and the Kandahar hijacking, unrestricted coverage had unintended adverse consequences on national interests. The Cable Television Network Amendment Rules state that no programme should be carried in the cable service which contains live coverage of any anti-terrorist operation by security forces.

The idea for World Veterinary Day started in the year 2000, after the World Veterinary Association highlighted the important role that veterinarians play in society. The theme for this year is ‘Animal Health Takes a Team’.
To mark the occasion, the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying today organized a National Workshop in New Delhi. The workshop highlighted the welfare schemes for animals as well as their condition in the country.
Addressing the workshop, Minister of State for Fisheries Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Dr. S P Singh Baghel said that India is on the top position in the milk sector. He stressed that the government is promoting artificial insemination to increase the number of cows in the country, so that demand for milk based products can be fulfilled.
Wider responsibilities
Veterinary services are increasingly multifaceted.
From ensuring the health of livestock and poultry to managing zoonotic diseases and promoting animal welfare, veterinarians undertake a wide range of responsibilities.
Their work extends beyond traditional animal care, impacting the economy, public health, and the environment.
With nearly 75% of emerging infectious diseases being zoonotic (transmissible from animals to humans), veterinary professionals are frontline defenders in disease prevention.
Their work in surveillance and control of diseases such as rabies, avian influenza, leptospirosis, and brucellosis is crucial in safeguarding human health.
HOW IT CONTRIBUTES TO ANIMAL WELFARE
Veterinary professionals conduct regular health screenings, implement biosecurity measures, and advise farmers on best practices for disease prevention.
Their expertise in disease control, vaccination programs, and nutrition management helps maintain the health of the nation’s livestock industry.
Beyond commercial farming, veterinarians advocate for the ethical treatment of animals, providing medical care to pets, working animals, and wildlife.
Further veterinarians working in wildlife department protect endangered species and provide medical treatment to injured wildlife.
Additionally, veterinarians work closely with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and community groups to address issues such as stray animal population control, responsible pet ownership, and animal cruelty prevention.

Every year, World Intellectual Property Day is observed on April 26 with an aim to acknowledge the importance of intellectual property (IP) in fostering innovation, protecting artists and advancing global economic and cultural growth. बिहार में पटना के अधिवेशन भवन और आई आई एम बोधगया में 15 वें राष्ट्रीय रोजगार मेले का आयोजन किया गया । पटना में केंद्रीय कृषि राज्य मंत्री रामनाथ ठाकुर और बोधगया में केंद्रीय मंत्री जीतन राम मांझी ने विभिन्न केंद्रीय विभागों में नव नियुक्त अभ्यर्थियों को नियुक्ति पत्र प्रदान किये । आज दोनों समारोहों में दो सौ अस्सी से अधिक नव नियुक्ति अभ्यर्थियों को नियुक्ति पत्र प्रदान किये गये । नव नियुक्त कर्मियों ने नियुक्ति पत्र पाने के बाद प्रसन्नता जताई और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के प्रति आभार जताया ।

हरियाणा में ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में खाप पंचायतों का काफी प्रभाव है । मुख्यमंत्री नायब सिंह सैनी जो प्रदेश में नशों के खात्मे के लिए लगातार प्रयास कर रहे हैं, ने खाप प्रतीदहियों से नशे के खात्मे के लिए सहयोग मांगा है ।
उन्होंने कहा है कि खापों का हमारे समाज में विशेष प्रभाव रहा है। युवा खापों से संस्कार सीखते रहे हैं, इसीलिए खाप युवाओं को नशे से मुक्ति में अहम योगदान दे सकती हैं। यह एक ऐसा गंभीर विषय है, जिसके पूरे समाज पर दुष्प्रभाव आ रहे हैं। नशे के खात्मे के लिए उनसे व सरकार से खापें जितना भी सहयोग चाहेंगी, वह दिया जाएगा।
प्रदेश में नशा मुक्त हरियाणा के संदेश के साथ साइक्लोथॉन भी चल रही है। इस दौरान हरियाणा के खाप प्रतिनिधियों का साथ मिल रहा है

The largest ever adrenal tumour in the world has been removed robotically in a minimally invasive fashion in the National Capital Delhi. The complex surgery was conducted at Safdarjung Hospital on a 36 year old woman. Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, Dr Sandeep Bansal informed that the tumour measuring 18.2 x 13.5 cms is the largest ever adrenal tumour in the world to have been removed robotically in a minimally invasive fashion. The robotic surgery was conducted by Professor and Head of the Department of Urology and Renal Transplant Dr. Pawan Vasudeva along with Dr. Niraj Kumar and Dr. Avishek Mandal. Speaking to Akashvani News, Professor and Head of the Department of Urology and Renal Transplant, Dr. Pawan Vasudeva said, the procedure was fraught with dangers since the tumour not only had grown to a massive size but had also encroached upon three critical body structures, the Inferior Vena Cava, Liver and the Right kidney. Dr Vasudeva opined that precise dissection is the key to performing such surgeries and that the 3D Vision of the Da Vinci robot along with its dextrous robotic arms allows one to perform complex surgeries with greater precision than what is usually possible with laparoscopy. The surgery lasted over three hours. Post operative recovery was also uneventful.
Dr Vasudeva said, robotic surgery offers numerous benefits, including small key hole incisions, precise work, reduced postoperative pain, early post operative recovery and discharge with a faster return to work. He said, if this surgery had been performed by an open route, it would have required a skin incision of more than 20 centimeters, with subsequent complete healing requiring a few weeks.With Anupam reports this is Manal for Parikrama.

प्रधानमंत्री सूर्य घर योजना के तहत उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने मार्च 2027 तक प्रदेश में कुल 8 लाख सोलर रूफटॉप संयंत्रों की स्थापना का लक्ष्य निर्धारित किया है। इसके अंतर्गत मौजूदा वित्तीय वर्ष में 2.65 लाख संयंत्रों का इंस्टॉलेशन किया जाना है, जिसमें हर माह 22 हजार और प्रत्येक जिले में औसतन 300 इंस्टॉलेशन किए जाएंगे।
उत्तर प्रदेश में पीएम सूर्य घर योजना को घर–घर तक पहुंचाने के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश नवीन एवं नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा विकास अभिकरण –यूपीनेडा प्रतिबद्धता के साथ काम कर रहा है। इसके तहत, मार्च 2025 तक पोर्टल पर करीब 11 लाख आवेदन मिले हैं। अब तक प्रदेश में 1 लाख से अधिक सोलर रूफटॉप संयंत्र लगाए जा चुके हैं। मौजूदा समय में हर माह करीब 11 हजार और प्रतिदिन 500 से अधिक इंस्टॉलेशन किए जा रहे हैं। योजना के तहत अब तक ढाई हजार से अधिक वेंडर्स को इम्पैनल्ड किया जा चुका है, जबकि लगभग 1800 वेंडर्स को प्रशिक्षण भी प्रदान किया गया है। राष्ट्रीय उद्यमिता एवं लघु व्यवसाय संस्थान, भारत सरकार के कौशल विकास मंत्रालय और यूपीनेडा के सहयोग से वेंडर्स को चरणबद्ध तरीके से प्रशिक्षण दिया जा रहा है। वेंडर्स को बैंकों के माध्यम से लोन और क्रेडिट गारंटी स्कीम का लाभ भी दिया जा रहा है, ताकि उनकी आर्थिक क्षमता मजबूत हो सके। योजना को सफल बनाने के लिए सरकार ने इसके लिए जनपदवार, नगर निगम और नगर पालिका स्तर पर लक्ष्य निर्धारित किए हैं। योजना की निगरानी और समीक्षा मुख्यमंत्री डैशबोर्ड से जोड़कर की जा रही है, जिससे प्रगति की रियल टाइम मॉनिटरिंग संभव हो सके। फरवरी 2024 में शुरू हुई इस योजना को उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने प्राथमिकता पर रखते हुए पूरे प्रदेश में ग्रीन एनर्जी को बढ़ावा देने का बड़ा कदम उठाया है। इस योजना के माध्यम से प्रदेश देशभर में सौर ऊर्जा क्षेत्र में अग्रणी बनने की दिशा में तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहा है। वर्तमान में उत्तर प्रदेश गुजरात और महाराष्ट्र के बाद सबसे अधिक रूफटॉप सोलर पैनल का इंस्टॉलेशन करने वाला राज्य है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा शुरू की गई इस योजना का उद्देश्य वित्त वर्ष 2027 तक आवासीय क्षेत्र में 1 करोड़ रूफटॉप सोलर इंस्टालेशन करना है। इसके लिए 75,021 करोड़ रुपये का बजट आवंटित किया गया है। एक करोड़ घरों को लाभ पहुंचाने के लक्ष्य के साथ यह योजना सरकार को सालाना 75,000 करोड़ रुपये की बिजली लागत बचाने में भी मदद करेगी। इस योजना के तहत सोलर पैनल लगवाने वालों को केंद्र सरकार के साथ ही राज्य सरकार भी सब्सिडी दे रही है। परिक्रमा के लिए ओम अवस्थी, आकाशवाणी समाचार लखनऊ।

अब आइए बात करते हैं, उन महान व्यक्तियों की जिनकी आज है–पुण्यतिथि, जयंती या जन्मदिन।
शंकर सिंह रघुवंशी (पुण्यतिथि)
आज भारतीय सिनेमा के प्रसिद्ध संगीतकार शंकर सिंह रघुवंशी की पुण्यतिथि है। इन्होंने अपनी जोड़ी संगीतकार जयकिशन के साथ मिलकर बनाई और शंकर-जयकिशन नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुए। पृथ्वी थियेटर्स में ही काम करते करते शंकर और जयकिशन राजकपूर के क़रीबी हो गए। राजकपूर ने जब शंकर द्वारा लिखी उनकी कम्पोज़िशन ‘अम्बुआ का पेड़ है, वही मुडेर है, मेरे बालमा, अब काहे की देर है’ की बनायी धुन सुनी तो उन्होंने राम गाँगुली की जगह शंकर जयकिशन को ही बरसात का संगीत सौंप दिया। यही धुन बाद में ‘जिया बेकरार है, छायी बहार है’ के रूप में ‘बरसात’ में आयी। फ़िल्म बरसात में उनकी जोड़ी ने जिया बेकरार है और बरसात में हमसे मिले तुम सजन जैसा सुपरहिट संगीत दिया। फ़िल्म की कामयाबी के बाद शंकर जयकिशन बतौर संगीतकार अपनी पहचान बनाने मे सफल हो गये।
उन्हें नौ बार सर्वश्रेष्ठ संगीतकार के फ़िल्मफेयर पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया।

Srinivasa Ramanujan Aiyangar FRS (22 December 1887 – 26 April 1920) was an Indian mathematician. Often regarded as one of the greatest mathematicians of all time, though he had almost no formal training in pure mathematics, he made substantial contributions to mathematical analysis, number theory, infinite series, and continued fractions, including solutions to mathematical problems then considered unsolvable.
Ramanujan initially developed his own mathematical research in isolation. According to Hans Eysenck, “he tried to interest the leading professional mathematicians in his work, but failed for the most part. What he had to show them was too novel, too unfamiliar, and additionally presented in unusual ways; they could not be bothered”. Seeking mathematicians who could better understand his work, in 1913 he began a mail correspondence with the English mathematician G. H. Hardy at the University of Cambridge, England. Recognising Ramanujan’s work as extraordinary, Hardy arranged for him to travel to Cambridge. In his notes, Hardy commented that Ramanujan had produced groundbreaking new theorems, including some that “defeated me completely;
During his short life, Ramanujan independently compiled nearly 3,900 results (mostly identities and equations). Many were completely novel; his original and highly unconventional results, such as the Ramanujan prime, the Ramanujan theta function, partition formulae and mock theta functions, have opened entire new areas of work and inspired further research.
आज महान् भारतीय गणितज्ञ श्रीनिवास अयंगर रामानुजन् की पुण्यतिथि है। इन्हें गणित में कोई विशेष प्रशिक्षण नहीं मिला, फिर भी इन्होंने विश्लेषण एवं संख्या सिद्धांत के क्षेत्रों में गहन योगदान दिए। गणित के क्षेत्र में अपने समय के अनेक दिग्गजों को पीछे छोड़ने वाले श्रीनिवास रामानुजन ने केवल 32 साल के जीवनकाल में पूरी दुनिया को गणित के अनेक सूत्र और सिद्धांत दिए। इन्होंने खुद से गणित सीखा और अपने जीवनभर में गणित के 3,884 प्रमेयों का संकलन किया। इनमें से अधिकांश प्रमेय सही सिद्ध किये जा चुके हैं। उनके सूत्र कई वैज्ञानिक खोजों में मददगार बने। हाल में इनके सूत्रों को क्रिस्टल-विज्ञान में प्रयुक्त किया गया है। इनके कार्य से प्रभावित गणित के क्षेत्रों में हो रहे काम के लिये रामानुजन जर्नल की स्थापना की गई है।

1950 और 1960 के दशक की कई हिंदी फिल्मों में उन्होंने काम किया। कई बार फिल्मों में वह डांसर के तौर पर भी नजर आईं। उनकी सबसे ज्यादा मशहूर फिल्मों में ‘सीआईडी’, ‘नया दौर’, ‘ताज महल’, ‘गबन’ और ‘जमीर’ शामिल हैं। पहली फिल्म ‘सखी हातिम’ में मीनू मुमताज बलराज साहनी जैसे दिग्गज अभिनेता के साथ नजर आयीं। उन्होंने गुरुदत्त साहब के साथ भी काम किया। ‘चौदहवीं का चांद’, ‘कागज के फूल’, ‘साहिब बीवी और गुलाम’, ‘ताजमहल’, ‘घूंघट’, ‘इंसान जाग उठा’, ‘घर बसाके देखो’ जैसी कई फिल्मों में उन्होंने काम किया था।

Nitin Bose (26 April 1897 – 14 April 1986) was an Indian film director, cinematographer and screenwriter of the nation’s film industry. He was born in Calcutta and died in the same city. In the 1930s and early 40s, he worked with New Theatres, who made bilingual movies: in both Bengali and Hindi. Later, he moved to Bombay and directed under the banners of Bombay Talkies and Filmistan.
The first use of playback singing in Indian films occurred in films directed by Bose in 1935: first in Bhagya Chakra, a Bengali film, and later the same year in its Hindi remake, Dhoop Chhaon.
