Every year on 22nd of April, people around the globe come together to celebrate World Earth Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about environmental issues and promoting action to protect our planet. Since its inception in 1970, Earth Day has played a significant role in shaping environmental policies, fostering community engagement, and inspiring individuals to make conscious choices that contribute to a sustainable future.
Earth Day was founded in 1970 by Senator Gaylord Nelson of the United States of America and has been observed every year on April 22 since then. Earth Day is more than just a celebration; it is an important day for raising awareness, advocating, and engaging people in activities aimed at addressing the global climate catastrophe and supporting environmental lifestyle changes.
विश्व में पर्यावरण संरक्षण प्रयासों में समर्थन के लिए आज पृथ्वी दिवस मनाया जा रहा है। 1969 में यूनेस्को शिखर सम्मेलन में सुझाव के बाद पहली बार 1970 में पृथ्वी दिवस मनाया गया था। इस वर्ष पृथ्वी दिवस का विषय है- “हमारी शक्ति, हमारा ग्रह” ।

Earth Day theme
The theme for Earth Day focuses on measures to achieve ‘triple clean electricity’ goal by 2030 using renewable energy. The day advocates protection of natural resources such as air, oceans, soil, ecosystems, wildlife, and human health by harnessing renewable sources of energy. Solar, wind, hydroelectric, geothermal, and tidal energy are in focus to create clean, inexpensive, and unlimited energy for the entire planet.

क्या आपको पता है कि धरती पूरी तरह गोल नहीं है
धरती का 70 फ़ीसदी हिस्सा पानी है- धरती पर पाए जाने वाले कुल पानी का 97 फ़ीसदी हिस्सा समुद्री खारा पानी है.
पृथ्वी के 100 किलोमीटर ऊपर अंतरिक्ष है
पृथ्वी के केंद्र में लोहा है
पृथ्वी अकेला ऐसा ग्रह है जहां जीवन है और
पृथ्वी पर हर जगह गुरुत्वाकर्षण एक जैसा नहीं है।
अब बात करतें हैं कि हम पृथ्वी को सुरक्षित कैसे रख सकतें हैं:-
1. जल संरक्षण- पानी की बर्बादी के कारण ही भूमण्डल के हालात बिगड़ते जा रहे हैं। इसलिए सभी को ज्यादा से ज्यादा पानी बचाना चाहिए।
2. कचरा प्रबंधन- धरती पर कचरा भी बढ़ता जा रहा है। उसका उचित प्रबंधन और रीसाइक्लिंग न होने के कारण जगह जगह कचरे के ढेर लगे रहते हैं, जो वायु प्रदूषण, जल प्रदूषण का कारण बनते हैं।
3. वायु प्रदूषण कम करें- वर्तमान में वायु प्रदूषण बहुत ज्यादा बढ़ गया है। लोगों के लिए खुली हवा में सांस लेना जहर को अपने अंदर लेने जैसा है। वाहनों की बढ़ती संख्या और हवाई जहाजों से निकलने वाले धुएं से प्रदूषण फैलता है।
4. केमिकल के इस्तेमाल में कमी – आधुनिक भारत में लगभग हर काम के लिए वैज्ञानिक पद्धति का इस्तेमाल होता है। ऐसे में केमिकल युक्त चीजों का इस्तेमाल भी बढ़ गया है। जैसे खेती के लिए केमिकल पदार्थों का इस्तेमाल, नहाने से लेकर कपड़े और बर्तन धोने के लिए भी केमिकल युक्त चीजों का इस्तेमाल हो रहा है।
5. बिजली के इस्तेमाल में कमी- बिजली की जरूरत बढ़ रही है लेकिन बिजली बर्बाद करने से भी प्राकृतिक संसाधनों का दोहन हो रहा है। दरअसल, बिजली बनाने के लिए कोयले का इस्तेमाल होता है। इसके अलावा कई प्राकृतिक गैसों से भी बिजली बनती है। ऐसे में पर्यावरण प्रदूषण बढ़ता है।

“राजस्व विभाग ने साइबर तहसील पहल से राज्य में भूमि नामांतरण सेवाओं को पूरी तरह से डिजिटल, प्रभावी और नागरिकों के अनुकूल बनाकर एक बड़ा बदलाव किया है। इस पहल के माध्यम से अब तक 1 लाख 50 हजार से अधिक प्रकरणों का निपटारा किया जा चुका है। साइबर तहसील के अंतर्गत नामांतरण की प्रक्रिया संपत्ति रजिस्ट्री के समय ही स्वचालित रूप से शुरू हो जाती है, जिससे अलग से आवेदन करने की आवश्यकता समाप्त हो गई है। पहले जहां इस प्रक्रिया में औसतन 70 दिन लगते थे, वहीं अब मात्र 20 दिनों में प्रकरणों का निपटारा हो रहा है। सम्पूर्ण प्रक्रिया ऑनलाइन होने से नागरिकों को तहसील कार्यालय जाने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। सभी सेवाएं जैसे सार्वजनिक सूचना, आपत्ति दर्ज कराना और प्रमाणित आदेश प्राप्त करना, एसएमएस, ईमेल और व्हाट्सएप के माध्यम से डिजिटल रूप से उपलब्ध होती हैं। इस पहल ने नागरिकों के समय और खर्च दोनों में महत्वपूर्ण बचत सुनिश्चित की है और पारदर्शिता को भी बढ़ावा दिया है, इससे नागरिक अपने नामांतरण मामले की स्थिति को ऑनलाइन ट्रैक कर सकते हैं। साइबर तहसील ने क्षेत्रीय सीमाओं को समाप्त कर दिया है और केंद्रीकृत प्रणाली से प्रकरणों का आवंटन साइबर तहसीलदारों को राउंड-रॉबिन पद्धति से किया जाता है, जिससे निष्पक्ष और त्वरित निपटारा सुनिश्चित होता है। साइबर तहसील जैसे नवाचारों से प्रशासनिक दक्षता में भी सुधार हुआ है। क्षेत्रीय तहसीलदार अब जटिल और विवादित प्रकरणों पर अधिक ध्यान केंद्रित कर सकते हैं। प्रदेश की 13 साइबर तहसीलदारों द्वारा 1 हजार 364 न्यायालयों का प्रबंधन किया जा रहा है, इससे बड़ी संख्या में प्रकरणों का निपटान हो रहा है। तहसील कार्यालयों पर नामांतरण प्रकरणों के कार्यभार में 25 प्रतिशत तक की कमी आई है। साइबर तहसील पहल को राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर भी व्यापक सराहना मिली है। आंध्र प्रदेश, उत्तराखंड, बिहार और झारखंड जैसे राज्यों ने भी इस प्रणाली को अपनाने में रुचि दिखाई है। इसे मसूरी स्थित लालबहादुर शास्त्री राष्ट्रीय प्रशासन अकादमी और भूमि संवाद कार्यक्रमों में सर्वश्रेष्ठ कार्यों के रूप में प्रदर्शित किया गया है। परिक्रमा के लिए भोपाल से मैं संजीव शर्मा”

Animation Film Makers Competition 42 finalists of the Animation Film Makers Competition (AFC) which was held as part of the ‘Create in India Challenge Season-1’ of WAVES 2025 has been announced. Our correspondent reports that these projects that have made it for the final round focus on original storytelling across the entire spectrum of animation, encompassing traditional animation, VFX, Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR), and virtual production.
“The selection of the top-42 finalists was the result of a rigorous nine-month evaluation process led by the Dancing Atoms team, in collaboration with the WAVES team. The dedicated efforts of the participants were complemented by the discerning expertise of an esteemed panel of national and international jury members Speaking to Akashvani News, one of the finalists from Mumbai, Shweta Marathe shared details of her project.
These 42 talented participants will now have the opportunity to pitch their original projects during the WAVE Summit from 1st of May 2025. The top 3 winners will each receive a cash prize of up to INR 5 Lakhs.This is Prarthna from Mumbai for Parikrama”

अयोध्या के श्रीराम जन्मभूमि मंदिर के निर्माण कार्य में तेजी देखने को मिल रही है। राम मंदिर निर्माण कार्य अंतिम चरण की ओर बढ़ रहा है। श्री राम जन्मभूमि तीर्थ क्षेत्र ट्रस्ट के महासचिव चंपत राय ने बताया कि मंदिर के प्रथम तल पर राम दरबार और परकोटा में छह मंदिरों की स्थापना होगी, जिसका कार्य 30 अप्रैल तक पूरा करने का प्रयास है।
“अयोध्या में श्री राम मंदिर को भव्य और दिव्य बनाने के लिए मंदिर ट्रस्ट लगातार प्रयास कर रहा है। यात्रियों को बेहतर सुविधा देने के साथ ही मंदिर में आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं को भगवान श्री राम और सनातन संस्कृति से जुड़े देवी देवताओं के भी दर्शन हो सकें, इसके लिए प्रथम तल पर राम दरबार और परकोटा में 6 मंदिरों की स्थापना की जा रही है। इनमें सूर्य, भगवती, अन्नपूर्णा, शिवलिंग, गणपति और हनुमान जी की मूर्तियां शामिल हैं। राम जन्मभूमि तीर्थ क्षेत्र ट्रस्ट के महासचिव ने बताया कि कुल 18 प्रतिमाओं की स्थापना का काम संपन्न करवाया जाएगा। 30 अप्रैल को अक्षय तृतीया के शुभ अवसर पर राम दरबार को प्रथम मंजिल के गर्भगृह में स्थापित कर दिया जाएगा।
मूर्तियों की स्थापना के बाद जून में सभी मूर्तियों की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा की जाएगी जिसके लिए तीन दिवसीय समारोह आयोजित किया जाएगा। चंपत राय ने बताया कि इसके साथ ही मंदिर के प्रथम तल का काम पूरा हो जाएगा और पावर क्रेन भी इसके बाद हटा ली जाएंगी

Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, has announced the final results of its civil services exam 2024. The UPSC has recommended a total number of 1009 candidates for appointment, with 725 men and 284 women. The top 25 candidates comprise 11 women and 14 men with the top five candidates comprising three women and two men. Shakti Dubey has secured the first position in the Civil Services Examination, 2024. The written test of the Civil Services Examination was held by the Union Public Service Commission in September last year, followed by interviews for Personality Test held in between January and April this year.
