विश्व हीमोफीलिया दिवस दुनियाभर में (World Hemophilia Day 2025) हर साल 17 अप्रैल को मनाया जाता है। यह हीमोफिलिया की समस्या के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक करने के लिए मनाया जाता है। हीमोफिलिया एक गंभीर बीमारी है, इस समस्या में शरीर में ब्लड डिसऑर्डर की समस्या होती है। इसमें लोगों के शरीर में ब्लड क्लॉट की प्रक्रिया बंद हो जाती है। लेकिन समय से जांच होने और इलाज मिलने पर इस समस्या को काफी हद तक कंट्रोल किया जा सकता है।
हमने एम्स के हेमेटोलॉजी विभाग के एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर डॉ. मुकुल अग्रवाल से बात की उन्होंने हमें इस बीमारी का निदान बताया:
हीमोफिलिया (Hemophilia) की बीमारी 2 तरह की होती है, जो ए और बी प्रकार होता है। बता दें, हीमोफिलिया ए एक आम प्रकार की समस्या है, जिसमें खून के थक्कों को जमाने वाले प्रोटीन की कमी के कारण हो सकता है। वहीं, हीमोफिलिया बी में लोगों के शरीर में थक्का बनाने वाले कारकों की कमी के कारण होती है। इस दोनों समस्या से पीड़ित लोगों को लंबे समय तक ब्लीडिंग की समस्या हो सकती है। इसके अलावा, इस बीमारी के कारण लोगों को हड्डियों के स्वास्थ्य पर बुरा असर होता है।
The 2025 theme, “Access for All: Women and Girls Bleed Too,” is a call to action for the global community to recognize and address the specific needs of women and girls with bleeding disorders (WGBDs).
Despite advances in care and treatment, these individuals often remain overlooked or underserved. The theme shines a spotlight on this disparity and brings much-needed attention to the challenges they face, including:
1.Underdiagnosis: Hemophilia is commonly associated with males, leading to the belief that women cannot have this condition. However, women can be carriers, and some may also experience bleeding symptoms similar to those of men.
2.One of the greatest challenges for women and girls with bleeding disorders is the lack of awareness among both the general public and healthcare professionals.
हीमोफीलिया की बीमारी में लोगों को शरीर में कुछ लक्षण दिखाई देते हैं। इन लक्षणों को नजरअंदाज न करते हुए, डॉक्टर से तुरंत सलाह लेनी चाहिए, ताकि किसी भी तरह की बीमारी होने पर समय से इलाज मिल सके।

In a landmark development for Indian adventure tourism, the Ladakh Ski and Snowboard Association has identified a stunning new summer skiing destination at Umba Peak, nestled at an altitude of 4800 meters.
This pristine high-altitude terrain, ideal for downhill and heli-skiing, adds another jewel to Ladakh’s crown, offering enthusiasts a rare opportunity to ski amidst blooming apricot orchards and majestic Himalayan views.
This discovery, following the earlier recognition of Manman Top, cements Ladakh’s position as India’s only region with skiing opportunities extending from January through June—transforming it into a year-round adventure haven.
Er Syed Murtaza, a prominent voice in Ladakh’s skiing community, hailed the announcement as a breakthrough. “This is not just about skiing—this is about experiencing Ladakh’s full beauty. Imagine skiing in May with snow under your feet and apricot blossoms all around. Nowhere else in India can offer this,” he said. The exploration team was led by professional skier and coach Syed Shamshudin, who emphasized the terrain’s suitability for heli-skiing. “This natural slope is a dream for heli-skiing lovers. The altitude, snow quality, and breathtaking scenery—including blooming apricot trees—make it a unique and unforgettable experience,” he shared.
Further enhancing its credentials, the Indian Institute of Skiing and Mountaineering (IISM) has previously conducted professional skiing courses in the Umba region, certifying its safety and suitability for adventure activities and training.
With efforts like these, Ladakh is fast evolving into a global hotspot for adventure sports—offering untouched alpine terrain, extended ski seasons, and the rare experience of skiing among apricot blossoms in the lap of the Himalayas. For Parikarma this is Anayat Ali from Kargil Ladakh

Two Hyderabad based – startups could find place in top seven finalists of the Anti-Piracy challenge under the Create in India initiative of the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit 2025 (WAVES) with their innovative solutions. The finalists were selected from a pool of 1,600 contestants, which included startups, technology providers, research institutions, and students from across the country. Under the Create in India initiative of the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit 2025 (WAVES), the Anti-Piracy challenge saw about 1600 registrations. Out of them, 132 concrete ideas have been submitted from various startups, technology providers, research institutions and students from across the country. Among the promising anti-piracy solutions, seven have been shortlisted, from Mumbai, Pune, Noida, Agra and Siliguri besides two from Hyderabad. All of them focussed on advanced technology like fingerprinting, watermarking, blockchain and steganography.
Bharath Nalubola, Product Specialist at Nuronics along with Arun Kumar Kanikapati submitted an idea of a comprehensive video protection suit. When contacted, Bharath explained that Nuronics, an artificial intelligence company, introduced an advanced anti-piracy SaaS solution, nTrack, developed in the country. He said it offers a powerful combination of features including dynamic watermarking, watermark extraction, piracy detection, and others— all tailored for both live and pre-recorded video content. He further said it helps identifying the exact source of leaked content and enables quick and effective action to protect creative assets. He says in an era where streaming is rapidly evolving across platforms and social media, nTrack can be a smart and reliable shield against piracy.

Domestic benchmark indices rebounded sharply today after a weak opening, led by strong buying in financial stocks, firm global cues, and sustained foreign fund inflows. The 30-share index at the Bombay Stock Exchange, Sensex, jumped 1509 points or 1.96 percent to close at 78,553. The National Stock Exchange, Nifty-50, gained 414 points or 1.77 percent to settle at 23,851. Both indices closed in positive territory for the fourth consecutive session.
In the global crude market, Brent Crude was trading 0.90 percent up at 66 dollars and 44 cents per barrel and WTI Crude was trading over one percent up at 63 dollars and 18 cents per barrel, when reports last came in.

Radhakrishnan was a distinguished personality, an ideologist, a philosopher, a teacher, a writer, and a great thinker, who had a strong knowledge of metaphysics and idealism. He became the President of India after serving a diplomatic career.
In the distinguishing career of Radhakrishnan, the foremost part he played was as a teacher. He started as a teacher and always considered teaching the most eminent and valued profession. His admirers and students value his ideologies and knowledge as a source of learning. Radhakrishnan was a great teacher who developed a strong connection with the students during the tenure he spent in the college.

हिन्दी के जाने-माने उपन्यासकार, कहानीकार, नाटककार एवं व्यंग्यकार नरेन्द्र कोहली की भी आज पुण्य तिथि है। नरेन्द्र कोहली ने संस्मरण, निबंध, पत्र आदि में भी अपनी रचनात्मकता प्रस्तुत की है। साथ ही आलोचनात्मक साहित्य में उन्होंने अपनी लेखनी चलाई। हिन्दी साहित्य में ‘महाकाव्यात्मक उपन्यास’ की विधा को प्रारंभ करने का श्रेय नरेंद्र कोहली को जाता है। पौराणिक एवं ऐतिहासिक चरित्रों की गुत्थियों को सुलझाते हुए उनके माध्यम से आधुनिक सामाज की समस्याओं एवं उनके समाधान को समाज के समक्ष प्रस्तुत करना कोहली के साहित्य की एक विशेषता है।

ब्रिगेडियर भवानी सिंह जयपुर के महाराजा थे। बंग्ला मुक्ति संग्राम के लिए भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच लडे गए 1971 के युद्ध में उनके योगदान के लिए 1972 में ‘महावीर चक्र’ प्रदान किया गया। महाराजा सवाई भवानी सिंह 24 जून 1970 से 28 दिसम्बर 1971 तक जयपुर के महाराजा रहे। इसके बाद उन्होंने भारतीय सेना में सेवा की। उनको सेवानिवृत्त होने के बाद ब्रिगेडियर के पद से सम्मानित किया गया।

सुप्रसिद्ध मलयालम साहित्यकार तकाजी शिवशंकरा पिल्लै की आज जयंती है। मलयालम के अग्रणी लेखकों में शुमार तकाजी शिवशंकरा पिल्लै ने अपने लेखन के माध्यम से ग़रीबों की समस्याओं को समाज के सामने रखा। अपने कहानी संग्रहों में उन्होंने व्यक्ति को अपने समय की विषम परिस्थितियों से संघर्ष करते हुए प्रस्तुत किया है। तकाजी शिवशंकरा पिल्लै के द्वारा रचित उपन्यास ‘चेम्मीन’ के लिये उन्हें सन 1957 में ‘साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार’ और फिर सन 1984 में ‘ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार’ से सम्मानित किया गया। यह सम्मान साहित्य जगत में उनके कृतृत्व का भी सम्मान है।
Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai was a renowned Indian novelist and short story writer from Kerala, known for his vivid portrayal of the lives and struggles of the people of his home state. He was a master storyteller, whose works captured the essence of Kerala’s culture, society, and history. Through his writing, he gave voice to the marginalized sections of society, shedding light on issues of caste, class, and gender. His most famous work, “Chemmeen”, is considered a classic of Indian literature and has been adapted into a successful film and stage production. Known for his works such as Kayar (Coir, 1978) and Chemmeen (Prawns, 1956), Pillai was a recipient of the Padma Bhushan, the third highest Indian civilian award. He was also a recipient of the Jnanpith Award, India’s highest literary award, awarded in 1984 for the novel Kayar.

Geet is one of the giants of the modern era. Born in Delhi and raised in Ahmedabad, he won his first major title in 1982 when he defeated Michael Ferreira in the final of the Indian National Championship.
In 1992 at the World Professional Championship, Geet compiled a break of 1276 in around 80 minutes which was the highest break for five decades. Geet remains one of only five players to compile a four figure break in the modern era.
Geet is a major sporting hero in India and is a recipient of many sports awards, including the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, the Padma Shri, the Arjuna Award and the K.K. Birla Award. In 2005, he authored a motivational book called Success vs Joy. Geet also co-founded Olympic Gold Quest, a Foundation for the Promotion of Sports in India.
