In the national capital, devotees are thronging the Hanuman temples since early morning to offer prayers. Heavy rush of people is being seen at the ‘Pracheen Hanuman Temple’ at Connaught Place in New Delhi. ‘Hanuman Chalisa’, ‘Sundar Kand ‘and ‘Akhand Ramayan’ are being recited at the temples on the occasion.

Well if you are wondering why we are remebering Yuri Gagarin, let me tell you that the General Assembly, in its resolution declared 12th of April as the International Day of Human Space Flight.
This was done to celebrate each year, the beginning of the space era for mankind, reaffirming the important contribution of space science and technology in achieving sustainable development goals and increasing the well-being of States and peoples, as well as ensuring the realization of their aspiration to maintain outer space for peaceful purposes.

Department of tourism, Union Territory of Ladakh is organizing Apricot Blossom Festival 2025 in selected apricot belt villages across Ladakh. A series of events are going to take place in all the selected villages till 4th May. This festival is a new event introduced in the tourism calendar of Ladakh in the Spring season to promote rural tourism as well as eco- tourism in the region.
“Ladakh Apricot Blossom Festival 2025 commenced from 10th April at village Skurbuchan, district Leh with a grand opening attracting not only the local population, but tourists across the country who witnessed the first event of the festival. A series of activities were organized during the day-long event, promoting the local artisans, local Ladakhi cuisine, folk & dance, tourism and handicrafts in a serene environment. Indian Army posted near the village also joined the festival and boosted the morale of locals by felicitating the locals for their contributions in the victory of Kargil War 1999. The Apricot Blossom Festival in Ladakh is inspired from the Cherry Blossom Festival of Meghalaya to celebrate the spring season and to attract the tourists and make Ladakh, another attractive feature of the tourism season so that it is an extended tourist season round the year. In district Kargil, the festival season started from village Sanjak and was inaugurated yesterday on 11th April, in a grand manner showcasing the rich cultural heritage and promoting the local cuisine. The celebrations were organized in an open field surrounded by Apricot flowers which added to the beauty of the festival. For Parikrama, this is Yangchan Dolma, From Leh, Ladakh.”

“गांवों में लोगों को घर में शुद्ध जल मिले इसके लिए सरकार की हर घर जल योजना में उत्तर प्रदेश में मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार ने गंभीरता से प्रयास किए है बुंदेलखंड जैसे पानी के लिए तरसने वाले क्षेत्रों के गांवों में भी अब नल के जरिए पानी लोगों के घर तक पहुंच रहा है ..प्रदेश के जल शक्ति मंत्री स्वतंत्र देव सिंह ने कहा कि सरकार का यही प्रयास है कि हर घर शुद्ध जल पहुंचे इसके लिए सरकार के साथ ही अधिकारी और आम जनमानस का भी सहयोग मिल रहा है इतना ही नहीं हर गांव में ग्रामीण जलापूर्ति व नमामि गंगे विभाग की तरफ से 18 लोगों को रोजगार भी मुहैया कराया जा रहा है। हर गांव में पांच महिलाएं एफएचटीसी कनेक्शन का कार्य कर रही हैं, जबकि प्लंबर, फिटर, इलेक्ट्रिशियन के रूप में स्किल ट्रेनिंग कर 13 लोगों को रोजगार दिया जा रहा है। सरकार का प्रयास है कि हर घर शुद्ध जल पहुंचे जिससे लोगों का स्वास्थ्य भी ठीक रहें और उन्हें पेयजल के लिए भटकना ना पड़े| परिक्रमा के लिए आकाशवाणी लखनऊ से शैलेन्द्र शर्मा”

Rana Sanga-
We are also remembering today Rana Sanga (12 April 1482 – 30 January 1528), he was the Maharana of Mewar from 1508 to 1528 CE. A member of the Sisodia dynasty, he controlled parts of present-day Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Sindh, and Uttar Pradesh with his capital at Chittorgarh. In his military career, Sanga achieved a series of successes against several neighboring sultanates. Among his great victories were the multiple defeats inflicted upon the Lodi dynasty of Delhi at Khatoli, Dholpur, and Ranthambore. Nearly all the Rajput’s chiefs owed their allegiance to him. He also marched against the invading forces of Babur, who founded the Mughal Empire.
