And by 2030, passenger EV sales are projected to go from 90,000 units to a whopping 960,000 units.

In Arunachal Pradesh, the Department of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in collaboration with the National Institute of Mountaineering and Adventure Sports (NIMAS) Aqua Excellence Centre, Bhalukpong, has launched a short-term training program under the Kaushal Vikas Yojana as part of the Vibrant Village Program in West Kameng District.
This initiative aims to provide specialized skills to youths from various districts promoting self-employment and boosting the local tourism industry. The training program, which spans one to two months, offers courses in Tour Guide, Adventure Travel Guide (High Altitude), Camp Helper, and Mountain Cuisine Chef. Smt. Bullo Mamu, Secretary of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, said that the department’s commitment is to fostering self-reliance through tourism.
The program will run for two month for tour guides and one month for others, ensuring comprehensive skill development. In Telangana, the district administration of Rajanna Sircilla district has launched a unique plan to provide jobs for people with disabilities and transgender individuals. A 24 by 7 petrol bunk, established with 2.5 crore rupees in government funding facilitated by local public representatives now operates near the Government Medical College under Sircilla Municipality.
The Rajanna Sircilla district administration and the state government have initiated for setting up a petrol pump at a cost of 2 crore 50 lakh rupees by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited facilitating Divyangs and Transgenders with employment. The petrol pump is supervised by district collector Sandeep Kumar Jha and 24 employees including a transgender person are earning a monthly salary of about 18 thousand rupees with potential increments based on revenue. The petrol bunk sells over one lakh rupees worth of fuel daily and has built a strong reputation for quality and customer trust. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, highlighting that the initiative promotes their financial independence and social inclusion. Mohan, a Divyang person from Kollur village said
