वे उत्साहपूर्वक अपने स्कूलों के फिर से खुलने और अपनी नई पोशाक, नए बैग जूते या नए कोर्स का उपयोग करने का इंतजार कर रहे हैं स्कूलो में नए अकैडमिक सेशन की शुरुआत पिछले हफ्ते हो चुकी है लेकिन बच्चों को अभी तक किताबें नहीं मिल पाई हैं। एनसीईआरटी की किताबों की मार्केट में भारी कमी नजर आ रही है जिसकी वजह से पैरेंट्स एक दुकान से दूसरी दुकान किताबों की तलाश में भटक रहे हैं।
केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (CBSE) ने पिछले महीने क्लास 3 और क्लास 6 के सिलेबस में बदलाव का ऐलान किया था। सीबीएसई के इस फैसले के बाद अब NCERT ने नई किताबें जारी करने की दिशा में कदम बढ़ा दिया है। इस दिक्कत पर एनसीईआरटी का कहना है कि किताबों की कमी है, मगर जल्द ही सारी किताबें बाजार में आ जाएंगी। अगले हफ्ते सभी क्लासों की 1.5 करोड़ किताबें बाजार में आ रही हैं।
In a recent announcement, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has communicated that the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will be introducing new syllabi and textbooks for classes 3 and 6 for the academic year 2024-25, starting April 1. The rest of the classes will continue with the existing curriculum and textbooks.
NCERT has said that it is making every effort to provide school books on time. In a social media post, it said, about 33 lakh books of classes 1, 2, 7, 8, 10 and 12 have been printed and delivered to bookshops. NCERT said, the new syllabus books for classes 3 and 6 will be published this month and in May. It said, books for classes 4, 5, 9 and 11 will be available in the market this month. NCERT requested all students and parents to be patient and not get worried.
The response of NCERT came amid reports of non-availability of school books in many states.
बता दें कि नया पाठ्यक्रम की योजना NCERT के द्वारा बनाई गई थी। एनसीईआरटी की ओर से कहा गया था कि किताबें बदलने की वजह यह बताई गई कि कक्षा 3 तैयारी की शुरुआत का प्रतीक है तो वहीं कक्षा 6 मध्य चरण की शुरुआत का प्रतीक है, इसलिए सुधार की आवश्यकता को देखते हुए बदलाव का फैसला किया गया है।
एनसीईआरटी के चीफ बिजनेस मैनेजर विपिन दीवान कहते हैं, किताबों का बड़ा लॉट पहले ही बाजार में पहुंच चुका है। हालांकि, किताबों की अभी कुछ कमी है। हमारे सर्वर की तकनीकी दिक्कत की वजह से कुछ देरी हुई है, डिमांड के हिसाब सप्लाई कुछ कम है। हालांकि, जल्द ही सभी क्लासेज की किताबें बाजार में होंगे और पैरंट्स तक पहुंचेंगी। क्लास 1 और 2 की किताबों के लिए वह बताते हैं कि ये किताबें भी जल्द से जल्द बाजार में पहुंच रही है।
so no need to get panic as these books will be available in the market soon and most probably by the next month as told by NCERT till then belive in sharing and caring.

“A significant meeting took place under the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques Act, 1994, chaired by Dr Anusha Lama, the Mission Director of the National Health Mission (NHM), Sikkim on 2nd April at the conference hall of the Health Secretariat, Dr. Anusha Lama led the State Advisory Committee meeting, addressing crucial aspects of reproductive health. Joined by Dr. Anita Bhutia, Director of Reproductive Child Health, and Dr. Manisha Rai, Joint Director of RCH, the committee discussed amendments to the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act, 1971, and its connections with the PC&PNDT Dr. Manisha Rai highlighted the importance of distinguishing between the two acts, emphasizing their unique roles in addressing reproductive health issues. She underscored the need for clarity to prevent challenges in implementation and enforcement. Dr Anusha Lama stressed the significance of raising awareness about adolescent health, including access to safe abortion services. She proposed brainstorming sessions to develop strategies for stricter regulations on abortion-related products and educational campaigns to combat misuse. Moreover, she advocated for changing attitudes towards abortion and adolescent reproductive health through training programs and advocacy efforts. Looking ahead, Dr. Lama proposed initiatives such as a confidential helpline for women seeking information on abortion services and utilizing social media for awareness campaigns. These initiatives aim to strengthen awareness and accessibility to reproductive health services while addressing challenges such as the inappropriate sale of abortion-related drugs and changing attitudes among healthcare providers and the public. UTTARAKHAND-HARIDWAR CONSTITUENCY
In Uttarakhand, elections will be held on all five Lok Sabha seats in the first phase, where 83 lakh 37 thousand 914 voters of the state will decide the fate of the 55 candidates in the elections. Our correspondent reports that the Haridwar Lok Sabha seat emerges as the focal point of attention, with a record-breaking 14 candidates vying for victory. The stage is set for a fierce electoral battle as contenders vie for the trust and support of the electorate.
“The Haridwar parliamentary constituency is gearing up for a high-stakes electoral showdown with a record-breaking 14 candidates throwing their hats into the ring. Among the key contenders are Trivendra Singh Rawat from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Virendra Rawat from the Congress, and Jamil Ahmed from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). 7 independent candidates including MLA Umesh Kumar from Haridwar’s Khanpur Assembly seat have made the elections more interesting by staking claim on this seat. A total of 21 candidates filed nominations from the Haridwar parliamentary constituency, out of which seven nominations were found incomplete and subsequently rejected. It may be recalled that there are 14 assembly constituencies in the Haridwar Lok Sabha seat and 20 lakh 35 thousand 726 voters will decide the fate of the candidates in the elections. To facilitate seamless voting, authorities have established 2 thousand 318 polling stations across the Haridwar seat, ensuring accessibility and convenience for voters on Election Day. In the last Lok Sabha elections, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank of the BJP emerged victorious from this seat, defeating his nearest rival, Ambrish Kumar of the Congress, by 2 lakh 58 thousand 729 votes. There are more than nineteen lakhs voters in this constituency, while the number of voters above eighty five years of age is more than ten thousand. Security forces are doing the route marches to build confidence among voters. Police and various others government agencies are seizing illegal cash, liquor etc. Naka checkings are erected at many points. Election Commission has already started trainings for vote workers and encouraging people so that more and more people come forward for voting on that day. आज प्रसिद्ध शास्त्रीय गायिका किशोरी अमोनकर की पुण्य तिथि है। किशोरी अमोनकर ने अपने शास्त्रीय संगीतके बल पर दशकों तक हिन्दुस्तान के संगीत प्रेमियों के दिल में अपनी जगह बनाये रखी। किशोरी अमोनकर का जन्म 10 अप्रैल 1932 को मुंबई में हुआ था। किशोरी अमोनकर जयपुर-अतरौली घराने की प्रमुख गायिका थीं। किशोरी अमोनकर की मां एक सुप्रसिद्ध गायिका थीं, जिनका नाम मोघूबाई कुर्दीकर था। उन्होंने कई घरानों के संगीत शिक्षकों से प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त किया। जिनमे प्रमुख रूप से आगरा घराने के अनवर हुसैन खान, ग्वालियर घराने के शरदचंद्र अरोल्कर और बालकृष्णबुवा पर्वतकार शामिल थे। किशोरी अमोनकर की प्रस्तुतियां ऊर्जा और सौन्दर्य से भरी हुई होती थीं। उनकी प्रत्येक प्रस्तुति प्रशंसकों सहित संगीत की समझ न रखने वालों को भी मंत्रमुग्ध कर देती थी। उनकी संगीत प्रस्तुति प्रमुख रूप से पारंपरिक रागों, जैसे जौनपुरी, पटट् बिहाग, अहीर पर होती थी। इन रागों के अलावा किशोरी अमोनकर ठुमरी, भजन और खयाल भी गाती थीं।
किशोरी अमोनकर सन 1952 से आकाशवाणी के लिए गाना प्रारम्भ किया। किशोरी अमोनकर को 1985 में संगीत नाटक अकादमी पुरस्कार 1987 पद्म भूषण और 2002 में पद्म विभूषण से सम्मानित किया गया।

आज प्रसिद्ध पर्त्रकार और साहित्यकार राधेश्याम खेमका की भी पुण्यतिथि है। राधेश्याम खेमका ‘गीता प्रेस ट्रस्ट बोर्ड’ के अध्यक्ष रहे थे। उन्होंने 38 सालों तक गीता प्रेस द्वारा प्रकाशित मासिक पत्रिका ‘कल्याण’ का सम्पादन किया। साहित्य और शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में उनके योगदान को देखते हुए भारत सरकार ने 2022 में उन्हें देश के दूसरे सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मान पद्म विभूषण से सम्मानित किया।
राधेश्याम खेमका का जन्म 1935 में बिहार के मुंगेर जिले में एक मारवाड़ी परिवार में हुआ था। साल 1956 से राधेश्याम खेमका अपने परिवार के साथ स्थायी रूप से वाराणसी में रहे। उन्होंने बनारस हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय से संस्कृत में स्नातकोत्तर किया और साहित्यरत्न की उपाधि भी प्राप्त की। उनके संपादन में कल्याण के 40 वार्षिक विशेषांक, 460 संपादित अंक प्रकाशित हुए। इस दौरान कल्याण की नौ करोड़ 54 लाख 46 हजार प्रतियां प्रकाशित हुईं। कल्याण में पुराणों एवं लुप्त हो रहे संस्कारों व कर्मकांड की पुस्तकों का प्रामाणिक संस्करण भी राधेश्याम खेमका के संपादन में ही प्रकाशित हुआ।

आज भारत के पहले ‘फ़ील्ड मार्शल’ सैम मानेकशॉ की भी जयंती है। उनका पूरा नाम ‘सैम होर्मूसजी फ़्रेमजी जमशेदजी मानेकशॉ’ था सैम मानेकशॉ का जन्म 3 अप्रैल 1914 को अमृतसर में एक पारसी परिवार में हुआ था। वे देहरादून के इंडियन मिलिट्री एकेडमी के पहले बैच के लिए चुने गए 40 छात्रों में से एक थे।
Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, also known as Sam Bahadur (“Sam the Brave”), was born on this day in 1914. He was the chief of the army staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971and the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal. His active military career spanned four decades, beginning with service in World War II. Manekshaw became the seventh chief of army staff in 1969. Under his command, Indian forces conducted victorious campaigns against Pakistan in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, which led to the creation of Bangladesh in December 1971. He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan and the Padma Bhushan, India’s second and third-highest civilian awards.

आज हिंदी साहित्यका निर्मल वर्मा की भी जयंती है। निर्मल वर्मा का जन्म तीन अप्रॅल 1929 को शिमला में हुआ था। ( हिन्दी के आधुनिक साहित्यकारों में से एक थे। ‘रात का रिपोर्टर’, ‘एक चिथड़ा सुख’, ‘लाल टीन की छत’ और ‘वे दिन’ निर्मल वर्मा के चर्चित उपन्यास है। उनका अंतिम उपन्यास ‘अंतिम अरण्य’ 1990 में प्रकाशित हुआ था। उनकी सौ से अधिक कहानियाँ कई कहानी संग्रहों में प्रकाशित हुई। उन्हें 1999 में साहित्य में देश का सर्वोच्च सम्मान ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार दिया गया। साहित्य एवं शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में उनके योगदान के लिए पद्म भूषण पुरस्कार मूर्तिदेवी पुरस्कार और साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया ।

आज प्रसिद्ध साहित्यकार मन्नू भंडारी की भी जयंती है। मनु भंडारी का जन्म भानपुरा नगर में 1931 में हुआ था। मन्नू भंडारी ने कहानी और उपन्यास दोनों विधाओं में कलम चलाई । मनु भंडरी ने पढ़े लिखे आधुनिकता पसंद लोगों की दुखभरी प्रेमगाथा भी लिखी और वो उपन्यास था एक इंच मुस्कान उन्होंने ये उपन्यास राजेंद्र यादव के साथ लिखा।

Hariharan Anantha Subramani was born on this day in 1955. He is an Indian playback, bhajan and ghazal singer who predominantly sings in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu languages. He has also sung over 15,000 notable songs in 10 languages. He is an established ghazal singer and one of the pioneers of Indian fusion music.
In 2004, the Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri and is a two-time National Award winner. Hariharan, associating with Lesle Lewis, formed Colonial Cousins, a two-member band.
