South South Cooperation दक्षिण के देशों और लोगों के बीच एकजुटता की अभिव्यक्ति है जो उनकी राष्ट्रीय भलाई, उनकी राष्ट्रीय और सामूहिक आत्मनिर्भरता और सतत विकास के लिए 2030 तक के एजेंडे सहित अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर सहमत विकास लक्ष्यों की प्राप्ति में योगदान देना है।
दुनिया भर में हर साल 12 सितंबर को United Nations Day for South-South Cooperation मनाया जाता है। यह दिन दक्षिण के क्षेत्रों और देशों द्वारा हर वर्ष में किये गए आर्थिक, राजनीतिक, सामाजिक विकास को चिन्हित करने के उद्देश्य से मनाया जाता है।
इस दिवस को मनाने के पीछे और एक महत्वपूर्ण कारण है। दरसल विकासशील देशों में पारस्परिक सहयोग को बढ़ावा देने के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र के प्रयासों को भी उजागर करने का काम यह दिन करता है। South South Cooperation के माध्यम से, विकासशील देश अपने विकास लक्ष्यों को पूरा करने के लिए ज्ञान, कौशल, विशेषज्ञता और संसाधन साझा करते हैं।
History
The first International Day for South-South Cooperation was observed in 2011. To highlight the importance of South-South cooperation, the General Assembly in its resolution 58/220 decided to observe the United Nations Day for South-South Cooperation on 12 September every year. The date commemorates the adoption in 1978 of the Buenos Aires Plan of Action for Promoting and Implementing Technical Cooperation among Developing Countries (BAPA).
Theme of the year
This UN office is in charge of promoting the International Day of South-South Cooperation, which this year shares the theme “A better tomorrow through South-South Cooperation.”
It is a chance to assess advancements and emphasize both opportunities and challenges for cooperation between countries in the Global South, along with new trends. During United Nations Day week, there will be a chance to highlight significant South-South collaboration actions and initiatives by Member States, the UN System, the private sector, and civil society in tackling the most urgent goals of the 2030 Agenda. It is a chance to delve further into different regions and examine the advancement of South-South cooperation in achieving regional and global objectives, aiming to pave the way for a more sustainable and inclusive future.
इस आयोजन का मुख्य उद्देश्य विकासशील देशों के बीच तकनिकी सहयोग को बढ़ावा देना और इसे लागू करना है। इसके लिए ब्यूनस आयर्स प्लान ऑफ़ एक्शन (BAPA) अपनाया गया और अब इसे दक्षिण सहयोग के मुख्य स्तंभों में से एक माना जाता है।

TARANG SHAKTI:
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today asserted that country’s defence sector is moving ahead rapidly with new resolve of self-reliant India. The Minister was speaking after witnessing an air show organized during the second phase of Tarang Shakti exercise, the largest multinational air exercise, underway at Jodhpur in Rajasthan today. The Defence Minister said, Tarang Shakti is aimed at showcasing country’s military capabilities and strengthening international cooperation among the participating nations. He called upon the friendly nations to elevate partnership to a new height in view of the evolving global challenges.
रक्षामंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने देश की बढ़ती सैन्य ताकत की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि भारत का रक्षा क्षेत्र आत्मनिर्भर भारत के नये संकल्प के साथ तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि पहले भारत रक्षा उपकरण आयात करता था, लेकिन अब 90 देशों को रक्षा उत्पाद निर्यात कर रहा है।

The National Sample Survey Office today held a conference in New Delhi on upcoming Enterprise Surveys around the country. The conference focused on engaging with various business associations and stakeholders to discuss surveys that will shape the understanding of India’s economic and business landscape.
Five major enterprise-related initiatives of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation were discussed at the conference. These initiatives include the Annual Survey of Industries, Annual Survey of Unincorporated Sector Enterprises, Annual Survey of Service Sector Enterprises, Capital Expenditure Survey, and the Economic Census.
NSSO Director General Geeta Singh Rathore said that these surveys are designed to provide a comprehensive picture of the non-agricultural sector of the economy on an annual basis and serve as a vital input for compiling GDP and GSDP figures, aiding in macroeconomic estimations.
Deputy Director General (Employment) in the Ministry of Labour and Employment Amit Nirmal said that the survey will provide a clear picture of the employment scenario in the country.
Confederation of Indian Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (CIMSME) President Mukesh Mohan Gupta said that the government, during the conference, sought suggestions from the industry. He recommended including data about stressed assets in the survey.
Nearly 150 participants, including representatives from about 70 business associations covering all major sectors, attended the conference.

हिमाचल प्रदेश देश भर में मशरूम उत्पादन के क्षेत्र में नौवें स्थान पर है। प्रदेश के सोलन को मशरूम सिटी के नाम से जाना जाता है। आज से लगभग 27 वर्ष पूर्व 1997 में इस शहर को यह नाम दिया गया। बीते 10 सितंबर को सोलन में राष्ट्रीय मशरूम मेले का आयोजन किया गया। मशरूम अनुसंधान निदेशालय सोलन देश का एक मात्र संस्थान है जिसके देश भर में 32 मशरूम समन्वयक परियोजना केंद्र है। यहां से मशरूम उत्पादन के गुर सीख कर विभिन्न राज्यों के किसान आर्थिकी सुदृढ कर दूसरों को रोजगार भी उपलब्ध करवा रहें हैं। सोलन के मशरूम अनुसंधान निदेशालय द्वारा अब तक मशरूम की कई किस्में विकसित की है जिनकी वैश्विक स्तर पर काफी मांग है। यहां विकसित कीड़ा जड़ी के नाम से प्रसिद्ध कार्डिसेप्स मशरूम अपनी कीमत के साथ साथ औषधीय गुणों के लिए भी विशेष पहचान बना चुकी है। निश्चित रूप से मशरूम उत्पादन के माध्यम से अनेक लोग अपनी आर्थिकी को सुदृढ़ में सक्षम हो रहें हैं। परिक्रमा के लिए आकाशवाणी शिमला से मै रितेश कपूर

An International travelling exhibition Vaccines Injecting Hope was inaugurated in Bengaluru the day before yesterday. It provides interesting insights into the world of vaccines and how it helped the world in countering the Covid Pandemic. The exhibition is curated by the National Council of Science Museums and Science Museum Group, London. The exhibition set up in Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum in Bengaluru will be on till February 28th next year. More from our Correspondent:
The exhibition Vaccines Injecting Hope in Vishweshwaraya museum is drawing a lot of children and science enthusiasts. It speaks about the arrival of new virus Corona and how a new vaccine was developed to counter it and how this vaccine underwent rigorous trials, its mass production and how systematically it was administered to the citizens. The National Institute of Virology in Pune played a vital role in the development and production of the vaccine. Dr Pragya Yadav who head the Institute was present during the inaugural of the exhibition and shares her views after visiting the exhibits.

बिहार में राशन कार्ड जांच के तहत आधार सत्यापन और ई -के वाई सी का बड़ा अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। राज्य में आठ करोड़ 35 लाख से अधिक सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली के उपभोक्ता है। पिछले चार साल से उनका e-KYC सत्यापन हो रहा है। अब तक पांच करोड़ से अधिक राशन कार्ड उपभोक्ताओं के e-KYC सत्यापन किये गये हैं। इसमें बड़ी संख्या में फर्जी लाभार्थियों का भी पता लगा है। उनके नाम भी लाभार्थियों की सूची से हटाए गए हैं । सुनते हैं हमारे संवाददाता की रिपोर्ट।
बिहार में तीन करोड 35 लाख से अधिक उपभोक्ता सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली के जरिए राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा योजना का लाभ ले रहे हैं। पिछले 4 साल में आधार सत्यापन और ई के वाई सी बायोमेट्रिक सत्यापन के कारण सोलह लाख 37 हजार फर्जी राशन कार्ड रदद किये गए हैं। खाद्य और उपभोक्ता संरक्षण विभाग के सचिव एन सरवण कुमार ने बताया कि आधार और ई के वाई सी बायोमेट्रिक सत्यापन के चलते बड़ी संख्या में फर्जी लाभार्थियों का पता चला है। 40 लाख फर्जी लाभार्थी पकड़े गए हैं जिनके नाम लाभार्थी सूची से हटा दिये गए हैं।
उन्होंने बताया कि वन नेशन, वन राशन कार्ड का फायदा बड़ी संख्या में प्रवासी बिहारी दूसरे राज्यों में उठा रहे हैं । इसके चलते बिहार के प्रवासी मजदूरों को अपना खाद्यान्न लेने में परेशानी नहीं हो रही है। दिल्ली के अलावा महाराष्ट्र गुजरात हरियाणा, जम्मू कश्मीर और अन्य राज्यों में लाभार्थी वन नेशन, वन राशन कार्ड का फायदा उठा रहे है। करीब 90 लाख लोगों ने इसके तहत दूसरे राज्यों में खाद्यान्न लिए हैं । वन नेशन, वन राशन कार्ड योजना समाज के कमजोर वर्ग के लोगों के लिए वरदान साबित हो रही है। परिक्रमा के लिए पटना से धर्मेंद्र कुमार राय ।

The voting for Dekho Apna Desh, People’s Choice 2024, is open until the 15th of this month. The aim of this nationwide poll is to engage with citizens to identify the most preferred tourist attraction sites and understand tourist perceptions across five categories which are Spiritual, Cultural Heritage, Nature, Wildlife, and Adventure. The “Others” category will allow citizens to vote for their personal favorites, which will help in discovering unexplored tourist places in the country. Citizens can access the voting portal from the Ministry of Tourism’s official website. This initiative was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in March this year in Srinagar. Prime Minister Modi has urged people to vote for their state’s biggest attraction, which can help the government allocate the necessary budget and build infrastructure around it. Under this initiative people can vote across five categories.. These categories are: ‘Spiritual’, ‘Cultural and Heritage’, ‘Nature and Wildlife’, ‘Adventure’ and ‘Other’. Besides the four main sections, the ‘Other’ category is where one can vote for their personal favorite destination and help uncover hidden tourism gems in the form of unexplored tourism attractions and destinations including Vibrant Border Villages, Wellness Tourism and Wedding Tourism. There is a dedicated portal wherein users can vote across categories through their mobile number and Email ID. The outcomes will help determine the Top Tourist Attractions of India which will receive substantial support and investments from key stakeholders. Through the initiative, the government seeks to promote the preservation of cultural landmarks and traditions, ensuring their longevity for future generations. India’s equity benchmark indices registered record high closing levels in today’s trading session amid positive global cues. Both the indices hit their fresh all-time highs with the BSE Sensex crossing 83,000 level mark and the NSE Nifty at 25,433 in the intra-day trade.
At the closing bell, the Sensex, which is pack of 30 companies, surged 1,439 points or 1.7 percent, at 82,962 and the NSE Nifty was up 395 points at 25,313 with a gain of more than one and half percent.
In the Global Crude Market, Brent Crude was trading 1.7 percent up at 71 dollar 85 cents per barrel, and WTI Crude gained nearly two percent to trade at 68 dollars and 58 cents per barrel, when the reports last came in.
In the Indian bullion market, at 4:00 pm, the 24 Karat Gold was trading at 72,290 rupees for 10 grams, Silver 999 fine, is trading at 84,880 per one kilogram.

In hockey, defending champions India defeated Korea 3-1 to register their fourth consecutive win at the Men’s Asian Champions Trophy tournament in Hulunbuir, China. Araijeet Singh Hundal and skipper Harmanpreet Singh were the goal-scorers for India against the Koreans. Korea’s lone goal came from Yang Jihun off a penalty corner. India had already secured a semifinal spot after defeating China and Japan before thrashing last year’s runner-up, Malaysia. India will next take on arch-rival Pakistan on Saturday in its final league match. The six-team tournament is being played in a round-robin format, with the top four teams qualifying for the semifinals on September 16. The final is scheduled for September 17.
