Dating back a few thousand years, theatre is a unique and interesting part of culture that has certainly evolved over time. The word “theatre” gets its roots from an ancient Greek word that means “a place for seeing”, and that definition continues to be meaningful today.

World Theatre Day in 2024 is now in its 62nd edition and for the occasion the message, entitled ‘Art is Peace’, was written by Jon Fosse, Norwegian writer and playwright, and strongly and profoundly recalls the founding values of theatre with respect to the global community, emphasizing the peaceful and universal value of art.

आज वर्ल्ड थिएटर डे के दिन हम अपने श्रोताओं को बता दें की फिलम जगत के कुछ जाने माने चेहरे शाहरुख खान, नवाजुद्दीन सिद्दीकी, नसीरुद्दीन शाह, रतना पाठक, शबाना आजमी, मनोज बाजपेयी, राजकुमार राव, राधिका आपटे, अनुपम खेर समेत कई दिग्गज अभिनेताओं ने करियर की शुरुआत थिएटर से की थी जो आज सुपरस्टार बन चुके हैं।
ये दिन थिएटर और स्टेज के सभी रूपों और अभिनेताओं को सम्मानित करने और बढ़ावा देने के लिए मनाया जाता है।
नसीरुद्दीन शाह और रतना पाठक दोनों ही बेहतरीन एक्टर्स हैं। दोनों पति पत्नी भी हैं। इन्होंने अपने एक्टिंग करियर की शुरुआत थिएटर से की थी। दोनों ने एक साथ नाटक का हिस्सा थे।
इरफान खान का नाम हिंदी सिनेमा जगत के दिग्गज अभिनेताओं में शुमार है। उन्होंने रविन्द्र मंच से अपने एक्टिंग करियर की शुरुआत की थी। भले ही वह अब इस दुनिया में नहीं है, लेकिन अपने अभिनय से उन्होंनेन्हों नेलोगों के मन में जो छाप छोड़ी है वो अमिट है।
ओम पुरी ने अपने एक्टिंग करियर में 300 से ज्यादा फिल्में की थीं। उन्होंने ने अपने नाम कई अवॉर्ड भी किए थे। बचपन में वह अपने पिता की तरह आर्मी में जाना चाहते थे, लेकिन बाद में उनकी रुचि थिएटर एक्टिंग में हुई।
शादी में जरूर आना’ के सत्तू से ‘स्त्री’ के बिक्की तक के किरदार में जान फूंक देने वाले राजकुमार राव फिल्मों में आने से पहले थिएटर करते थे।
थिएटर आर्टिस्ट की बात हो और शाहरुख खान का नाम न आए, ऐसा हो ही नहीं सकता। देश के सबसे बड़े स्टार शाहरुख खान ने भी अपने करियर की शुरुआत थिएटर से की थी।

Nagaland hosted the 3rd edition of North East Games 2024 from 18 to 23rd of March 2024. Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio was officially declared the Games open at Regional Centre for Sporting Excellence, Sovima . The six-day exhilarating games witnessed around 3000 participants from the eight Northeast region, competing in 15 disciplines. The events were held at 12 venues across three districts Chumoukedima, Dimapur and Kohima. The games included Archery, Athletics, Badminton Basketball, Boxing, football, lawn tennis, Pencak Silat, Sepaktakraw, table tennis, taekwondo, volleyball, wushu, wrestling and belt wrestling.

लोकसभा चुनाव के मध्य नजर गुजरात में राजकीय गतिविधियां तेज हुई है राज्य में सभी 26 सीटों के ऊपर एक ही चरण में 7 में को मतदान होगा इसके साथ-साथ राज्य की पांच विधानसभा सीटों के लिए भी उसी दिन उपचुनाव होंगे आगामी चुनाव को लेकर चुनाव आयोग द्वारा भी तैयारियां की जा रही है।
गुजरात में लोकसभा चुनाव की अधिसूचना 12 अप्रैल को जारी की जाएगी और 19 अप्रैल तक नामांकन भरे जा सकते हैं. राज्य की मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी पी भारती ने बताया की, राज्य के 50हजार 600 से अधिक मतदान केंद्रों पर मतदान किया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा की, शांतिपूर्ण चुनाव के लिए चुनाव आयोग द्वारा व्यापक प्रबंध किये जा रहे है. एक भी मतदाता इस प्रक्रिया में छूटे नहीं इसके लिए गिर के जंगल या आलिया बेट, शियाल बेट जैसे पानी से घेरे हुए दुर्गम इलाकों में भी मतदारों के लिए विशिष्ट मतदान केंद्र स्थापित किए जा रहे हैं।

भारतीय हिंदी सिनेमा की अभिनेत्री प्रिया राजवंश का आज इनकी भी पुण्यतिथि है। प्रिया राजवंश ने सिर्फ चेतन आनन्द की बनाई फ़िल्मों में ही अभिनय किया था। उन दिनों चेतन आनंद को अपनी नई फ़िल्म के लिए नए चेहरे की तलाश थी। चेतन आनंद हक़ीक़त नाम से फ़िल्म बनाना चाहते थे। उन्होंने प्रिया राजवंश से संपर्क किया और उन्हें फ़िल्म की नायिका के लिए चुन लिया गया।
