Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated to the nation and laid the foundation stone for various development projects worth seven thousand crore rupees at Chittorgarh in Rajasthan. He dedicated the Mehsana – Bhatinda – Gurdaspur Gas Pipeline that has been built at a cost of about 4500 crore rupees. The railway projects dedicated to the nation by the Prime Minister include the projects involving doubling of Chittorgarh – Neemuch Railway line and Kota – Chittorgarh Electrified Railway line. He also dedicated tourism facilities developed at Nathdwara under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme.
Addressing the program, Mr Modi said that projects being launched in Chittorgarh will have a transformative impact on infrastructure, connectivity and education in Rajasthan and further 'Ease of Living.'
The Prime Minister said, the development of backward areas has been the priority of his government. He said that the government has selected aspirational districts of the country where development work are being done. He said that many districts of Rajasthan are also being developed under this scheme.
The Prime Minister said that with the aim of giving priority to the underprivileged, the government has also started the Vibrant Village Programme, under which border villages are being developed.
The Prime Minister also offered prayers at Sanwariya Seth temple near Chittorgarh.

The Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation over two lakh houses built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna – Gramin and more than 13 hundred houses constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna-Urban at a cost of around 140 crore rupees.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reiterated the government's commitment to the welfare of the farmers. He announced the establishment of the National Turmeric Board yesterday considering the needs and future prospects of turmeric farmers for their benefit.
Replying to a post by Member of Parliament from Nizamabad Arvind Dharmapuri, regarding the benefits of establishment of Board, Mr Modi in a social media post said that the well-being and prosperity of farmers has always been a top priority. He added that the government aims to harness the potential of the turmeric farmers and give them the support they rightly deserve.

Science and Technology Minister Dr Jitendra Singh has said that in the times to come, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct competitive examinations in all the 22 Indian languages. He said, the intention of the government is to provide a language-neutral, level playing field to all the aspiring candidates. Addressing the valedictory session of the Bharatiya Bhasha Summit in New Delhi yesterday, Dr Singh said, from this year onward, SSC examinations are being conducted in 13 languages, that is 11 regional languages in addition to the already existing Hindi and English.

Delhi Police has arrested a most wanted terrorist, who was also a member of the Pune ISIS module. He was on the National Investigation Agency's most wanted list carrying a reward of three lakh rupees. Delhi Police Special Cell has also detained few other members of the module. The module was planning to carry out terror incidents in North India, taking instructions from foreign-based handlers. The police has recovered incriminating materials including materials suspected to be used for IED fabrication.

Over 50 thousand people have taken the pledge to donate their organs, under the AyushmanBhav campaign. President Droupadi Murmu had launched the campaign last month from Gandhinagar, Gujarat. In a social media post, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya urged people to take oath for organ donation.
A person after his death can give new life to eight people by donating vital organs like Kidneys, Liver, Lungs, Heart, and cornea. In the last ten years, the number of people donating organs has increased more than three times. In 2013, around five thousand people came forward to donate their organs in the country. Now the number has increased to over 15 thousand organ donors annually. Central government is making arrangements for organ retrieval in all the hospitals and medical colleges across the country by the end of next year. Dipendra Kumar, Akashwani News Delhi.

A series of functions are being organized across the country and by Indian Missions abroad. A Sarva Dharma Prarthana Sabha was organised at Bapu's Samadhi at Rajghat in the national capital. President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat this morning. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Dr Jitendra Singh, Meenakshi Lekhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge were among those who offered floral tributes.
The President, Vice President and The Prime Minister paid homage to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. In her message, President Droupadi Murmu said, Mahatma Gandhi's ideals of truth and non-violence paved a new way for the world.
In his message, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar said Mahatma Gandhi’s principles of Truth and Non-violence were the guiding light in India’s struggle for independence against colonial rule.

Vice President of the Dominican Republic, Raquel Peña Rodríguez will visit India from tomorrow till Thursday. The Ministry of External Affairs said that the Vice President is set to visit India at the invitation of her Indian counterpart Jagdeep Dhankhar. At least 10 Cuban migrants died and 17 others were seriously injured when a cargo truck ferrying them had an accident in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas. Mexico's migration institute said, the accident took place along the Pacific coast stretch of the Pijijiapan-Tonala highway in Chiapas, a common route taken by migrants who cross into Mexico from Guatemala on their way north towards the United States.

In Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, India bagged three bronze medals today. India's women and men speed skating relay team secured two bronze medals while in the table tennis, India picked up a historic bronze medal in the women’s doubles tournament.
The Indian women speed skating relay team consisting of Sanjana Bhatuka, Karthika Jagadeeswaran, Heeral Sadhu and Aarathi Kastury clinched a third-place in speed skating 3000m relay team event. India’s men team of Aryan Pal, Anand Kumar, Siddhant, Vikram followed up the Indian women’s team also nabbed a Bronze in their final event. Indian Table Tennis players Ayhika Mukherjee and Sutirtha Mukherjee picked up a historic bronze medal in the women’s doubles tournament. The Indian duo lost to Suyong Cha and Sugyong Pak of North Korea in the semi-finals.
In Squash, Indian mixed doubles pair Anahat Singh and Abhay Singh beat Thailand's Anantana Prasertratanakul and Arkaradet Arkarahirunya 11-5, 11-6 in the Pool A match.
