अमरनाथ यात्रा के लिए हेलीकॉप्टर सेवा की ऑनलाइन बुकिंग शुरू हो गई है। श्री अमरनाथजी श्राइन बोर्ड ने इस वर्ष 29 जून से होने वाली 52 दिन की अमरनाथ यात्रा के लिए बालतल और पहलगाम दोनों यात्रा मार्गों के लिए यह सुविधा शुरू की है। बोर्ड की विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार अमरनाथ यात्रा 19 अगस्त को श्रावण पूर्णिमा – रक्षा बंधन पर संपन्न होगी। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि उत्तरी कश्मीर बालतल मार्ग के लिए नीलग्राथ-पंजतरणी और पहलगाम के लिये पहलगाम-पंजतरणी मार्ग पर हेलीकॉप्टर सेवा उपलब्ध रहेगी। आधिकारिक वेबसाइट JKSASB.nic.in पर ऑनलाइन बुकिंग की जा सकती है।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will share his thoughts with the people of the country and abroad in the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme on Akashwani on the 30th of this month. It will be the 111th episode of the monthly radio programme and the first to be aired after Mr Modi’s re-election as the Prime Minister for the third consecutive term.
People can submit their ideas and suggestions for the upcoming programme through the toll free number 1800-11-7800. People can also share their input online via the Narendra Modi App or the MyGov Open Forum. All suggestion for the upcoming episode will be accepted till the 28th of this month.
The Mann Ki Baat programme will be broadcast on the entire network of Akashwani and Doordarshan, AIR News website and newsonair mobile app. It will also be live streamed on the YouTube channels of the AIR News, DD News, PMO and Information and Broadcasting Ministry. Akashwani will broadcast the programme in regional languages immediately after the Hindi broadcast.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today said that no officials of National Testing Agency (NTA) will be spared if they are found guilty of irregularities in the conducting of this year’s National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) exam. Speaking to media persons at Sambalpur in Odisha, he said, some irregularities have come to light in two places. The government is concerned about this, and no culprit will be spared. Assuring students and parents, Mr. Pradhan said, on the recommendation of the Supreme Court, an order has been given for a re-test of 1,563 candidates. The Union Education Minister, however, said that a lot of improvement is required in the NTA.

देश के कपडा निर्यात में इस वर्ष मई महीने में नौ दशमलव पांच-नौ प्रतिशत की वृद्धि हुई है। दुनिया के प्रमुख बाजारों में प्रतिकूल आर्थिक स्थितियों के बावजूद यह वृद्धि दर्ज की गई। भारतीय कपडा उद्योग परिसंघ की रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि इस अवधि के दौरान भारत से वस्त्र निर्यात में भी नौ दशमलव आठ-चार प्रतिशत की बढोतरी हुई। मई महीने में कपडा और परिधान निर्यात में पिछली मई की तुलना में नौ दशमलव सात-शून्य प्रतिशत की समग्र वृद्धि रही। 14 जून को वाणिज्य मंत्रालय से जारी आंकडो के अनुसार, इस वर्ष अप्रैल-मई के दौरान भारत से कपडा निर्यात में पिछले वर्ष के मुकाबले छह दशमलव शून्य-चार प्रतिशत की वृद्धि रही।

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Earth Sciences Dr. Jitendra Singh has said that India is set to be the 6th country to have its own Deep Sea Mission. Dr Singh said this while chairing a meeting to discuss the 100-day Action Plan of the Ministry of Earth Sciences in New Delhi. During the meeting, Dr Singh expressed pride and happiness on the progress of Deep Sea mission and India being among the very few nations to achieve this feat. He asked institutes to focus on achieving a resilient blue economy to empower people dependent on the ocean and its energy for livelihood.
On drawing contours of the deep sea mission, he said that the mission is not limited to mineral exploration but the development of ocean sciences, exploration of flora and fauna and conservation of marine biodiversity among others.

In Archery, Ankita Bhakat and Bhajan Kaur sealed India a quota place in the women’s individual recurve event from the Final Olympic Qualifier in Antalya, Turkey yesterday. Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot today said that Karnataka has all the potential to be an international tourist destination. Speaking at the valedictory of Dakshin Bharat Utsav on Tourism in Bengaluru today, the Governor noted that Karnataka with ‘One State, Many Worlds’, tagline boasts of numerous international tourist destinations, including Hampi, the erstwhile capital of Vijayanagara Empire which is in ruins today. By calling Udupi in coastal Karnataka, as the Mathura of South India, the Governor informed that the state has the second highest number of protected monuments in India. He further said that the tourism sector significantly contributes over 15 percent of the State’s Gross State Domestic Product along with creating substantial employment opportunities.

A total of 919 women police personnel from constables to Deputy Inspector Generals across the Country will display their marksmanship in the first All India Police Special Shooting Competition for women police personnel, a five day event organised by State Police. Participants include two DIGs 453 officers, 48 personnel in the ranks of assistant sub inspector to inspectors and 398 personnel in other ranks from across the Country. They will compete in various firing competitions at the Tamilnadu Commando school’s Othivakkam firing range in Chengalpet. The event was inaugurated at the Rajarathinam Stadium. Tamilnadu police have engaged a team of 1000 personnel to accommodate, feed and facilitate the travel of participants from other states.

Telangana-based 26-year-old bilingual poet and short story writer Nunnavath Karthik has won the Sahitya Academy Yuva Puraskar 2024 for his short stories collection Dhavlo. In addition to being the youngest, he is also the first tribal author to be commemorated with this award. He writes under the pen name Ramesh Karthik Nayak and has four books to his credit, three in Telugu and one in English. Depicting the lifestyle of the Banjaras, his poems have appeared in international journals and were translated into Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali and other Indian languages. Karthik was thrice shortlisted for the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar in Telugu and also won Kalahamsa Kavitha Puraskaram, Tribal Young Achievers Award from Telangana state government and others. Few of his poems were also prescribed for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in many universities in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

दिल्ली यातायात पुलिस ने अवैध पार्किंग के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की है। यातायात पुलिस ने इस साल अब तक अवैध जगहों पर वाहन खडे़ करने को लेकर लगभग दो लाख चालीस हजार से अधिक लोगों का चालान काटा है। यह आंकडा पिछले वर्ष की तुलना में 35 फीसदी ज्यादा है। दिल्ली यातायात पुलिस के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि यह कार्रवाई यातायात में सुधार लाने और सफर के दौरान यात्रियों की सुरक्षा को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए की गई है। पिछले साल इसी अवधि के दौरान एक लाख 77 हजार से अधिक लोगों का चालान किया गया था।

दिल्ली पुलिस ने नशा मुक्त भारत अभियान के अंतर्गत कनॉट प्लेस में एक रंगारंग कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया। इस कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने के लिए 500 से भी ज्यादा लोग पहुंचे, जिन्होंने भारत को नशा मुक्त बनाने की प्रतिज्ञा ली। कनॉट प्लेस के सेंट्रल पार्क में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में लोगो को नशे के खिलाफ जागरुक करने के लिए कई कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किए गए।

अधिकारियों ने रविवार को बताया कि मुंबई हवाई अड्डे के सीमा शुल्क अधिकारियों ने 14 और 16 जून के दौरान 11 मामलों में 6.71 करोड़ रुपये मूल्य का 10.78 किलोग्राम से अधिक सोना जब्त किया है। सोना विभिन्न रूपों में छिपा हुआ पाया गया जैसे मोम में सोने की धूल, कच्चे आभूषण, जेब में शरीर के अंदर और यात्रियों के शरीर पर सोने की छड़ें। तस्करी के ऐसे ही कुछ मामलों में दो यात्रियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है।

तीन नए आपराधिक कानूनों पर विधि एवं न्याय मंत्रालय की ओर से रविवार को कोलकाता में आपराधिक न्याय प्रणाली के प्रशासन में भारतीय प्रगतिशील पथ नामक सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया। केंद्रीय कानून एवं न्याय मंत्री अर्जुन राम मेघवाल ने कहा कि ये कानून समाज को औपनिवेशिक मानसिकता से मुक्त करने के लिए बनाए गए हैं। तीन नए कानून भारतीय नया संहिता, भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता और भारतीय शाक्य अधिनियम 1 जुलाई से लागू होंगे। कलकत्ता उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश टी.एस. शिवयगनम ने कहा था कि जब भारत हर क्षेत्र में प्रगति कर रहा है, तो कानून और न्याय प्रणाली को पीछे नहीं रखा जा सकता है।

रानी लक्ष्मीबाई (अंग्रेज़ी: Rani Lakshmibai, जन्म- 19 नवंबर, 1835, वाराणसी; मृत्यु- 17 जून, 1858) मराठा शासित झाँसी राज्य की रानी और 1857 के प्रथम भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम की वीरांगना थीं। उन्होंने न केवल भारत की बल्कि विश्व की महिलाओं को गौरवान्वित किया। उनका जीवन स्वयं में वीरोचित गुणों से भरपूर, अमर देशभक्ति और बलिदान की एक अनुपम गाथा है।

मुमताज़ महल (अंग्रेज़ी: Mumtaz Mahal, जन्म: 6 अप्रॅल, 1593 – मृत्यु: 17 जून, 1631) का वास्तविक नाम ‘अर्जुमंद बानो बेगम’ था। मुमताज़ का निकाह मुग़ल सम्राट जहाँगीर के पुत्र शाहजहाँ से हुआ था। शाहजहाँ और मुमताज़ के 14 संतानें हुईं, जिनमें दारा शिकोह, शाह शुजा, औरंगज़ेब और मुराद बख़्श नामक चार पुत्र थे।
मुमताज़ का निधन बुरहानपुर में 17 जून, 1631 को हुआ। बाद में उनका शव आगरा लाया गया जहाँ शाहजहाँ ने उनकी क़ब्र पर विश्वविख्यात स्मारक ताजमहल बनवाया।
