In Sikkim, death toll following devastating flash flood has mounted to 19. State Disaster Management Department has said 26 are injured while 103 are reported missing including army personel. State Chief Secretary VB Pathak convened a series of meetings with the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, Wholesale Retailers, Pharmacy Association, IOC Representatives, LPG dealers and distributors, petrol pump owners, and Taxi Drivers Association, at Tashiling Secretariat yesterday. The Chief Secretary directed the NHIDCL to open the route for small and heavy vehicles through Lava and Reshi check posts at the earliest. ED, NHIDCL assured that the route will be cleared by this morning. The Transport Secretary was directed for route diversion for small and heavy vehicles after ensuring clearance of the route. प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कल मध्य प्रदेश के जबलपुर में 12 हजार छह सौ करोड रूपये से अधिक मूल्य की कई विकास परियोजनाओं की आधारशिला रखी और उद्घाटन किया। उन्होंने वीरांगना रानी दुर्गावती स्मारक का भूमि पूजन किया तथा उनकी याद में एक डाक टिकट भी जारी किया। इस अवसर पर प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री अटल विहारी वाजपेयी ने सबसे पहले जनजातीय मंत्रालय बनाया और जनजातीय समुदायों को सम्मान दिया।
The Ministry of Civil Aviation has said that citizens can now become drone pilots with any government-issued identity and address proof. The Ministry has notified the new Drone (Amendment) Rules 2023 for drone pilots. After the amendment, it has now been made clear that a government-issued proof of identity and a government-issued proof of address like Voter ID, Ration Card or Driving License can now be accepted to apply for a Remote Pilot Certificate if the drone pilot does not have a passport. The rule is effective from the 27th of last month.

In Arunachal Pradesh, the State Cooperative Development Committee had its first meeting at the State Civil Secretariat in Itanagar yesterday. In the first sitting, the State Cooperative Development Committee approved the district-wise plan of setting up of 491 Cooperative societies across the State over the period of next five years. These include 150 Large Sized Multi Purpose Cooperative Societies, 157 Dairy Cooperative Societies and 184 Fisheries Cooperative Societies.The meeting was chaired by the state’s Chief Secretary Dharmendra. The committee also approved the setting up of a 500 metric ton grain storage plan by Namsai Large Sized Multi Purpose Cooperative Societies on a pilot basis. During the meeting, Mr. Dharmendra also reviewed the steps taken by the Department of Cooperation in implementing various schemes and initiatives of the Central government in the state.

Swachhata Special Campaign 3.0 of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances to augment cleanliness and elevate the workplace experiences in the government offices is in full swing. The campaign initially had a preparatory phase from 15th September with an aim to identify targets to be achieved during the campaign period. The main campaign started from 2nd October and will last up to 31st October.

The state government ran a long campaign to create awareness among farmers about better management as well as mixing of stubble in the fields instead of burning. But despite this, the incidents of stubble burning are on the rise in the state. There is a complete ban on stubble burning in the state, yet the cases of stubble burning are increasing day by day.

In Chhattisgarh, the final voter list for the upcoming assembly elections has been published and displayed at all polling stations across the state. After a special campaign to register new voters in Chhattisgarh, the state has seen an increase of over 7 lakh 19,000 voters. The current voter count in the state is now over 2 crore 3 lakh. Chhattisgarh stands out as one of the states in the country where the number of female voters surpasses that of males. According to the recently released voter list, there are over 1 crore 2 lakh registered women voters in the state, while male voters number around 1 crore 1 lakh.

Officials of the Income Tax Department yesterday conducted search at about 40 places linked to DMK MP S.Jagathrakshakan in Chennai and suburban areas. More than 50 vehicles, investigators arrived at the location in tiny teams and began their simultaneous searches. More than 150 armed reserve personnel have been posted in places where the searches are being held. The properties of Sree Balaji Dental College and Hospital in Pallikaranai, Saveetha University in Kuthambakkam and his offices in T.Nagar and Velachery are among the places searched by the IT officials.

Anbil Mahesh, the state's Minister of Education, has announced a pay increase for the 10, 359 part-time teachers, from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,500. Additionally, the government will roll out a medical insurance program with a cap of Rs. 10 lakh. Amidst protests and a sit in strike , the Minister also announced the formation of a three member committee to consider the demands of the agitating secondary teachers and make recommendations to the Government on Wednesday. The recommendations of the committee will be finalised within a period of three months and a report will be submitted.

The delivery of Namma Metro coaches for Bengaluru was discussed in a video conference held yesterday by Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya, BMRCL MD Anjum Parvez, Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd MD Umesh Chowdhary, and representatives from CRRC firm. The CRRC has confirmed that two car bodies for metro trains will arrive in Bengaluru by November. While a CRRC representative said the company would need more time to supply 2 additional car bodies, Surya intervened and requested them to supply it by end of November. The Bengaluru South MP, who inspected the Yellow Line yesterday, assured Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd that he would request the Centre to provide requisite visas and governmental clearances for the Chinese Engineers assisting in the project. CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Co Ltd was awarded the contract to supply 216 coaches in 2019. Their domestic production partners Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd are manufacturing 75% of the coaches. Surya's intervention were key in helping the BMRCL meet its deadline of getting the Yellow Line operational by February 2024.

Santhosh, Tarun Chug, Sunil Bansal, and Bandi Sanjay, are expected to attend the crucial gathering. Meanwhile, Union Tourism minister and BJP State President G. दिल्ली की राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट ने दिल्ली आबकारी नीति मामले में आम आदमी पार्टी नेता और राज्यसभा सांसद संजय सिंह को 10 अक्टूबर तक रिमांड पर भेज दिया है। इससे पहले श्री सिंह को प्रवर्तन निदेशालय द्वारा गिरफ्तार किये जाने के बाद अदालत में पेश किया गया था।

दिल्ली के पर्यावरण मंत्री गोपाल राय ने कल एंटी डस्ट अभियान को लेकर सभी संबंधित विभागों के साथ संयुक्त बैठक की। पर्यावरण मंत्री ने कहा कि दिल्ली सरकार विंटर एक्शन प्लान के तहत सात अक्टूबर से सात नवंबर तक एंटी डस्ट अभियान चलाएगी और इस अभियान के तहत पूरी दिल्ली में निगरानी के लिए 13 विभागों की करीब छह सौ टीमें तैनात की गई हैं। श्री राय ने बताया कि इस दिशा में कार्य करने के लिए कंस्ट्रक्शन एंड डेमोलिशन पोर्टल को पहले शुरू किया गया था और अब इस पोर्टल पर 500 वर्ग मीटर से अधिक सभी निर्माण स्थलों का पंजीकरण करना अनिवार्य है। इस अभियान के तहत यह सुनिश्चित किया जाएगा कि सभी सक्रिय कंस्ट्रक्शन एंड डेमोलिशन साइटें पोर्टल पर पंजीकृत हो जाएं और दिल्ली प्रदूषण नियंत्रण समिति द्वारा सभी पंजीकृत साइट्स की मूल्यांकन रिपोर्ट की समीक्षा की जाएगी।

दिल्ली मेट्रो रेल निगम ने कल अपनी सभी मेट्रो लाइनों पर व्हाट्सएप-आधारित टिकटिंग प्रणाली के विस्तार की घोषणा की। डीएमआरसी की इस पहल का उद्देश्य सभी दिल्ली मेट्रो यात्रियों के लिए टिकट बुकिंग को आसान बनाना है। यात्री अब व्हाट्सएप नम्बर पर 9 1 9 6 5 0 8 5 5 8 0 0 पर 'हाय' टेक्स्ट के साथ एक संदेश भेजकर यात्रा टिकट खरीद सकते हैं। व्हाट्सएप-आधारित टिकटिंग सेवा की मुख्य विशेषताएं यह है कि उपयोगकर्ता एक बार में अधिकतम 6 क्यूआर टिकट ले सकते हैं। व्हाट्सएप के जरिए सभी लाइनों के लिए सुबह 6 बजे से रात 9 बजे के बीच और एयरपोर्ट लाइन के लिए सुबह 4 बजे से रात 11 बजे तक टिकट बुक किए जा सकते हैं। भुगतान के लिए क्रेडिट और डेबिट कार्ड के माध्यम से किए गए लेनदेन पर मामूली सुविधा शुल्क लिया जाएगा, जबकि एकीकृत भुगतान इंटरफ़ेस-यूपीआई आधारित लेनदेन करने पर कोई सुविधा शुल्क नहीं लिया जाएगा। डीएमआरसी के अनुसार व्हाट्सएप टिकटिंग में टिकट रद्द करने की अनुमति नहीं है।

दिल्ली के तालकटोरा इंडोर स्टेडियम में कल से स्वास्थ्य मेला चल रहा है। इस मेले का आयोजन गुरु गोबिंद सिंह इंद्रप्रस्थ विश्वविद्यालय अपनी स्थापना के रजत जयंती वर्ष के अवसर पर कर रहा है। यह मेला इस महीने की 10 तारीख तक चलेगा। मेले में लोगों को नेत्र जांच, दंत रोग, कैंसर, ब्लड प्रेशर और मधुमेह रोग की नि:शुल्क जांच की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई जा रही है। साथ ही उन्हें होम्योपैथी और आयुर्वेद की नि:शुल्क ओपीडी, योग, मानसिक स्वास्थ्य, पोषण और जीवनशैली प्रबंधन का नि:शुल्क परामर्श दिया जा रहा है।

मुख्यमंत्री तीर्थयात्रा के तहत कल दिल्ली से करीब 800 बुजुर्ग तीर्थयात्रियों को लेकर यात्रा ट्रेन रामेश्वरम् के लिए रवाना हुई। इन तीर्थयात्रियों से मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने मुलाकात के दौरान कहा कि दिल्ली से रामेश्वरम् की दूरी सबसे ज्यादा होने की वजह से यहां के लिए यात्रा ट्रेन की मांग अधिक रहती है। अभी तक 22 ट्रेन, तीर्थयात्रियों को लेकर रामेश्वरम् जा चुकी है, जिसमें करीब 20 से 22 हजार लोग यात्रा कर चुके हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि ढाई दिन की यात्रा के बाद तीर्थयात्री दो दिन मंदिर के दर्शन कर सकेंगे। पहले दिन तीर्थयात्री रामेश्वरम् मंदिर जाएंगे और अगले दिन मीनाक्षी मंदिर के दर्शन करेंगे। उसके बाद उसी रात यह ट्रेन वापस दिल्ली के लिए रवाना होगी।

लक्ष्मी मल्ल सिंघवी ( मृत्यु- 6 अक्टूबर, 2007, नई दिल्ली) जानेमाने भारतीय कवि, लेखक, भाषाविद, संविधान विशेषज्ञ और प्रसिद्ध न्यायविद थे। उन्होंने हिन्दी के वैश्वीकरण और हिन्दी के उन्नयन की दिशा में सजग, सक्रिय और ईमानदार प्रयास किए। वे भारतीय संस्कृति के राजदूत, ब्रिटेन में हिन्दी के प्रणेता और हिन्दी-भाषियों के लिए प्रेरणा स्रोत थे। जैन धर्म के इतिहास और संस्कृति के जानकार के रूप में मशहूर लक्ष्मी मल्ल सिंघवी ने कई पुस्तकें भी लिखीं, जिनमें से अनेक हिन्दी में हैं। भारत सरकार उन्हें 'पद्म भूषण' से सम्मानित किया गया था।
Birth
LeCorbusier Swiss French architect, and city planner, was born in France in1887. Le Corbusier (Charles-Édouard Jeanneret) is considered as the most important architect of the modern age. Le Corbusier built many ground breaking buildings around the world and drew up numerous important urban development plans. Le Corbusier prepared the master plan of the new city of Chandigarh and subsequently designed the Capitol Complex, the City Centreand the Museum Complex. 17 different projects of the Swiss-French architect LeCorbusier were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List of internationally renowned architectural sites in 2016.

नाना साहब सन 1857 के भारतीय स्वतन्त्रता के प्रथम संग्राम के शिल्पकार थे। जब मई 1857 में प्रथम स्वतंत्रता संग्राम की ज्वालायें उठीं, नाना साहब भी राष्ट्र मुक्ति संघर्ष में कूद पड़े थे। उन्होंने कानपुर पर अधिकार कर लिया। कई मास इस पर आज़ादी का झण्डा लहराता रहा।

अरविंद त्रिवेदी ( मृत्यु- 6 अक्टूबर, 2021) भारतीय सिनेमा में छोटे परदे के प्रसिद्ध कलाकार थे। दूरदर्शन पर आने वाले प्रसिद्ध धारावाहिक 'रामायण' में उन्होंने लंकापति रावण का किरदार निभाया था। रामायण में लंकेश का किरदार निभाने वाले अरविंद त्रिवेदी की आवाज़ जब गूंजती थी तो देखने वालों के भी रोंगटे खड़े हो जाते थे। इस सीरियल से अगर राम के रूप में अरुण गोविल को अमर पहचान मिली तो अभिनेता अरविंद त्रिवेदी की रावण की भूमिका भी यादगार बन गई।
अगर अभिनय की दृष्टि से देखें के लिहाज से देखें तो उन्होंने रावण की भूमिका में जान ला दी थी। बाद में रामायण पर जितने भी सीरियल बने, सबमें रावण के किरदार को अरविंद त्रिवेदी की तरह कॉपी करने की कोशिश की गई। उन्होंने करीब 300 हिंदी और गुजराती फिल्मों में काम किया था।

और अब बात करतें है जयंती की तो आज जयंती है
आज भारत के महान् खगोल वैज्ञानिक मेघनाद साहा की जयंती है। खगोल विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में उनका अविस्मरणीय योगदान है। उनके द्वारा प्रतिपादित तापीय आयनीकरण[2] के सिद्धांत को खगोल विज्ञान में तारकीय वायुमंडल के जन्म और उसके रासायनिक संगठन की जानकारी का आधार माना जा सकता है। खगोल विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में उनके अनुसंधानों का प्रभाव दूरगामी रहा और बाद में किए गए कई शोध उनके सिद्धातों पर ही आधारित थे। साहा समीकरण ने सारी दुनिया का ध्यान आकर्षित किया और यह समीरकरण तारकीय वायुमंडल के विस्तृत अध्ययन का आधार बना। एक खगोल वैज्ञानिक के साथ-साथ मेघनाद साहा स्वतंत्रता सेनानि भी थे। मेघनाथ साहा संसद के भी सदस्य थे। उन्हें अनेक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सम्मान प्राप्त हुए थे। 34 वर्ष की उम्र में ही वे लंदन की 'रॉयल एशियाटिक सोसायटी' के फ़ैलो चुने गए। 1934 में उन्होंने 'भारतीय विज्ञान कांग्रेस' की अध्यक्षता की। भारत सरकार ने कलैण्डर सुधार के लिए जो समिति गठित की थी, उसके अध्यक्ष भी मेघनाथ साहा ही थे। डॉ. साहा ने पाँच महत्त्वपूर्ण पुस्तकों की भी रचना की थी।

हिंदी फिल्मों के प्रसिद्ध अभिनेता विनोद खन्ना की भी आज जयंती है। विनोद खन्ना अपने वक्त के सबसे हैंडसम अभिनेताओं में गिने जाते थे। उन्होंने कई ब्लॉकबस्टर फिल्मों में काम किया।

उन्होंने अपने करियर की शुरुआत नकारात्मक किरदारों से की। बाद में वह मुख्यधारा के हीरो बन गए। यादगार फ़िल्में 'मेरे अपने', 'कुर्बानी', 'पूरब और पश्चिम', 'रेशमा और शेरा', 'हाथ की सफाई', 'हेरा फेरी', 'मुकद्दर का सिकंदर', ‘अमर अकबर एंथनी’, 'दयावान', 'मेरा गांव मेरा देश'
और भी कई फिल्मे है जिनके नाम बताना संभव नहीं है
विनोद खन्ना बचपन में बेहद शर्मीले थे और जब वह स्कूल में पढ़ते थे, तो उन्हें एक टीचर ने जबरदस्ती नाटक में उतार दिया और तभी से उन्हें अभिनय करना अच्छा लगने लगा।
विनोद खन्ना के पिता नहीं चाहते थे कि उनका बेटा फिल्मों में जाए, लेकिन अंत में विनोद की ज़िद के आगे उनके पिता झुक गए और उन्होंने विनोद को दो साल का समय दिया। विनोद ने इन दो सालों में मेहनत कर फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में जगह बना ली। विनोद खन्ना को सुनील दत्त ने साल 1968 में फिल्म 'मन का मीत' में विलेन की भूमिका दी। इस फिल्म से उन्हें अच्छी पहचान मिली

आज हास्य अभिनेता संजय मिश्रा का जन्म 1963 में हुआ, एक भारतीय फ़िल्म के हास्य अभिनेता है। इन्होंने अधिकतर हिन्दी फ़िल्मों तथा टेलीविज़न धारावाहिकों में अभिनय किया है। 2015 में इन्हें आँखों देखी के लिए फ़िल्मफ़ेयर क्रिटिक अवॉर्ड फ़ॉर बेस्ट एक्टर से नवाजा गया। वह हाल ही में टोटल धमाल में दिखाई दिए संजय मिश्रा का जन्म दरभंगा, बिहार में एक हिन्दू परिवार में सन 1963 में हुआ था। इनके पिता शम्भुनाथ मिश्रा जो कि एक पत्रकार है।
