उपभोक्ता कार्य, खाद्य और सार्वजनिक वितरण मंत्रालय ने वस्तु और सेवा कर की नयी दरों को देखते हुए संशोधित परामर्श जारी किए हैं। नई जी.एस.टी. दरें सोमवार से लागू हो रही हैं। परामर्श के अनुसार, विनिर्माताओं, पैकर्स और आयातक 22 सितम्बर से पहले विनिर्मित और बिना बिके पैकेज पर संशोधित मूल्य का स्टिकर लगा सकते हैं, लेकिन पैकेज पर पहले से छपा अधिकतम खुदरा मूल्य स्पष्ट दिखना चाहिए। मंत्रालय ने परामर्श में जी.एस.टी. संशोधन लागू होने से पहले की पैकेजिंग सामग्री या रैपर के, अगले वर्ष मार्च तक या पुराना स्टॉक खत्म होने तक, उपयोग की अनुमति दी है। परामर्श में यह भी कहा गया है कि कम्पनियां नया स्टिकर लगाकर या पैकेज के किसी उपयुक्त स्थान पर प्रिंट कर अधिकतम खुदरा मूल्य सही कर सकते हैं।
मंत्रालय के अनुसार, इस कदम से व्यापार सुगमता और उपभोक्ताओं का हित संरक्षित करने के प्रयासों में संतुलन बनेगा।

Union Minister for Electronics and Information and Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw has said Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) rules are finalized and set for publication in coming days. The minister said this while launching the logo and key activities for the India AI Impact Summit 2026. He informed that more than 3,000 consultations were held over a very long period to come up with this entire framework.
Mr. Vaishnaw stated that India has 38 thousand GPUs right now and more GPUs will be available in the near future. The Minister informed that the expansion of more than 500 Data and AI Labs will pave the way for inclusive growth, democratized technology, and global leadership in AI and electronics.

Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has granted approval of recommencement of helicopter operations for the Char Dham Yatra 2025 after the monsoon break. In a statement, the Ministry of Civil Aviation said that the strategic initiatives for enhancing the safety of Char Dham operations have been implemented after a rigorous scrutiny. Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu held multiple review meetings along with chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami, at Dehradun and Delhi to ensure close coordination among the DGCA, Airport Authority of India and State Government.

The United States once again vetoed a United Nations Security Council resolution, that demanded an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages. All 14 other members of the UN, called Israel to lift all restrictions on aid, delivering to 2.1 million Palestinians also described the situation in Gaza as catastrophic.
It was the sixth US veto since the war between Israel and Hamas began nearly two years ago. The move underscores U.S. and Israeli isolation on the world stage. The Gaza war erupted on 7 October 2023 after Hamas and other Palestinian militant groups attacked Israel, killing around 1,200 people and taking 250 hostages, with 48 still in captivity.

1. Clean up activity
Clean up activity will be held at beaches from Kasimedu to Kovalam in Chennai tomorrow from 6 to 9 in the morning. The Volunteers will be school and college going children, residents from local neighbourhoods, members of walking associations, NGOs, NSS, NCC and corporates. The participation of thousands of citizens could serve as a wake up call to everyone. The event will conclude with a discussion on how garbage affects marine life and a community pledge on keeping surroundings clean.

2. Tamilnadu Housing Board is positioning its new commercial complexes across Chennai as budget friendly hubs. It has already sold its complexes in Chintamani and Annanagar to government bodies. In addition, seven other complexes have come up in prime locations. With metro connectivity and central access, these sites are proving attractive to government agencies. Sized between 7000 sq.ft and 18 thousand Sq.ft , the new complexes are pitched as modern, affordable alternatives to private rentals.

1. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said that the state offers a unique tapestry of experiences from the ancient stones of Hampi to the Silicon driven innovations in Bengaluru. Speaking at the 55th annual Convention of the Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India in Bengaluru yesterday, he noted that a world class hospitality ecosystem is built in the state. Mr. Siddaramaiah informed that the domestic tourist footfall in Karnataka grew steadily to 30.46 crore persons last year, building on the strong 58 percent surge. The tourist inflow, he added, has generated over 12 lakh direct and indirect jobs. The hospitality sector alone contributes approximately twenty five thousand crore rupees, making it a cornerstone of prosperity.

Union Coal Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy has Hyderabad district officials to strengthen coordination among departments for the timely and effective implementation of central schemes. He emphasised that officials and public representatives must work in harmony to address the city’s pressing civic issues. Speaking to the media after chairing a meeting of the Hyderabad District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA), he said the poor in various areas of Hyderabad face serious problems that require targeted development and coordinated efforts. He said all departments, MPs, MLAs and officials must work collectively, keeping priorities in focus and protecting Hyderabad’s brand image. Mr Reddy also called for the urgent restoration of damaged drainage systems in slums. Schools, anganwadi centres, community halls and hostels must receive special attention, He said.

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation, TSRTC, will be operating over 7 thousand 7 hundred special buses across the state to meet demands of passengers during the upcoming Bathukamma and Dussehra festivals. These services will run from tomorrow till 2nd October from all major bus stations in Hyderabad and Secunderabad, as well as from high demand points in the city. They will cover all districts in Telangana and extend to Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra states as well. Advance reservation facilities have been made available for 377 special services.

नई दिल्ली नगरपालिका परिषद-एनडीएमसी आज कर्तव्य पथ पर 10 किमी लंबी लाइव कैनवस पेंटिंग बनाएगी। इस आयोजन की जानकारी एनडीएमसी उपाध्यक्ष कुलजीत सिंह चहल ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान दी। इस अवसर पर श्री चहल ने कहा कि परिषद 17 सितंबर से 2 अक्टूबर तक सेवा पर्व के अंतर्गत विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करेगी। श्री चहल ने बताया कि इन्हीं कार्यक्रमों की श्रृंखला में विकसित भारत के रंग, कला के संग कार्यक्रम त्रिवेणी कला संगम और दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के सहयोग से इस कार्यक्रम का आज आयोजन किया जाएगा। एनडीएमसी ने बताया कि पहली बार इतने बड़े पैमाने पर ऐसा आयोजन किया जा रहा है, जिसमें देशभर से प्रमुख पद्मविभूषण, पद्मश्री सम्मानित एवं ख्यातिप्राप्त कलाकार हिस्सा लेंगे।

महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने कहा है कि सेवा गारंटी अधिनियम के तहत 44 सरकारी सेवाएँ तीन महीने के भीतर बिना किसी मानवीय हस्तक्षेप के ऑनलाइन उपलब्ध कराई जाएँगी। वे कल पुणे में छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज महाराजस्व अभियान के तहत आयोजित राज्य स्तरीय सेवा पखवाड़ा के उद्घाटन अवसर पर बोल रहे थे। इस अवसर पर उपमुख्यमंत्री अजीत पवार, राजस्व मंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुले, सांसद मेधा कुलकर्णी और अभिनेता नाना पाटेकर उपस्थित थे। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि संपर्क सड़कों की जीआईएस मैपिंग की जा रही है, जिससे विवादों को सुलझाने और ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था को बदलने में मदद मिलेगी। इस पहल की ज़िम्मेदारी नाम फाउंडेशन ने ली है।

कुंवर नारायण (अंग्रेज़ी: Kunwar Narayan, जन्म- 19 सितम्बर, 1927, फ़ैज़ाबाद, उत्तर प्रदेश; मृत्यु- 15 नवम्बर, 2017 दिल्ली) हिन्दी के सम्मानित कवियों में गिने जाते थे। कुंवर जी की प्रतिष्ठा और आदर हिन्दी साहित्य की भयानक गुटबाजी के परे सर्वमान्य है। उनकी ख्याति सिर्फ़ एक लेखक की तरह ही नहीं, बल्कि कला की अनेक विधाओं में गहरी रुचि रखने वाले रसिक विचारक के समान भी है। कुंवर नारायण को अपनी रचनाशीलता में इतिहास और मिथक के माध्यम से वर्तमान को देखने के लिए जाना जाता है। उनका रचना संसार इतना व्यापक एवं जटिल है कि उसको कोई एक नाम देना सम्भव नहीं है। फ़िल्म समीक्षा तथा अन्य कलाओं पर भी उनके लेख नियमित रूप से पत्र-पत्रिकाओं में छपते रहे हैं। आपने अनेक अन्य भाषाओं के कवियों का हिन्दी में अनुवाद किया है और उनकी स्वयं की कविताओं और कहानियों के कई अनुवाद विभिन्न भारतीय और विदेशी भाषाओं में छपे हैं। ‘आत्मजयी’ का 1989 में इतालवी अनुवाद रोम से प्रकाशित हो चुका है। ‘युगचेतना’ और ‘नया प्रतीक’ तथा ‘छायानट’ के संपादक-मण्डल में भी कुंवर नारायण रहे हैं।

श्रीपाद दामोदर सातवलेकर (अंग्रेज़ी: Shripad Damodar Satwalekar ; जन्म- 19 सितम्बर, 1867 ई., महाराष्ट्र; मृत्यु- 31 जुलाई, 1968 ई.) का बीसवीं शताब्दी के भारतीय सांस्कृतिक उन्नयन में विशेष योगदान रहा था। वे वेदों का अध्ययन करने वाले विद्वान थे। वेदों के अर्थ और आशय का जितना गंभीर अध्ययन और मनन सातवलेकर जी ने किया था, उतना कदाचित् ही किसी अन्य भारतीय ने किया हो। वैदिक साहित्य के संबंध में उन्होंने अनेक लेख लिखे और हैदराबाद में ‘विवेकवर्धिनी’ नामक शिक्षा संस्था की स्थापना की। राष्ट्रीय विचारों से ओतप्रोत उनकी ज्ञानोपासना वहाँ के निज़ाम को अच्छी नहीं लगी, इसीलिए इनको शीघ्र ही हैदराबाद छोड़ देना पड़ा। श्रीपाद दामोदर सातवलेकर को साहित्य एवं शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में विशेष योगदान के लिए 1968 में ‘भारत सरकार ने ‘पद्म भूषण’ से सम्मानित किया था।

He was known to record songs in the legacy of Australia genre, particularly of bush life, including works by renowned Australian bush poets Henry Lawson and Banjo Paterson, who represented the lifestyle. The music genre was coined the “bush ballad”, a style first made popular by Buddy Williams. Dusty was also known for his many trucking songs.

The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the PadmaShri, in 2016, for his contributions to folk music. the works of Jhaverchand Meghani and DulaBhaya Kag early in his life is reported to have inspired Gadhvi totake up song writing and he focused on Dayro tradition, a folk music tradition of Gujarat where the performer sings narrative stories. He has since performed in many countries such as the US, UK and Indonesia and has over 350 audio albums to credit which include popular tracks like Bhadanu Makan and KhandaninuKhamir. Gadhvi Received the Gujarat Gaurav Award of the Government of Gujarat.

पंडित विष्णुनारायण भातखंडे (अंग्रेज़ी: Vishnu Narayan Bhatkhande; जन्म- 10 अगस्त, 1860, मुंबई; मृत्यु- 19 सितम्बर, 1936) भारत के ‘हिन्दुस्तानी शास्त्रीय संगीत’ के विद्वान व्यक्ति थे। शास्त्रीय संगीत के सबसे बड़े आधुनिक आचार्य के रूप में उनका नाम बड़े आदर के साथ लिया जाता है। पूरी तरह से नि:स्वार्थ और समर्पित संगीत साधक भातखंडे ने हिन्दुस्तानी शास्त्रीय संगीत को वैज्ञानिक पद्धति से व्यवस्थित, वर्गीकृत और मानकीकृत करने का पहला आधुनिक प्रयास किया था। उन्होंने देश भर में घूम-घूमकर उस्तादों से बंदिशें एकत्रित करने, विभिन्न रागों पर उनसे चर्चा करके उनके मानक रूप निर्धारित करने और संगीतशास्त्र के रहस्यों से पर्दा उठाते हुए अनेक विद्वत्तापूर्ण पुस्तकें लिखने का महत्त्वपूर्ण कार्य किया था।

Pandit VishnuNarayan Bhatkhande (10 August 1860 – 19 September 1936) musicologist who wrote the first moderntreatise on Hindustani classical music, an art which hadbeen propagated for centuries mostly through oral traditions. During thoseearlier times, the art had undergone several changes, rendering the raga grammar documentedin scant old outdated texts. Ragas usedto be classified into Raga (male), Ragini (female), and Putra (children). Bhatkhande reclassified them into the currently used thaat system. He noted that several ragas did not conform to their description in ancient Sanskrit texts. He explained the ragas in an easy-to-understand language andcomposed several bandishes which explained the grammarof the ragas.

आज जानी मानी फिल्म अभिनेत्री ईशा कोप्पिकर का जन्मदिन है। उन्होंने 1995 में मिस इंडिया प्रतियोगिता में भाग लिया और मिस टैलेंट का ताज जीता। उन्होंने 1998 में तमिल फिल्म ‘काधल कविथाई’ से अभिनय करियर की शुरुआत की और बाद में हिंदी फिल्म ‘फिजा’ से बॉलीवुड में कदम रखा। ईशा को ‘कंपनी’, ‘पिंजर’, और ‘कृष्णा कॉटेज’ जैसी फिल्मों के लिए याद किया जाता है
