A technology transfer agreement was signed between NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center (IN-SPACe), and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the transfer of the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) technology.
“Developed by ISRO, the SSLV is designed as a quick turnaround, on-demand launch vehicle that can be efficiently scaled for industrial production. It is aimed at capturing the growing global market for small satellite launches. The vehicle can be launched from Sriharikota for inclined orbits and from the upcoming launch site at Kulasekarapattinam for polar orbits. In a social media post, ISRO has mentioned the agreement marks a major milestone in the nation’s space sector reforms, paving the way for the commercialization of SSLV. Its successful deployment is expected to strengthen the Indian space ecosystem, while catering to both domestic and international demand for small satellite launch services. गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने कल गुजरात के साणंद विधानसभा क्षेत्र में छियासठ करोड़ रुपये की विकास परियोजनाओं का वर्चुअल उद्घाटन और शिलान्यास किया। निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के समग्र विकास का वादा करते हुए, श्री शाह ने कहा कि साणंद के हर गाँव में 2029 तक जलापूर्ति, सड़क, स्वास्थ्य सेवा, स्वच्छता और वनीकरण सहित बुनियादी सुविधाएँ उपलब्ध होंगी।
गृह मंत्री ने कहा कि धोलेरा विशेष निवेश क्षेत्र के चालू हो जाने और साणंद के आस-पास औद्योगिक विकास परियोजनाएँ पूरी होने के बाद, साणंद गुजरात में औद्योगिक रूप से सबसे विकसित तहसील के रूप में उभरेगा।
श्री शाह ने बताया कि साणंद विधानसभा क्षेत्र में कॉर्पोरेट सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व- सी.एस.आर. पहलों के माध्यम से लगभग 150 करोड़ रुपये की विकास परियोजनाओं की योजना बनाई गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि उद्योगपतियों के साथ हाल ही में हुई चर्चाओं के आधार पर एक मज़बूत प्रशासनिक ढाँचा स्थापित किया गया है।
गृह मंत्री ने लोगों से गाँवों, स्कूलों और नगर पालिकाओं के खुले स्थानों में ज्यादा से ज्यादा पेड़ लगाकर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के एक पेड़ माँ के नाम अभियान में हिस्सा लेने की भी अपील की।

This lower tax will directly boost demand for these appliances, helping domestic producers expand the market size. Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Director of the Mobile and Electronic Devices Export Promotion Council Desh Raj Bhadana has said that the new GST reforms will boost domestic demand and enhance household consumption.

Air India and Indigo have announced that it is operating special flights from Delhi to Kathmandu and back to help passengers who have been stranded due to the recent developments in Nepal. In a statement, Air India said that the scheduled operations have started and will also resume today. The airline has asked passengers to check the status of the flights on its website. It has also thanked the government and other agencies for the quick coordination to facilitate this in the interest of passengers.

In Asia Cup 2025, India beat UAE by 9 wickets in the group A match, held in Dubai. Chasing a modest target of 58, India cruised to victory in just 4.3 overs, losing only one wicket. Abhishek Sharma anchored the innings with a brilliant 30 off 16, while Shubman Gill provided key support with 20 runs, guiding India comfortably past the finish line.

CHENNAI
The death anniversary of Subramaniya Bharathiyar is observed today in Tamilnadu. Bharathiyar was born on 11th December 1882 at Ettayapuram. The title Bharati was bestowed on him by the Ettayapuram king. Since he was a freedom fighter and through his writings he rose to be an indomitable force against the British in Tamilnadu. His writings in Sudeshi newspaper were also called Mahakavi because of the songs that he wrote. He was a poet who lit up the fire of freedom among youngsters. He was fluent in Tamil, Hindi, Sanskrit and English. He was the editor of Swadesa Mitran from 1904 to 1906. From 1907 he was also an editor of India, a journal and also BalaBharatham in English. He was imprisoned by the British at Cuddalore and he passed away on September 11. His house at Ettayapuram has been preserved as a treasure since 1973.

Southern Railway will operate its first Amrit Bharat Express, a long distance non A/C train / The weekly service will run between Erode in Tamilnadu and Jogbani in Bihar covering a distance of over 3300km across eight zones. According to the Railway Board order, the train will depart Erode every Thursday at 7 am and return from Jogbani every Sunday at 7.30 am.

The mental health and research hospital NIMHANS in Bengaluru had organised a Round Table Dialogue on the theme of Suicide prevention. It brought together 220 student leaders from 35 higher educational campuses across the city to deliberate on suicide risk reduction and student well being as part of World Suicide Prevention Day. They shared their observations and experiences, highlighted challenges and dwelt upon solutions for mental health and suicide prevention in higher education. The emphasis was on creating an ecosystem to support one another as peers and what educational institutions can do to build responsive support systems for students in distress.

Hyderabad
Telangana state Government has opened a dedicated helpline for residents stranded in Nepal following the airport suspending some flights amid riots that have rocked the country over the past few days. Officials informed that distress calls have already been received, all from Hyderabad. The callers reported that their flight tickets were cancelled, leaving them unable to return home. Their details were immediately shared with the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu, which has taken charge of their safety. Telangana bhavan officials in Delhi said the stranded people from Telangana have been moved to a safe hotel by the Embassy until the situation stabilises.

दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने नेपाल में उत्पन्न आसमान्य परिस्थितियों को लेकर भारत के नेपाल स्थित राजदूत तथा भारत में नेपाल के राजदूत से फोन पर बातचीत की। मुख्यमंत्री ने राजदूतों से नेपाल में मौजूद दिल्लीवासियों की सुरक्षा, सहयोग और शीघ्र वापसी की जानकारी ली। उन्होंने कहा कि संकट की इस घड़ी में दिल्ली का कोई भी नागरिक अकेला नहीं है। श्रीमती गुप्ता ने नेपाल में मौजूद दिल्लीवासियों के परिवारजनों से धैर्य बनाए रखने और केवल सरकार द्वारा जारी सूचनाओं पर भरोसा करने की अपील की।

अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान-एम्स नई दिल्ली ने छात्रों की आत्महत्याओं से निपटने और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए नेवर एलोन नामक एक एआई-आधारित मानसिक स्वास्थ्य और वेलनेस कार्यक्रम शुरू किया है।
विश्व आत्महत्या रोकथाम दिवस पर कल एम्स ने छात्रों के मानसिक स्वास्थ्य में सुधार के लिए एआई आधारिक नेवर एलोन ऐप लॉन्च किया । इसका उद्देश्य छात्रों में डिप्रेशन के मामले को कम करना और आत्महत्या में कमी लाना है।

दिल्ली सचिवालय में विकास मंत्री कपिल मिश्रा की अध्यक्षता में पशु कल्याण बोर्ड की बैठक आयोजित की गई। इस बैठक में दिल्ली के करीब दस लाख आवारा कुत्तों को माइक्रोचिप लगाने की मंजूरी दी गई। बैठक में कुत्तों के काटने के मामलों की रोकथाम, टीकाकरण की डिजिटल मॉनिटरिेंग और हर जिले में पशु कल्याण समिति के गठन का निर्णय भी लिया गया। इसके अलावा बैठक में शिक्षा विभाग के साथ मिलकर जागरुकता अभियान चलाने को लेकर भी सहमति बनी।

मुंबई के गेटवे ऑफ इंडिया से पहली बार तीनों सेनाओं का महिला विश्व जलयात्रा अभियान आज सुबह रवाना किया जाएगा। थलसेना, नौसेना और वायुसेना की सभी महिला टीमें भारतीय सेना के नौकायन पोत त्रिवेणी पर हिस्सा लेंगी। पिछले ढाई वर्षों से कठोर प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर रही यह टीम 26 हजार समुद्री मील से अधिक की यात्रा करेगी।

पश्चिम बंगाल में नेपाल से लगी सीमा पर कड़ी निगरानी रखी जा रही है। इससे पहले राज्य के पुलिस महानिदेशक राजीव कुमार ने उत्तर बंगाल के पुलिस महानिरीक्षक, दार्जिलिंग जिले के पुलिस अधीक्षक और नेपाल सीमा से लगे सभी जिलों के पुलिस अधीक्षकों से बात की। रैपिड एक्शन फोर्स, आरएएफ और लड़ाकू बल सहित अतिरिक्त पुलिस बल भेजा गया है। सशस्त्र सीमा बल ने भी बंगाल में नेपाल सीमा पर सतर्कता बढ़ा दी है।

कलकत्ता उच्च न्यायालय ने भारतीय सेना के पूर्व सैनिकों को आज कोलकाता के मैदान इलाके में गांधी प्रतिमा के नीचे मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी की सेना पर कथित टिप्पणी के सिलसिले में विरोध प्रदर्शन करने की अनुमति दे दी। हाल ही में, मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने कुछ टिप्पणियां की थीं, जबकि कोलकाता में पूर्वी कमान के सैन्य कर्मियों ने मैदान इलाके से तृणमूल कांग्रेस का एक अस्थायी मंच हटा दिया था। बताया गया कि मंच हटाने की बार-बार की गई अपील के बाद भी तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने कोई कदम नहीं उठाया और कोलकाता पुलिस ने कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की, जिसके बाद सेना ने यह कदम उठाया।

उधर मुम्बई में आज गरज के साथ मूसलाधार बारिश की संभावना है। शहर में आज न्यूनतम तापमान 31 और अधिकतम तापमान 34 डिग्री सेल्सियस रहने का अनुमान है।
इसके अलावा, कोलकाता में आज गरज के साथ बारिश की संभावना है। आज का न्यूनतम तापमान 26 और अधिकतम तापमान 33 डिग्री सेल्सियस के आस-पास रहेगा।

1919 – अमरीकी नौसेना ने होंडुरास पर आक्रमण किया।
1948- Indian Government troops enter in the Hyderabad State.
1961 – विश्व वन्यजीव कोष की स्थापना।

आचार्य विनोबा भावे
11 सितंबर को महाराष्ट्र के कोंकण क्षेत्र के गागोदा गांव के एक धर्मपरायण चितपावन ब्राह्मण परिवार में विनोबा भावे का जन्म हुआ। भूदान आंदोलन के माध्यम से आचार्य विनोबा भावे ने देश के वंचित-भूमिहीन वर्ग को उनके अधिकार दिलाए, समानता की ऐसी संकल्पना रची जिसमें भूमिपतियों ने निर्धन जन की चिंता की, और उनके हित में अपनी भूमि का दान किया।
अपने संकल्प हेतु वे हजारों मील पैदल चले, सर्दी में, गर्मियों में, वर्षा में, धूप में। सेवा के बल पर उन्होंने करोड़ों लोगों के हृदय में अपना स्थान बनाया। उनकी प्रेरणा से लाखों एकड़ भूमिहीनों को दान की गई।
एक दिन उम्मीद से ज़्यादा भूमि दान हुई। हिसाब लगाते-लगाते उनके चेहरे पर मुस्कान आ गई। वे बोले, “आज इतनी जमीन हाथ में आई है, लेकिन देखो, कहीं हाथ में मिट्टी चिपकी तो नहीं!”
जिनके आह्वान पर लाखों एकड़ भूमि दान हुई हो, लेकिन उनकी चिंता थी कि स्वयं के हाथ में मिट्टी का एक कण भी चिपका न रहे। जनसेवा में समर्पण का ऐसा निःस्वार्थ भाव अतुलनीय है।
He translated the Bhagavad Gita into the Marathi language with the title Geetai (meaning ‘Mother Gīta’ in Marathi). In 1958 Bhave was the first recipient of the international Ramon Magsaysay Award for Community Leadership. He was awarded the Bharat Ratna posthumously in 1983. Vinoba Bhave, The Man, a documentary film on the social-reformer directed by Vishram Bedekar was released in 1963. It was produced by the Government of India’s Films Division.

नानिक अमरनाथ भारद्वाज
नानिक अमरनाथ भारद्वाज (अंग्रेज़ी: Nanik Amarnath Bhardwaj ; जन्म- 11 सितम्बर, 1911, कपूरथला, पंजाब; मृत्यु- 5 अगस्त, 2000, दिल्ली) भारत के महान् और ख्यातिप्राप्त क्रिकेटरों में से एक थे। अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट में भारत की ओर से पहला शतक लगाने का गौरव इन्हें प्राप्त है।
He played only three Test Matches before World War II (India played no official Test matches during the war). During this time he amassed around 10,000 runs with 30 hundreds in first-class cricket which included teams from Australia and England. After the war, he played another 21 Test Matches for India. The Government of India awarded him the civilian honour of the Padma Bhushan in 1991. Amarnath received the inaugural C. K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award. Aside from being a batsman, Lala Amarnath was also a bowler, the only one to dismiss Donald Bradman (an Australian cricketer) hit wicket.

Today is the birth anniversay of William Sydney Porter, better known by his pen name O. Henry, was an American writer known primarily for his short stories, though he also wrote poetry and non-fiction. His works include “The Gift of the Magi”, “The Duplicity of Hargraves”, and “The Ransom of Red Chief”, as well as the novel Cabbages and Kings. Porter’s stories are known for their naturalist observations, witty narration, and surprise endings. Porter’s legacy includes the O. Henry Award, an annual prize awarded to outstanding short stories.

कन्हैयालाल सेठिया (अंग्रेज़ी: Kanhaiyalal Sethia ; जन्म- 11 सितम्बर, 1919, चुरू, राजस्थान; मृत्यु- 11 नवम्बर, 2008) आधुनिक काल के प्रसिद्ध हिन्दी और राजस्थानी लेखक थे। इनकी सर्वाधिक प्रसिद्ध काव्य रचना ‘पाथल व पीथल’ है। राजस्थान में सामंतवाद के ख़िलाफ़ इन्होंने जबरदस्त मुहिम चलायी थी और पिछड़े वर्ग को आगे लाने में महत्त्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया। स्वतन्त्रता संग्राम सेनानी, समाज सुधारक, दार्शनिक तथा राष्ट्रीय-अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर के कवि एवं लेखक के रूप में कन्हैयालाल सेठिया को अनेक सम्मान, पुरस्कार एवं अलंकरण प्राप्त हुए थे। भारत सरकार द्वारा इन्हें ‘पद्म श्री’ से भी सम्मानित किया जा चुका है।

महादेवी वर्मा
महादेवी वर्मा केवल एक नाम नहीं, हिंदी साहित्य की वह रोशनी थीं, जिसने अपनी कविताओं से असंख्य दिलों को छुआ। जिन्हें प्यार से “आधुनिक मीरा” भी कहा जाता है क्योंकि उनकी कविताओं में प्रेम, पीड़ा और आध्यात्मिकता की वही गहराई झलकती है, जो मीरा की भक्ति में थी। 26 मार्च 1907 को उत्तर प्रदेश के फर्रुखाबाद में जन्मीं महादेवी का बचपन साहित्य और संस्कारों की छांव में बीता। पिता गोविंद प्रसाद वर्मा एक प्रगतिशील विचारधारा के थे, तो मां हेमरानी देवी धार्मिक थीं और संस्कृत व हिंदी की विदुषी भी, यही कारण था कि महादेवी के मन में बचपन से ही शब्दों की महक बस गई थी। इंदौर के मिशन स्कूल से पढ़ाई की शुरुआत हुई, जहां उन्होंने संस्कृत, अंग्रेज़ी, संगीत और चित्रकला सीखी, लेकिन उनके दिल को जो सबसे ज्यादा भाया, वह था साहित्य का संसार। मां ने उनकी इस रुचि को हमेशा प्रोत्साहित किया और यही सहारा आगे चलकर उन्हें साहित्य की बुलंदियों तक ले गया।
चिर सजग आँखे उनींदी आज कैसा व्यस्त बाना।

अचल हिमगिरी के ह्रदय में आज चाहे कंप हो ले,

सुब्रह्मण्य भारती
सुब्रह्मण्य भारती (अंग्रेज़ी: Subramania Bharati, जन्म: 11 दिसम्बर, 1882 – मृत्यु: 11 सितम्बर, 1921) भारत के महान कवियों में से एक थे, जिन्होंने तमिल भाषा में काव्य रचनाएँ कीं। इन्हें महाकवि भरतियार के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। भारती एक जुझारू शिक्षक, देशप्रेमी और महान कवि थे। आपकी देश प्रेम की कविताएँ इतनी श्रेष्ठ हैं कि आपको भारती उपनाम से ही पुकारा जाने लगा। तमिल भाषा के महाकवि सुब्रमण्यम भारती ऐसे साहित्यकार थे, जो सक्रिय रूप से ‘स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन’ में शामिल रहे, जबकि उनकी रचनाओं से प्रेरित होकर दक्षिण भारत में आम लोग आज़ादी की लड़ाई में कूद पड़े। ये ऐसे महान् कवियों में से एक थे, जिनकी पकड़ हिंदी, बंगाली, संस्कृत, अंग्रेज़ी आदि कई भाषाओं पर थी, पर तमिल उनके लिए सबसे प्रिय और मीठी भाषा थी। उनका ‘गद्य’ और ‘पद्य’ दोनों विधाओं पर समान अधिकार था।

गजानन माधव ‘मुक्तिबोध’ (अंग्रेज़ी: Gajanan Madhav Muktibodh, जन्म: 13 नवंबर, 1917 – मृत्यु: 11 सितंबर, 1964) की प्रसिद्धि प्रगतिशील कवि के रूप में है। मुक्तिबोध हिन्दी साहित्य की स्वातंत्र्योत्तर प्रगतिशील काव्यधारा के शीर्ष व्यक्तित्व थे। हिन्दी साहित्य में सर्वाधिक चर्चा के केन्द्र में रहने वाले मुक्तिबोध कहानीकार भी थे और समीक्षक भी। उन्हें प्रगतिशील कविता और नयी कविता के बीच का एक सेतु भी माना जाता है।
