जीएसटी परिषद ने आम आदमी, श्रम-प्रधान उद्योगों, किसानों और कृषि, स्वास्थ्य और अर्थव्यवस्था के लिए जीएसटी दरों में सुधार करते हुए उन्हें युक्तिसंगत बनाने को मंजूरी दे दी है। कल नई दिल्ली में मीडिया को जानकारी देते हुए वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने कहा कि आम आदमी और मध्यम वर्ग के उपयोग की वस्तुओं पर जीएसटी 18 तथा 12 प्रतिशत से घटाकर 5 प्रतिशत कर दिया गया है।
वित्त मंत्री ने बताया कि व्यक्तिगत जीवन बीमा पॉलिसियों और फैमिली फ्लोटर तथा वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के लिए पॉलिसी सहित व्यक्तिगत स्वास्थ्य बीमा पॉलिसियों पर जीएसटी से छूट को मंजूरी दी गई है।
वित्त मंत्री ने 33 जीवन रक्षक दवाओं और औषधियों पर जीएसटी को 12 प्रतिशत से घटाकर शून्य तथा कैंसर और अन्य गंभीर बीमारियों के इलाज वाली तीन जीवन रक्षक दवाओं पर जीएसटी को 5 प्रतिशत से घटाकर शून्य कर दिया है। अन्य सभी दवाओं और औषधियों पर जीएसटी 12 प्रतिशत से घटाकर 5 प्रतिशत कर दिया गया है।
वित्तमंत्री की अध्यक्षता में जीएसटी परिषद की 56वीं बैठक नई दिल्ली में हुई। परिषद ने देश में अगली पीढ़ी के वस्तु और सेवा कर सुधारों, कर दरों को युक्तिसंगत बनाने और अनुपालन को सरल बनाने पर विचार-विमर्श किया।
अप्रत्यक्ष कर ढांचे को युक्तिसंगत बनाते हुए परिषद ने 12 प्रतिशत और 28 प्रतिशत की दर को समाप्त करके वर्तमान चार स्लैब को घटाकर दो कर दिया जबकि 5 प्रतिशत और 18 प्रतिशत की स्लैब को बरकरार रखा है।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hailed the next-generation reforms in GST announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. In a social media post, Mr. Modi said that the government has decided to cut GST rates, which will benefit the common man, farmers, MSMEs, middle-class, women and youth. He added that the government had prepared a detailed proposal for broad-based GST rate rationalisation and process reforms, aimed at ease of living. He highlighted that these reforms will ensure ease of doing business for all, especially small traders and businesses.
The Prime Minister recalled that during his Independence Day Speech, he had spoken about the government’s intention to bring the Next-Generation reforms in GST.

Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shivraj Singh Chauhan is visiting Punjab today to take stock of the flood ravaged Punjab. The Union Minister will be visiting some villages of the most affected districts of Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Kapurthala. He will also be meeting affected people in these districts.
After visiting the affected areas, the Minister will be convening a high level meeting of the concerned officials of state and central government and others. He has said that the Central government is standing with Punjab in this hour of crisis.

CHENNAI METRO 1-
The Central Crime Branch of Chennai police registered a case against the managing director and branch manager of IndusInd Bank after an NRI couple from the United States reported a loss of Rs. 4.36 crore through the unauthorised premature closure of their fixed deposits at the bank’s AnnaNagar Branch. Complaint was given by a doctor couple from the US. According to the complaint filed by their power of attorney holder, M.Ravi of T.Nagar, the deposits were closed without the couple’s knowledge or consent, and the funds were transferred to unknown accounts. Ravi stated that neither he nor the couple had ever received any prior communication through email about the closure or transactions. Ravi alleged that the branch staff may have forged financial documents to misappropriate the funds and claimed that repeated attempts to lodge a complaint with the bank and the Reserve Bank of India went unanswered. Police confirmed that a case was registered against the IndusInd Bank managing director and the AnnaNagar Branch manager .Further investigation is under way.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited has been honoured with an award for its exemplary contribution to road infrastructure development in Tamilnadu at the 2nd Annual Conference of the Tamilnadu Highways Contractors Federation. The event was held alongside Conex South 2025, one of the region’s most prominent infrastructure trade fairs in Chennai. Indian Oil caters to nearly 60 percent of Tamilnadu’s bitumen requirements, supplying around 400 TMT annually. This recognition underscores Indian Oils crucial contribution to Tamilnadu’s road infrastructure development, particularly its role in ensuring reliable supply of high quality bitumen, which has been integral to the State’s road expansion and modernisation efforts.

BENGALURU METRO
Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar has announced that five new Corporation offices will start functioning from November 1, the day the state of Karnataka celebrates its foundation day. The single Corporation is split into five parts geographically and will function under the Greater Bengaluru Authority. Shivakumar said that 500 engineers will be appointed to these five Corporations along with funds of 300 crore rupees for the administrative expenses, salaries and pensions. The municipal wards have also increased from 198 to 500 with a proposal to add more areas in Bengaluru within the Corporation.

HYEDRABAD METRO
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be participating in Ganesh Nimajjanam festivities in Hyderabad on Saturday. He will welcome Ganesh idols at Moazzam Jahi Market, joining the annual procession, organised by Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi. He will also address the gathering on the occasion. This is the first time that the Union Home Minister will be participating in the annual event. As per Telangana BJP leaders, Amit Shah will arrive in Hyderabad in the afternoon on Saturday by special aircraft and meet state BJP leaders. He will discuss the latest political situation in the state and review the party’s preparedness for the upcoming local body elections in the state. Issues relating to strengthening the party in Telangana are also likely to be discussed during the hour-long meeting. The Union Home Minister will see the photo exhibition to be organised by Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi on its journey of 46 years. He will be virtually laying the foundation stone for the headquarters of the 28th battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). Meanwhile, Hyderabad Police Commissioner C. V. Anand reviewed the security arrangements for the procession. He stated that around 30 thousand police personnel are being deployed to ensure the Ganesh immersion procession is conducted peacefully across the city.

मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता की अध्यक्षता में दिल्ली सरकार की कैबिनेट बैठक कल हुई। दिल्ली सचिवालय में आयोजित इस बैठक में सरकार के सभी मंत्री भी मौजूद थे। बैठक के दौरान, सरकार ने विकास से जुड़े निर्माण कार्यों में तेजी लाने और जवाबदेही तय करने के लिए लोक निर्माण विभाग (पीडब्ल्यूडी) के अंतर्गत एक अलग इंजीनियरिंग कैडर बनाने का निर्णय लिया है। बैठक के बाद मुख्यमंत्री ने यह जानकारी दी कि अभी तक दिल्ली सरकार के पीडब्ल्यूडी के पास अपना स्वतंत्र इंजीनियरिंग कैडर नहीं था। विभाग की संपूर्ण इंजीनियरिंग सेवाएं केंद्रीय लोक निर्माण विभाग – सीपीडब्ल्यूडी के कैडर पर ही निर्भर थीं। मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता के अनुसार इस निर्णय से दिल्ली में नया सचिवालय, सभी ग्यारह जिलों में मिनी सचिवालय, मंडियों, खेल मैदानों और प्रशासनिक ढांचों का निर्माण अब तेज़ी से होगा। उन्होंने बताया कि अब दिल्ली सरकार को अपने स्तर पर इंजीनियरों की भर्ती करने और रिक्त पदों को भरने की शक्ति प्राप्त होगी। उन्होंने रेखांकित किया कि इससे दिल्ली सरकार न केवल इंजीनियरिंग सेवाओं में आत्मनिर्भर बनेगी बल्कि राजधानी के लिए एक विशेषीकृत, स्थानीय अनुभव से संपन्न और दीर्घकाल तक प्रतिबद्ध इंजीनियरिंग तथा पारदर्शी कार्यबल तैयार किया जा सकेगा। सरकार की आशा है कि इस पहल से दिल्ली के नागरिकों को बुनियादी ढांचे, सड़कों, पुलों, भवनों और अन्य निर्माण कार्यों में भी अधिक तीव्रता और गुणवत्ता के साथ सेवाएं प्राप्त होंगी।

राजधानी के कनॉट प्लेस और इंडिया गेट पर नई दिल्ली नगर पालिका परिषद-एनडीएमसी द्वारा “नाइट फ़ूड बाज़ार” स्थापित किया जाएगा। इस योजना के अंतर्गत, 50 से 60 फ़ूड ट्रक रोज़ाना रात साढ़े दस बजे से मध्यरात्रि एक बजे तक चलेंगे, जो विविध प्रकार के भोजन विकल्प प्रदान करेंगे और नागरिकों तथा आगंतुकों के लिए रात्रिकालीन अनुभव को समृद्ध बनाएंगे। एनडीएमसी के उपाध्यक्ष कुलजीत सिंह चहल ने जानकारी दी कि सभी परिषद सदस्यों ने प्रस्ताव का समर्थन किया और सर्वसम्मति से अपनी स्वीकृति दी। संबंधित अधिकारियों को योजना बनाकर अगली परिषद बैठक में प्रस्तुत करने के निर्देश दिए गए है।

ग्रेटर मुंबई नगर निगम – एमसीजीएम शनिवार को पड़ने वाले गणेश विसर्जन के अंतिम दिन अनंत चतुर्दशी के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार है। एक आधिकारिक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार, एमसीजीएम ने व्यापक तैयारियां की हैं, जिसमें मुंबई भर में 70 प्राकृतिक विसर्जन स्थलों और लगभग 290 कृत्रिम तालाबों पर सुविधाएं स्थापित करना शामिल है। नागरिक निकाय ने वाहनों को रेत में डूबने से बचाने के लिए समुद्र तटों पर 1,175 स्टील प्लेटें लगाई हैं। इसके अलावा, छोटी मूर्तियों को विसर्जित करने के लिए 66 जर्मन राफ्ट लगाए गए हैं, किसी भी घटना को रोकने के लिए 2,178 लाइफगार्ड और 56 मोटरबोट समुद्र तटों पर तैनात रहेंगे। एमसीजीएम ने समन्वय और सुरक्षा के लिए 594 स्थानों पर निर्माल्य कलश, 245 नियंत्रण कक्ष और 129 वॉचटावर भी स्थापित किए हैं।

उत्तर-पश्चिम बंगाल की खाड़ी के ऊपर बना निम्न दबाव का क्षेत्र बुधवार को एक सुस्पष्ट निम्न दबाव क्षेत्र में बदल गया है। अगले 24 घंटों में इसके पश्चिम-उत्तर-पश्चिम की ओर ओडिशा, झारखंड और छत्तीसगढ़ की ओर बढ़ने की उम्मीद है। अलीपुर मौसम विभाग ने बुधवार को दक्षिण 24 परगना, पश्चिमी मिदनापुर और झारग्राम जिलों में गरज के साथ भारी बारिश का अनुमान लगाया है। दक्षिण बंगाल के उत्तर और दक्षिण 24 परगना, पश्चिम बर्धमान, झारग्राम, बांकुरा, पुरुलिया और बीरभूम सहित कई जिलों के लिए गुरुवार के लिए भी येलो अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। मछुआरों को सलाह दी गई है कि वे गुरुवार को पश्चिम बंगाल के तट से दूर समुद्र में न जाएँ।

मोहनलाल विष्णु पंड्या :: तो इस क्रम में आज सबसे पहला नाम है मोहनलाल विष्णु पंड्या का जिनका (जन्म- संवत 1907 विक्रमी) में हुआ था! मोहनलाल विष्णु पंड्या का भारतेंदु कालीन हिन्दी सेवियों में प्रमुख स्थान है। इन्होंने ‘रासो संरक्षा’ नामक पुस्तक लिखी थी। अपने लेखों के कारण मोहनलाल विष्णु पंड्या ‘नागरी प्रचारिणी सभा’ से प्रकाशित होने वाले ‘पृथ्वीराज रासो’ के प्रधान संपादक मनोनीत हुए थे। मोहनलाल विष्णु पंड्या ने ‘पृथ्वीराज रासो’ का बाईस खंडो में संपादन किया। रासो के संपादन में बाबू श्यामसुंदर दास और कृष्णदास इनके सहायक थे। इनके द्वारा लिखित मुख्य रचनाओं में शामिल हैं -‘रासो संरक्षा’, ‘पृथ्वीराज रासो’ आदि!

धर्मवीर भारती -अब जानकारी आधुनिक हिन्दी साहित्य के प्रमुख लेखक, कवि, नाटककार और सामाजिक विचारक डॉ. धर्मवीर भारती के बारे में जिनका (जन्म हुआ – 25 दिसंबर, 1926 – और निधन 4 सितंबर, 1997) को। वे साप्ताहिक पत्रिका ‘धर्मयुग’ के प्रधान संपादक भी रहे। डॉ. धर्मवीर भारती को 1972 में पद्मश्री से सम्मानित किया गया। उनका उपन्यास ‘गुनाहों का देवता’ हिन्दी साहित्य के इतिहास में सदाबहार माना जाता है।’गुनाहों का देवता’, ‘सूरज का सातवाँ घोड़ा’, ‘अंधायुग’ आदि उनके द्वारा लिखित मुख्य रचनाओं में शामिल हैं!

दादा भाई नौरोजी – जयंतियों में आज सबसे पहला नाम है – दादा भाई नौरोजी का जिनका (जन्म- 4 सितंबर, 1825 ई. मुम्बई; मृत्यु- 30 जून, 1917 ई. मुम्बई) को ‘भारतीय राजनीति का पितामह’ कहा जाता है। वह दिग्गज राजनेता, उद्योगपति, शिक्षाविद और विचारक भी थे। श्री दादाभाई नौरोजी का शैक्षिक पक्ष अत्यन्त उज्ज्वल रहा। 1845 में एल्फिन्स्टन कॉलेज में गणित के प्राध्यापक हुए। यहाँ के एक अंग्रेज़ी प्राध्यापक ने इन्हें ‘भारत की आशा’ की संज्ञा दी। अनेक संगठनों का निर्माण दादाभाई ने किया। 1851 में गुजराती भाषा में ‘रस्त गफ्तार’ साप्ताहिक निकालना प्रारम्भ किया। 1867 में ‘ईस्ट इंडिया एसोसियेशन’ बनाई। अन्यत्र लन्दन के विश्वविद्यालय में गुजराती के प्रोफेसर बने। 1869 में भारत वापस आए। यहाँ पर उनका 30,000 रु की थैली व सम्मान-पत्र से स्वागत हुआ। 1885 में ‘बम्बई विधान परिषद’ के सदस्य बने। 1886 में ‘होलबार्न क्षेत्र’ से पार्लियामेंट के लिए चुनाव लड़ा, लेकिन असफल रहे। 1886 में फिन्सबरी क्षेत्र से पार्लियामेंट के लिए निर्वाचित हुए। ‘पावर्टी एण्ड अनब्रिटिश रूल इन इण्डिया’ पुस्तक लिखी, जो अपने समय की महती कृति थी। 1886 व 1906 ई. में वह ‘इंडियन नेशनल कांग्रेस’ के अध्यक्ष बनाए गए।

He was a member of Les Six—also known as The Group of Six—and one of the most prolific composers of the 20th century. His compositions are influenced by jazz and Brazilian music and make extensive use of polytonality. Milhaud is considered one of the key modernist composers. He taught many future jazz and classical composers, including Burt Bacharach, Dave Brubeck, Philip Glass, Steve Reich, György Kurtág, Karlheinz Stockhausen and Iannis Xenakis among others.

सियारामशरण गुप्त – आगे बढ़ते हैं और अब जानकारी देते हैं हिन्दी के प्रसिद्ध साहित्यकार और राष्ट्रकवि मैथिलीशरण गुप्त के छोटे भाई सियारामशरण गुप्त के बारे में जिनका (जन्म: 4 सितंबर, 1895; और निधन : 29 मार्च, 1963) को। उन पर गाँधीवाद का विशेष प्रभाव रहा है। इसलिये उनकी रचनाओं में रुणा, सत्य-अहिंसा की मार्मिक अभिव्यक्ति मिलती है। हिन्दी साहित्य में उन्हें एक कवि के रुप में विशेष ख्याति प्राप्त हुई लेकिन एक मूर्धन्य कथाकार के रूप में भी उन्होंने कथा साहित्य में भी अपना स्थान बनाया। इनके द्वारा लिखित मुख्य रचनाओं में शामिल हैं -खण्डकाव्य- अनाथ, आर्द्रा, विषाद, दूर्वा दल, बापू; काव्यग्रन्थ- दैनिकी नकुल, जय हिन्द, पाथेय, मृण्मयी तथा आत्मोसर्ग; उपन्यास- अन्तिम आकांक्षा तथा नारी और गोद।

ऋषि कपूर – और कार्यक्रम के अंत में बात सुप्रसिद्ध हिन्दी फ़िल्म अभिनेता, निर्माता व निर्देशक ऋषि कपूर के बारे में जिनका (जन्म- 4 सितंबर, 1952, चेंबूर, मुंबई; और निधन – 30 अप्रॅल, 2020, मुंबई, महाराष्ट्र), में हुआ था। एक बाल कलाकार के रूप में काम कर उन्होंने अपने अभिनय की शुरुआत कर दी थी।
ऋषि कपूर को फ़िल्म ‘बॉबी’ के लिए 1974 में सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेता के लिए फ़िल्मफ़ेयर पुरस्कार और साथ ही 2008 में फ़िल्मफेयर लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट पुरस्कार सहित अन्य पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित किया गया। ऋषि कपूर ने अपनी पहली फ़िल्म ‘मेरा नाम जोकर’ में शानदार भूमिका के लिए 1971 में राष्ट्रीय फ़िल्म पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया था। ऋषि कपूर ने सन 1998 में अक्षय खन्ना और ऐश्वर्या राय बच्चन अभिनीत फ़िल्म ‘आ अब लौट चले’ का निर्देशन किया था। वैसे ऋषि कपूर की कुछ मुख्य फिल्मों के नाम हैं -‘बॉबी’, ‘प्रेम रोग’, ‘अमर अकबर एन्थॉनी’, ‘चाँदनी’, ‘नसीब अपना अपना’, ‘खानदान’, ‘दीवाना’ आदि। लेकिन फ़िलहाल सुन लेते हैं ऋषि कपूर की फिल्मों के कुछ ख़ास (गीतों की मेडली )
Rishi Kapoor (4 September 1952 – 30 April 2020) : actor, film director, and producer who worked in Hindi films. In a career spanning 50 years, he is regarded as one of the most successful and accomplished actors in Hindi cinema. Kapoor was the recipient of several accolades, including a National Film Award and four Filmfare Awards. he made his debut, in his father Raj Kapoor’s film Mera Naam Joker, for which he won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist. As an adult, his first lead role was opposite Dimple Kapadia in the teen romance Bobby, which won him the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. Between 1973 and 2000, Kapoor starred as the romantic lead in MPRE THAN 90 FILMS . He starred in several successful films from the mid-1970s to the 1990s, such as Kabhi Kabhie, Laila Majnu, Amar Akbar Anthony, Hum Kisise Kum Nahin, Sargam, Naseeb, Kaatilon Ke Kaatil, Prem Rog, Coolie, Nagina, Chandni, Henna, Deewana, Bol Radha Bol and Damini. He also received acclaim for his performances in Khel Khel Mein, Rafoo Chakkar, Barood, Naya Daur, Jhoota Kahin Ka, Karz Several of his films in the 1980s and 90s – Khel Khel Mein, Karz and Chandni – became massive box office hits. He was a skilful dancer and some of his films had songs that are massively popular even today. Kapoor made a successful on-screen pair with actress Neetu Singh.
