भारतीय अंतरिक्ष यात्री ग्रुप कैप्टन शुभांशु शुक्ला आज तड़के नई दिल्ली पहुंचे। केंद्रीय मंत्री जितेंद्र सिंह, दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता और भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन के अध्यक्ष डॉ. वी. नारायणन ने हवाईअड्डे पर उनका स्वागत किया। श्री शुक्ला 15 जुलाई को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष केंद्र से लौटे हैं। वे अंतरराष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष केंद्र जाने वाले पहले भारतीय हैं।
शुभांशु ने नासा के एक्सिओम-4 मिशन का नेतृत्व किया था। इसे 25 जून को फ्लोरिडा के कैनेडी स्पेस सेंटर से प्रक्षेपित किया गया था। मिशन के दौरान, शुभांशु ने अंतरिक्ष में अभूतपूर्व सूक्ष्म-गुरुत्वाकर्षण प्रयोग किए।
शुभांशु भारत के प्रथम अंतरिक्ष यान मिशन गगनयान के लिए चुने गए अंतरिक्ष यात्रियों में से एक हैं। इसे अगले वर्ष के अंत तक प्रक्षेपित किये जाने की संभावना है।

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has said that utmost transparency is the hallmark of electoral roll preparation as per law, rules and guidelines. In a statement, the poll body said that political parties were involved at every stage of preparing electoral rolls, which is a multi-stage exercise. The ECI has criticised political parties and individuals for raising concerns over alleged errors in electoral rolls from previous elections. The poll body said that the appropriate time to raise any issue with the Electoral Rolls would have been during the Claims and Objections period of that phase, which is precisely the objective behind sharing the Electoral Rolls with all Political Parties and the Candidates. The Election Commission clarified that had such issues been flagged during the stipulated time, they could have been examined and, if genuine, corrected by the Electoral Registration Officers before the elections. The commission also highlighted that several political parties and their Booth Level Agents failed to review the draft rolls during the appropriate time and did not raise objections.

श्री गोयल ने कहा कि सरकार ने विनिर्माण क्षेत्र में भारत को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने के लिए कई प्रयास किए हैं। इसके परिणामस्वरूप, भारत में मोबाइल विनिर्माण इकाइयों की संख्या 300 से अधिक हो गई है, जबकि 2014 में इनकी संख्या महज दो थी। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत अब मोबाइल आयातक नहीं, बल्कि दुनिया का दूसरा सबसे बड़ा मोबाइल फोन निर्माता देश है। श्री गोयल ने कहा कि इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स क्षेत्र में रोजगार के काफी अवसर पैदा हुए हैं।

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa, and Telangana today. The IMD forecast extreme heavy rainfall conditions over some parts of Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, West Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat tomorrow. The weather agency has also predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall over Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Mahe, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Yanam during the next two days. According to the Met Department, Delhi-NCR is expected to witness light rainfall conditions during the next 2-3 days.

मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने कहा है कि दिल्ली सरकार यमुना के अविरल और निर्मल प्रवाह को बहाल करने के लिए पूरी तरह प्रतिबद्ध है। मीडिया से बातचीत में उन्होंने कहा कि हिन्दु धर्म और मान्यताओं में यमुना का महत्व अधिक है और यह लोगों की आस्था से जुड़ी हुई है। उन्होंने सभी दिल्लीवासियों और श्रद्धालुओं से एक स्वच्छ और अविरल यमुना के सपने को साकार करने के लिए जनभागीदारी के लिए आग्रह किया।

दिल्ली को कूड़े से आज़ादी अभियान के तहत दिल्ली नगर निगम-एमसीडी ने अब तक शहर से 10 हजार किलोग्राम से अधिक कचरा एकत्र किया है। नगर निगम ने बताया कि इस अभियान के अंतर्गत 1 से 14 अगस्त तक उन्होंने स्वच्छता और कचरा प्रबंधन में उल्लेखनीय प्रगति हासिल की है। एमसीडी ने व्यापक कचरा संग्रहण और प्रबंधन के लिए प्रतिदिन औसतन 12 हजार मीट्रिक टन ठोस अपशिष्ट और रेलवे पटरियों के आसपास से करीब छह सौ नब्बे मीट्रिक टन ठोस अपशिष्ट उठाया है। वहीं, शहर के सौंदर्यीकरण हेतू 35 हजार से अधिक पोस्टर और बैनर सार्वजनिक स्थलों से हटाए गए हैं तथा 160 दीवारों का सौंदर्यीकरण किया गया। हरित आवरण और वृक्षारोपण पहल के अंतर्गत एमसीडी ने 6 से 8 अगस्त तक लगभग 30 हजार वृक्षारोपण अभियान चलाए, जिससे दिल्ली के हरित आवरण को सुदृढ़ किया गया। इसके अतिरिक्त, जनजागरूकता और लोगों की भागीदारी बढ़ाने के लिए 419 जनजागरूकता अभियानों का आयोजन किया गया और करीब 2 लाख 61 हजार नागरिकों को स्वच्छता शपथ दिलाई गई। नगर निगम ने बताया कि यह अभियान दिल्ली को एक स्वच्छ, हरा-भरा और स्वस्थ शहर बनाने की उनकी प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाता है। इस दौरान व्यापक स्वच्छता अभियानों, बड़े पैमाने पर जनसहभागिता तथा लक्षित कचरा प्रबंधन रणनीतियों को सफलतापूर्वक लागू किया गया।

दिल्ली पुलिस ने शहर में प्रतिबंधित चीनी मांझा बेचने में शामिल तीन व्यक्तियों को गिरफ्तार कर चीनी मांझे के 68 रोल बरामद किए। खुफिया जानकारी मिलने पर पुलिस की अपराध शाखा ने न्यू सीलमपुर और संगम विहार स्थित दुकानों से मांझे के रोल जब्त किए। पुलिस ने बताया कि यह कार्रवाई पतंगबाजी की घटनाओं पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए की गई है, जो नागरिकों की सुरक्षा के प्रति उनकी प्रतिबद्धता दर्शाती है।

लोकमान्य तिलक टर्मिनस स्थित मध्य रेलवे की पार्सल कार्यालय टीम ने रेलवे की पार्सल बुकिंग प्रणाली के माध्यम से प्रतिबंधित तंबाकू उत्पादों के परिवहन का पता लगाया है। शुक्रवार को लोकमान्य तिलक टर्मिनस पर गाडी संख्या 12168 बनारस-लोकमान्य तिलक टर्मिनस सुपरफास्ट एक्सप्रेस से आए पार्सल की नियमित जाँच के दौरान, पार्सल कार्यालय दल ने वाराणसी से बुक किए गए 3 पैकेजों को निगरानी में लिया। बुकिंग पर्चियों में पैक किए गए सामान माउथ फ्रेशनर के रूप में दिखाए गए थे, हालाँकि विस्तृत जाँच से पता चला कि पैकेजों में लगभग सात लाख रुपये मूल्य के सिगरेट के पैकेट थे। मामले में कार्रवाही जारी है।

कोलकाता में कल राजनीतिक तनाव की स्थिति पैदा हुई। तनाव की मुख्य वजह एक होटल में “द बंगाल फाइल्स” के ट्रेलर के प्रदर्शन पर रोक लगा रही। विवेक अग्निहोत्री द्वारा निर्देशित “द बंगाल फाइल्स” 16 अगस्त 1946 की कलकत्ता हत्याकांड सांप्रदायिक हिंसा की घटना पर आधारित है, जो जिन्ना द्वारा 16 अगस्त 1947 को “डायरेक्ट एक्शन डे” घोषित किए जाने के बाद घटित हुई थी।
आरोप है कि होटल प्रशासन ने फिल्म के प्रदर्शन को रोका, जिसे होटल प्रशासन ने अस्वीकार कर दिया। घटना के बाद कोलकाता पुलिस के अधिकारी होटल पहुँचे। निर्देशक विवेक अग्निहोत्री ने इस घटना में राज्य सरकार और पुलिस की भूमिका पर सवाल उठाए। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि राज्य सरकार के दबाव के कारण ट्रेलर के प्रदर्शन पर रोक लगाई गई। यह दूसरी बार है जब पश्चिम बंगाल में ट्रेलर के प्रदर्शन पर रोक लगाई गई है। भाजपा ने इस घटना में तृणमूल कांग्रेस की कथित संलिप्तता की आलोचना की।

Chennai unified metropolitan transport authority will roll out a single ticketing app in the first week of September to integrate Metro Rail, MTC buses, Namma Yatri autos and cabs. MRTS and suburban trains will be added later this year. While cities like Mumbai and Bengaluru already have integrated ticketing for buses and metros, Chennai’s app will make it the first initiative in India to bring cabs, autos, buses , metros and trains onto one platform. The project, costing around 8.75 crore Rupees in labour and establishment expenses, is backed by a primary contract with Namma Yatri and MOUs with MTC and CMRL.

The Madras High Court has said that in the absence of an adoption deed necessary for issuing a legal heir certificate to the adopted persons, authorities should consider other relevant documents and make a decision. Justice N. Anand Venkatesh disposed of a petition whose online application for a legal heir certificate was rejected by a Tahsildar said that even though the petitioner did not have an adoption deed, there were other documents that confirmed the identity of the adopted parents who are no more.

The Gulbarga Mystics registered a 10 wicket victory over the Shivamogga Lions at Maharaja Trophy held in Mysuru yesterday. Shivamogga had scored 127 runs losing five wickets in 15.5 overs when rain stopped the play. The score was fixed at 92 runs when the match resumed again. Gulbarga Mystics touched the score in 6.3 overs without losing any of their wickets. Chasing the revised target, Luvnith Sisodia hit 58 runs in 24 balls and his partner Nikin Jose 34 in 15 balls to taste victory over Shivamogga. This was their fourth consecutive loss. The Mystics have won two out of four matches they have played in this tournament.

This guided tour in the Art Gallery Campus provided basic understanding of the common and uncommon trees that grow on the three acre campus. In Telangana, low-lying areas have been inundated at several places in Adilabad, Khammam and Mancherial districts yesterday due to incessant heavy rains that are lashing for the past few days. The downpour caused waterlogging on roads and inundation in low-lying areas at several places. Rivulets and other are on spate leading to disruption of road links between villages. Officials estimate the loss at hundreds of crores as work to rebuild the roads is going on. State Roads and Buildings Minister K. Venkat Reddy reviewed the situation yesterday with senior engineers. He said damage has been reported at 454 spots, covering 629 km of the road network. Of these, 22 stretches were washed away, with traffic restored on four through temporary measures. Connectivity disruptions at 108 critical points have been partially resolved, with 71 locations already cleared. He asked engineers to conduct immediate inspections at culverts, causeways, and bridges, and to closely coordinate with the police, irrigation, revenue, electricity, and Panchayat Raj departments.

मदन लाल ढींगरा :: आज पुण्यतिथि है महान भारतीय स्वतंत्रता सेनानी मदन लाल ढींगरा की। स्वतंत्रत भारत के निर्माण के लिए भारत-माता के कितने ही सपूतों ने हंसते-हंसते अपने प्राणों का उत्सर्ग किया था, उन्हीं महान् शूरवीरों में ‘अमर शहीद मदन लाल ढींगरा’ का नाम स्वर्णाक्षरों में लिखे जाने योग्य है। उनका का जन्म 18 सितंबर 1883 को अमृतसर में हुआ था। मात्र 25 साल की उम्र में वह देश के लिए बलिदान हो गए थे। उनके पिता दित्तामल जी पेशे से एक सिविल सर्जन थे और उनका झुकाव अंग्रेजों की तरफ था। वहीं, मां भारतीय संस्कारों को मानने वाली महिला थीं। उनका परिवार अंग्रेजों का खास और विश्वासपात्र माना जाता था, लेकिन मदनलाल ढींगरा का स्वभाव इसके उलट था। साल 1909 में पगड़ी संभाल जट्टा आंदोलन चल रहा था। एक जुलाई को इंडियन नेशनल एसोसिएशन के एनुअल फंक्शन में बड़ी संख्या में भारतीय और अंग्रेज इकट्ठा हुए। इस कार्यक्रम के दौरान जैसे ही भारत सचिव के राजनीतिक सलाहकार सर विलियम हट कर्नल वायली कार्यक्रम में पहुंचे, वैसे ही मदनलाल ढींगरा ने उनके चेहरे पर 5 गोली दाग दीं। हत्या के आरोप में उन पर मुकदमा चला। 23 जुलाई, 1909 को हत्या के मामले में पेशी हुई और फांसी की सजा सुनाई गई। सजा सुनाए जाने के दौरान उन्होंने कहा, मुझे गर्व है कि मैं अपना जीवन देश को समर्पित कर रहा हूं और 17 अगस्त, 1909 को लंदन की पेंटविले जेल में उन्हें फांसी की सजा दी गई और देश के लिए वो शहीद हो गए।

अमृतलाल नागर :: आज जानेमाने साहित्यकार अमृतलाल नागर की जयंती है। नागर जी का जन्म 17 अगस्त 1916 को आगरा के गोकुलपुरा में हुआ था। 55 वर्ष के लेखनकाल में उन्होंने बेहद विस्तृत और वैविध्यपूर्ण साहित्य रचा है। बाल साहित्य, कविताएं, कहानियां, उपन्यास, व्यंग्य, अनुवाद, संपादन, संस्मरण नाटक, रेडियो नाटक व फीचर, साहित्य की ऐसी कौन सी विधा जो नागर जी ने नहीं रची। इस रचना प्रक्रिया की शुरुआत 1932 में हुई। पहले मेघराज इंद्र के नाम से कविताएं लिखीं। ‘तस्लीम लखनवी’ नाम से व्यंग्यपूर्ण स्केच और निबंध लिखे। कहानियां, मूल नाम अमृतलाल नागर से ही लिखीं। पहला कहानी संग्रह, ‘वाटिका’ वर्ष 1935 में प्रकाशित हुआ था। 1956 में प्रकाशित, ‘बूंद और समुद्र’ बड़ा उपन्यास है जो लखनऊ के चौक मोहल्लों और गलियों के किरदारों से रूबरू करवाता है। ‘अमृत और विष’ 1965 में आत्मकथा शैली में लिखा गया जिसे 1967 में साहित्य अकादेमी पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुआ । ‘एकदा नैमिषारण्य’ में भारत के पौराणिक और ऐतिहासिक अतीत के दर्शन होते हैं। 1972 में आया ‘मानस का हंस’ और 1977 में प्रकाशित ‘नाच्यौ बहुत गोपाल’ नागर जी का प्रतिनिधि साहित्य कहा जाता है। ‘मानस का हंस’ महाकवि तुलसीदास की जीवनी है। ‘नाच्यौ बहुत गोपाल’ में सफाईकर्मी समाज और नारी शोषण की संवेदनशील गाथा है। 1980 में रचा गया ‘खंजन नयन’ उपन्यास भक्त कवि सूरदास की जीवनी पर आधारित हैं।

सचिन पिलगांवकर :: आज जन्मदिन है हिंदी अपनी जबरदस्त अदाकारी के हुनर के लिए विख्यात अभिनेता, सचिन पिलगांवकर की। सचिन ने अपने करियर की शुरुआत महज चार साल की उम्र में कर दी थी। बतौर चाइल्ड आर्टिस्ट सचिन ने मराठी फिल्म इंडस्ट्री का रुख किया। सचिन ने राजा परांजपे की मराठी फिल्म ‘हा माझा मार्ग एकला’ में पहली बार काम किया। इतना ही नहीं उन्हें बाल अवस्था में की गई अपनी मराठी फिल्म के लिए राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार से भी सम्मानित किया गया था। बतौर चाइल्ड आर्टिस्ट सचिन ने करीब 15 फिल्मों में काम किया। मराठी फिल्मों में काम कर चुके सचिन ने फिल्म ‘डाकघर’ से हिंदी फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में कदम रखा। यह उनकी पहली बॉलीवुड फिल्म थी। ऋषिकेश मुखर्जी के निर्देशन में बनी इस फिल्म में दो दिग्गज कलाकारों के साथ स्क्रीन साझा करने के बाद सचिन ने बॉलीवुड की कई फिल्मों में काम किया। हिंदी सिनेमा की इन फिल्मों में ‘ज्वैल थीफ’, ‘चंदा और बिजली’, ‘ब्रह्मचारी’ और ‘मेला’ जैसी फिल्मों का नाम शामिल है। सचिन को अपनी जिंदगी का पहला लीड रोल, बतौर हीरो फिल्म ‘गीत गाता चल’ में मिला था। राजश्री प्रोडक्शन के बैनर तले बनी इस फिल्म में उनकी हीरोइन सारिका थीं। यह फिल्म बॉक्स ऑफिस पर सफल रही थी। आइए सुनते हैं इस फिल्म से ये गीत…
इसकी सफलता के बाद माने सचिन की तो लॉट्री ही लग गई। सचिन को लीड एक्टर के तौर पर कईं फिल्में मिलीं। ये दोनों कलाकार फिर साल 1976 में ‘बालिका वधु’, ‘कॉलेज गर्ल’ जैसी फिल्मों में साथ काम करते नजर आए। नदिया के पार भी उनकी काफी लोकप्रिय फिल्म रही जिसके गाने काफी पसंद किय गये।
सचिन ने लीड रोल के अलावा कई फिल्मों में अच्छे सपोर्टिंग रोल भी निभाए हैं। उन्होंने त्रिशूल, शोले, अवतार, सुर संगम और सत्ते पर सत्ता जैसी फिल्मों में शानदार अभिनय किया लेकिन इसके बाद उन्होंने निर्देशन की ओर अपना रुख किया। बता दें सचिन ने अपने करियर में 65 से ज्यादा फिल्मों में बतौर अभिनेता और 50 से ज्यादा फिल्मों में निर्देशक के रूप में काम किया है।
