गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा है कि नरेन्द्र मोदी सरकार जम्मू-कश्मीर को आतंकवाद मुक्त बनाने तथा क्षेत्र में शांति और स्थिरता लाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। पहलगाम आतंकवादी हमले के जवाब में भारत के सशक्त, सफल और निर्णायक ऑपरेशन सिंदूर पर राज्यसभा में हुई चर्चा के जवाब में गृह मंत्री ने कहा कि भारत ने आतंकवादियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की।
गृह मंत्री ने ऑपरेशन महादेव की सफलता के लिए सशस्त्र बलों और सुरक्षा एजेंसियों की भूमिका की सराहना की।
गृह मंत्री ने कहा कि पाकिस्तान ने भारत से संपर्क किया और ऑपरेशन रोकने की अपील की।
श्री शाह ने कांग्रेस पर वोट बैंक और तुष्टिकरण की राजनीति के लिए आतंकवाद के प्रति नरम रुख अपनाने का आरोप लगाया। गृह मंत्री के जवाब के दौरान, विपक्ष ने ऑपरेशन सिंदूर पर प्रधानमंत्री के जवाब की मांग करते हुए सदन से बहिर्गमन किया।

सरकार ने बताया है कि फिलहाल देश में आकाशवाणी के 585 एफएम स्टेशन और 388 निजी एफएम रेडियो स्टेशन कार्यरत हैं। सूचना और प्रसारण राज्य मंत्री डॉ. एल. मुरूगन ने लोकसभा में एक प्रश्न के लिखित उत्तर में यह जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि पिछले वर्ष अगस्त में सरकार ने एफएम चैनल रहित देश के 234 शहरों में 730 निजी एफएम चैनल की ई-नीलामी को मंजूरी दी थी। इन क्षेत्रों में जम्मू-कश्मीर के तीन चैनल भी शामिल हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि इन नए चैनलों के लिए वार्षिक लाइसेंस शुल्क सकल राजस्व का चार प्रतिशत होगा। डॉ. मुरूगन ने बताया कि पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों और जम्मू-कश्मीर के लिए चैनल के शुरू होने से तीन वर्ष की अवधि के लिए यह शुल्क सकल राजस्व का दो प्रतिशत होगा।

Commission member V. Kannadasan issued the order in response to a complaint filed by K. Devamani, the mother of the affected woman, Subbulakshmi. The complaint alleged medical negligence and inhumane treatment by staff at the health centre, which reportedly led to the stillbirth.

मुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि अभियान में सामुदायिक भागीदारी को बढाने के लिए प्रोत्साहन राशि भी निर्धारित की है।

Marking the World Day Against Human Trafficking, Telangana Labour Minister G. Vivek Venkataswamy yesterday launched a toll-free helpline- 8069434343 to report cases of bonded labour across the state. The initiative was announced during a state-level conference titled “The Way to Freedom”, held in Hyderabad.
The Minister assured that the Labour Department will take immediate action on complaints received through the helpline. As part of the state’s broader rehabilitation efforts, he also announced that rescued bonded labourers will be given priority for Indiraamma housing allocations. The Minister stated that February 9 will be observed every year as Bonded Labour Abolition Day in Telangana, commemorating the commitment to eradicating bonded labour. Over 200 survivors from various districts of Telangana participated in the conference.

हम याद कर रहे हैं, पंजाब के महान् क्रान्तिकारी अमर शहीद उधम सिंह को, जिन्होंने भारत की आज़ादी की लड़ाई में अहम योगदान दिया था। अमर शहीद ऊधम सिंह ने 13 अप्रैल, 1919 ई. को पंजाब में हुए भीषण जलियाँवाला बाग़ हत्याकांड के उत्तरदायी माइकल ओ’डायर की लंदन में गोली मारकर हत्या करके निर्दोष भारतीय लोगों की मौत का बदला लिया था।

सोने और खाने का नाम ज़िंदगी नहीं है। आगे बढ़ते रहने की लगन का नाम ज़िंदगी है।……ये कहना था हिन्दी और उर्दू के महानतम भारतीय लेखकों में से एक प्रेमचंद का। मूल नाम धनपत राय श्रीवास्तव, प्रेमचंद को नवाब राय और मुंशी प्रेमचंद के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। उपन्यास के क्षेत्र में उनके योगदान को देखकर बंगाल के विख्यात उपन्यासकार शरतचंद्र चट्टोपाध्याय ने उन्हें उपन्यास सम्राट कहकर संबोधित किया था। प्रेमचंद ने हिन्दी कहानी और उपन्यास की एक ऐसी परंपरा का विकास किया, जिसने पूरी सदी के साहित्य का मार्गदर्शन किया। उन्होंने मनुष्य के सभी वर्गों से लेकर पशु-पक्षियों तक को अपनी कहानियों में मुख्य पात्र बनाया है। उनकी कहानियों में किसानों, मजदूरों, स्त्रियों, दलितों, आदि की समस्याएं गंभीरता से चित्रित हुई हैं। उन्होंने समाजसुधार, देशप्रेम, स्वाधीनता संग्राम आदि से संबंधित कहानियाँ लिखी हैं। उनकी ऐतिहासिक कहानियों के साथ प्रेम संबंधी कहानियां भी काफी लोकप्रिय साबित हुईं जिसमें ग़बन, गोदान, बड़े घर की बेटी, नमक का दारोग़ा, पूस की रात आदि शामिल हैं।

आज ही जयंती है, भारतीय विद्वान, भाषाशास्त्री और गणितज्ञ, दामोदर धर्मानंद कोसंबी की। गणित के अलावा, उन्होंने भारत के इतिहास और संस्कृति में भी अतुलनीय योगदान दिया है। दामोदर धर्मानंद ने सोलह वर्षों तक ‘टाटा इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ फंडामेंटल रिसर्च’ में सेवा की। धर्मानंद जी ने प्राचीन भारतीय इतिहास और संस्कृति के क्षेत्र में विशेष योगदान दिया है।

हिंदी सिनेमा में दिग्गज गायकों का जिक्र जब भी होता है, तो उसमें सुरों के बेताज बादशाह कहे जाने वाले मोहम्मद रफी का नाम जरूर आता है। मोहम्मद रफी की आवाज में जो दर्द था वो सुनने वाले के दिल में उतर जाया करता था। कहा जाता है कि कि वो संगीतकार से ये भी नहीं पूछते थे कि उन्हें गाना गाने के कितने रुपये मिलेंगे।
Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent. Rafi was notable for his versatility and range of voice; his songs varied from fast, peppy numbers to patriotic songs, sad numbers to highly romantic songs, qawwalis to ghazals and bhajans to classical songs.
He is known for his ability to mould his voice to the persona and style of the actor lip-syncing the song on screen in the movie.
He received six Filmfare Awards and one National Film Award in India. In 1967, he was honored with the Padma Shri award by the Government of India. In 2001, Rafi was honoured with the “Best Singer of the Millennium” title by Hero Honda and Stardust magazine. In 2013, Rafi was voted for the Greatest Voice in Hindi Cinema in a CNN-IBN poll.
He recorded songs for over a thousand Hindi films and in many Indian languages as well as some foreign languages, though primarily in Urdu and Punjabi, over which he had a strong command. He recorded as many as 7,000 songs throughout his career, spanning several languages such as Konkani, Assamese, Bhojpuri, Odia, Bengali, Marathi, Sindhi, Kannada, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Magahi, Maithili, etc. Apart from Indian languages, he also sang in some foreign languages, including English, Persian, Arabic, Sinhala, Mauritian Creole, and Dutch.
