Ministry of Railways has rationalised the basic fare of passenger train services to be effective from today. The train fares will be increased marginally for non-AC Mail and Express trains by one paisa per kilometer and for AC classes by two paisa per kilometer. The Ministry has said that there will be no increase in suburban single journey fares and monthly season tickets. The Ministry said that reservation fees, superfast surcharges and other charges will remain unchanged. It highlighted that the move is aimed at streamlining fare structures and enhancing financial sustainability of passenger services.

Tamil Nadu Government has given a boost to green transport. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has inaugurated a fleet of 120 blue-coloured, non-AC electric buses at the Vyasarpadi bus depot, built at a cost of 47.5 crore rupees. Each electric bus is designed to travel up to 200 km on a single charge, with recharging completed in about two hours. The interiors feature modern, comfortable seating arrangements and digital displays to enhance commuter service. The electric buses include ramps at the entry doors, making them accessible for passengers with mobility challenges. Each EV bus is equipped with CCTV cameras, USB charging ports, and various other features, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride for all passengers.

वहीं, दिल्ली पुलिस ने सरकार के आदेश के बाद इंड-ऑफ-लाइफ वाहनों के विरूद्ध कार्रवाई के लिए पूरी तैयारी कर ली है। यातायात विभाग के अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त दिनेश कुमार गुप्ता ने बताया कि इसके लिए समर्पित यातायात टीमें गठित की गई हैं। पेट्रोल न देने के लिए सभी पेट्रोल पंपों पर पुलिस तीन पारियों में चौबीसों घंटे तैनात रहेंगे। अगर आप के वाहन की भी समय-सीमा समाप्त हो गई है तो कृपया आप इसे न चलाएं और इस मुहिम में सरकार का सहयोग करें।

दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने कल ‘विकसित दिल्ली मुख्यमंत्री इंटर्नशिप कार्यक्रम’ की शुरूआत की। इस कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत दिल्ली के युवाओं को दिल्ली सरकार के साथ काम करने का अवसर मिलेगा।
इस कार्यक्रम के तहत 150 युवाओं का चयन किया जाएगा, जो तीन महीनों तक दिल्ली सरकार के विभिन्न विभागों, वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों और जमीनी परियोजनाओं के साथ प्रत्यक्ष रूप से कार्य करेंगे। सबसे पहले, ऑनलाइन आवेदन के तहत अभ्यर्थियों की सोच, नेतृत्व क्षमता, नागरिक दृष्टिकोण और प्रशासन की समझ को परखा जाएगा। इसके बाद 300 चयनित अभ्यर्थियों को एक दिवसीय बूट कैंप में आमंत्रित किया जाएगा, जिसमें संवाद, कार्यशालाएं और अंतिम निबंध लेखन के जरिए 150 युवा चुने जाएंगे। हर इंटर्न को तीन महीने तक बीस हजार रुपये मासिक मानदेय दिया जाएगा, ताकि उनका समर्पण और श्रम सम्मानित हो सके।

Nagar by the end of this year. He stated that this will help prevent flooding in the surrounding areas. He was inspecting various locations in the South Zone yesterday. A stormwater drain over a kilometre long is being constructed in J.P. Nagar to prevent flooding during the rainy season. Maheshwar Rao also ordered the removal of silt from the side drains and instructed that it be disposed of properly. The senior officer emphasized that safety must be ensured at the construction site to prevent any untoward incidents.

It is the nationwide drive by the Union home ministry to trace, rescue, and rehabilitate missing children. राम उग्रह पांडेय ने 1971 में भारत-पाकिस्तान युद्ध के दौरान अदम्य साहस का परिचय देते हुए दुश्मन के कई बंकर को ध्वस्त कर दुश्मन को पीछे हटने पर मजबूर कर दिया था। देश की रक्षा में अपने प्राणों की आहुति देने वाले शहीद राम उग्रह पांडे को मरणोपरांत सेना के महान पदक ‘महावीर चक्र’ से विभूषित किया गया।

आज ही जन्मदिन है देश के सुप्रसिद्ध बाँसुरी वादक पंडित हरिप्रसाद चौरसिया की। भारतीय बांसुरी वादन कला को वैश्विक पहचान दिलाने में पंडित हरिप्रसाद चौरसिया की भूमिका अतुलनीय है।
अपने एक इंटरव्यू में पंडित हरी प्रसाद चौरसिया कहते हैं की ये मेरा जीवन सिर्फ सीखने का है और वो जो भी हैं अपने गुरु की वजह से हैं।

Hariprasad Chaurasia (born 1 July 1938) music director and classical flautist, who plays the bansuri in the Hindustani classical tradition. his performances and compositions brought global recognition to the bansuri, a simple side-blown bamboo flute.
Unlike most other noted musicians of his generation, Chaurasia was not born into a family of musicians. Although he studied stenography and wrestling to please his father, a professional wrestler, he took clandestine voice lessons in Hindustani classical music from noted Benares (Varanasi) vocalist Raja Ram. After hearing a performance in his early teens by Bholanath, a well-known flutist of Benares, Chaurasia became his disciple and underwent eight years of rigorous training. In 1958 he performed and composed music for the All India Radio (AIR) in Cuttack, Orissa. When he was transferred by AIR to Bombay (now Mumbai), Chaurasia played prolifically both for the film industry and at concerts. पंडित हरिप्रसाद चौरसिया ने बांसुरी के जरिए शास्त्रीय संगीत को तो लोकप्रिय बनाने का काम किया ही,साथ ही संतूर वादक पंडित शिवशंकर शर्मा के साथ मिलकर ‘शिव-हरि’ नाम से कुछ हिन्दी फ़िल्मों में मधुर संगीत भी दिया। इस जोड़ी की फिल्मों में – चांदनी, डर, लम्हे, सिलसिला, फासले, विजय और साहिबान का संगीत काफी लोकप्रिय हुआ । इसके अलावा पंडित जी ने बालीवुड के प्रसिद्ध संगीतकारों सचिन देव बर्मन और राहुल देव बर्मन की भी कुछ फ़िल्मों में बांसुरी वादन किया।
पंडित हरिप्रसाद चौरसिया को कई अंतरराष्ट्रीय सम्मानों से नवाजा गया। इन्हें फ्रांसीसी सरकार का ‘नाइट आफ दि आर्डर आफ आर्ट्स एंड लेटर्स’ पुरस्कार मिला । पंडित हरिप्रसाद चौरसिया को कला क्षेत्र में भारत सरकार द्वारा सन 2000 में पद्म विभूषण से सम्मानित किया गया। इसके आलावा अन्य पुरस्कारों में उन्हें 1984 में संगीत नाटक अकादमी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया।
