A very happy Wednesday is extremely special, this date, 25th june , reminds us of Lord’s London where India made history. Team India won their maiden Cricket World cup in 1983 which was played between India and the West Indies.
Mohinder Amarnath was awarded the man of the match and the captain of the team Kapil Dev along with the entire team met the then Indian President Giani Zail Singh after their return to India post winning the world cup. I’m sure every Indian remembers the moment with pride and excitement.

जब कलम थाम दी गई, आवाज दबा दी गई, लोकतंत्र को कैद कर दिया गया और देशभर में आपातकाल घोषित कर दिया गया। तब हमारे संविधान के ऊपर खतरा मंडराने लगा। आज हम संविधान हत्या दिवस मना रहे हैं। यह दिन 25 जून 1975 को संविधान को कुचलने की घटनाओं का स्मरण करता है। आज हम उन सभी लोगों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित कर रहें हैं, जिन्होंने आपातकाल के कारण ज्यादतियों का सामना किया था।
Samvidhaan Hatya Diwas will be observed today. It serves as a reminder of what happened when the Constitution of India was trampled over on 25th June 1975. It is also a day to pay homage to each and every person who suffered due to the excesses of the Emergency.
“The Emergency was declared in a backdrop of mounting political unrest and judicial developments that shook the legitimacy of the ruling leadership. Parliament passed a series of constitutional amendments during the Emergency that weakened judicial review and institutional checks.
Sharing his thoughts in the Mann Ki Baat programme of Akashvani, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, Emergency was the darkest chapter of Indian history.
The Shah Commission of Inquiry found that over 1.07 crore sterilisations were conducted nationwide during the Emergency, around 26 thousand government and public sector employees were retired prematurely during the period and Parliamentary and judicial proceedings were censored and Court judgements were edited or controlled in their published form. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has criticized Congress for imposing emergency in 1975 saying that the reason was not to protect the country’s security but to save the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s power. Mr Shah said this while addressing a commemoration event ‘Aapatkal Ke 50 Saal’ in New Delhi. He urged everyone to remember that lakhs of people sacrificed their lives, careers, and families to fight for the democracy of this country. Mr Shah noted that the country won this fight because the people will never tolerate dictatorship.
The Minister also said that people of this country were put behind the bars only for having the thought of being free. He said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a book on it and it will be launched today. He added that the book is based on the struggles and the developments that took place during and after the emergency. Mr. Shah also questioned several opposition parties for standing with Congress alleging that it was Congress party which undermined democracy during the emergency.

भारत के शुभांशु शुक्ला को अंतरिक्ष मे ले जाने वाले एक्सिओम-4 मिशन को भारतीय समयानुसार आज दोपहर बारह बजकर एक मिनट पर अमरीका में फ्लोरिडा के कैनेडी अंतरिक्ष केन्द्र से प्रक्षेपित किया जाएगा। भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन-इसरो ने कहा है कि 28 घंटे की यात्रा के बाद एक्सिओम-4 कल शाम चार बजकर तीस मिनट पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष केन्द्र से जुड़ेगा। इस मिशन को पहले 29 मई को प्रक्षेपित किया जाना था। लेकिन, तकनीकी गड़बडि़यों, मौसम की स्थिति और रिसाव के कारण इसमें बार-बार देर हुई।
“इस ऐतिहासिक मिशन के माध्यम से अमरीका, भारत, पोलैंड और हंगरी के चार लोगों को पृथ्वी की निम्न कक्षा में वैज्ञानिक प्रयोगों के लिए चौदह दिन की यात्रा पर अंतररराष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष केन्द्र में भेजा जाएगा। इन यात्रियों में भारत के शुभांशु शुक्ला, पोलैंड के स्लावोस उजानान्स्की, हंगरी के तिबोर कापू और अमरीका के पेगी ह्विस्टन शामिल हैं। नासा के ह्विस्टन इस मिशन के कमांडर होंगे, जबकि शुभांशु शुक्ला 1984 में अंतरिक्ष यात्रा पर गए राकेश शर्मा के बाद दूसरे भारतीय होंगे। वहीं, उजानान्स्की और कापू पोलैंड और हंगरी का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे। ये अंतरिक्ष यात्री दो सप्ताह अंतरराष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष केन्द्र पर रहेंगे और कई प्रकार के वैज्ञानिक प्रयोग तथा अनुसंधान करेंगे। इनमें, सूक्ष्म गुरुत्व से संबंधित शोध, प्रौद्योगिकी से संबंधित प्रदर्शन और अन्य प्रयोग शामिल हैं। अंतरिक्ष यात्री 31 देशों के लिए साठ वैज्ञानिक अध्ययन करेंगे। एएक्स-4 मिशन से नासा, इसरो और अन्य अंतरराष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष एजेंसियों के बीच सहयोग बढ़ेगा तथा भविष्य में अंतरिक्ष से संबंधित अनुसंधान के लिए मार्ग प्रशस्त होगा। अशोक शुक्ला की रिपोर्ट के साथ समाचार कक्ष से–दीपमाला कौशिक।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with the Prime Minister of Mauritius, Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam. In a social media post, the Prime Minister said that both leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to further deepen the enhanced strategic partnership between the two countries. Mr. Modi also reiterated India’s steadfast commitment to the development priorities of Mauritius in line with Vision MAHASAGAR and India’s Neighbourhood First policy. Both leaders also discussed the ongoing cooperation across a broad range of areas, including development partnership, capacity building, defence, maritime security, digital infrastructure, and people-to-people ties.

वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने कहा है कि वैश्विक उथल-पुथल के बावजूद भारत सामूहिक राष्ट्रीय प्रयास से 2027 तक पांच ट्रिलियन अमरीकी डॉलर की अर्थव्यवस्था बनने की राह पर मजबूती से आगे बढ़ रहा है। श्री गोयल ने कल मर्चेंट्स चैंबर ऑफ कॉमर्स एंड इंडस्ट्री द्वारा आयोजित वर्चुअल सत्र में कहा कि सरकार ने भारतीय दृष्टिकोण के अनुरूप सेवा, सुशासन और नवाचार पर आधारित योजनाबद्ध विकास पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार ने छोटे स्तर पर विकास के बजाय ऐसे विशाल परिवर्तन पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया है जो टिकाऊ हो। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार, व्यापारिक समुदाय, उद्योग जगत और 140 करोड़ देशवासियों सहित सभी हितधारक प्रधानमंत्री के विकसित भारत 2047 के दृष्टिकोण से पूरी तरह से जुड़े हुए हैं।

रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह शंघाई सहयोग संगठन-एससीओ रक्षा मंत्रियों की बैठक में उच्चस्तरीय भारतीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल का नेतृत्व करेंगे। ये बैठक आज से चीन के चिंगदाओ में शुरू होगी। दो दिन की बैठक के दौरान एससीओ के सदस्य देशों के रक्षा मंत्रियों के क्षेत्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा, आतंकरोधी प्रयासों और रक्षा मंत्रालयों के बीच बढ़ते सहयोग जैसे कई महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों पर चर्चा करने की संभावना है।
इस वर्ष एससीओ बैठक की अध्यक्षता चीन कर रहा है। इसका विषय है “शंघाई दृष्टिकोण के साथ एससीओ की प्रगति।” भारत बहुपक्षवाद, क्षेत्रीय सुरक्षा, आर्थिक सहयोग और लोगों के बीच आपसी जुड़ाव को मजबूत करने के लिए मंच के रूप में एससीओ को उच्च महत्व देता है।

Eleven flights to countries like Qatar, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Muscat and Dubai which were scheduled to depart from Chennai on Monday night and arrive in the early hours of Tuesday were cancelled due to airspace closure over Iran. Indigo flights scheduled to depart to Kuwait at 10.55 pm , Muscat at 11.45 pm, Abu Dhabi at 12.40 am, Doha at 3.55 am, Dubai at 6.35 am and a Qatar Airways flight scheduled to arrive in Chennai at 2.50 am, Indigo flights from Doha at 2.50 am, Kuwait at 10.20 am, Abu Dhabi at 10.25 am and an Air India Express flight from Kuwait scheduled to arrive at 6.55 am were also announced as cancelled.

Karnataka Large and Medium Industries minister M B Patil has assured agitating farmers in Channarayapatna that their land will not be acquired for the proposed hi tech Defence and Aerospace park. He was speaking to the media persons after a meeting with Devanahalli MLA and Bengaluru Rural district in charge minister K H Muniyappa in Bengaluru. M B Patil announced that 495 acres of land in three villages will be excluded from acquisition and requested the farmers to call off their agitation.

Telangana state government is in the process of incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into its famed Telangana Industrial Project Approval and Self-Certification System (TG-iPASS), the industrial approval system. The TG-iPass has been instrumental in helping attract multi-million-dollar investments to the State in the past 10 years, while serving as a model for others.
State Industries and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu announced the decision to integrate AI into the TG-iPASS, during an interaction with a delegation of French business representatives that met him at the State Secretariat.

नई दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन में आज से नई पार्किंग व्यवस्था लागू की जा रही है। इस नई योजना का मुख्य उद्देश्य स्टेशन पर जाम को कम करना, भीड़ को नियंत्रित करना और यात्रियों को छोड़ने व लेने की प्रक्रिया को आसान बनाना है।
दिल्ली सरकार ने राजधानी की सड़कों को सुरक्षित, सुगम और गड्ढा-मुक्त बनाने की दिशा में एक दिन लगभग चौदह सौ किलोमीटर सड़कों पर चौतीस सौ से अधिक गड्ढों को भरकर एक नया रिकॉर्ड कायम किया जा रहा है।
दिल्ली-गाज़ियाबाद-मेरठ नमो भारत कॉरिडोर पर नमो भारत ट्रेनों में खोई वस्तुओं को यात्रियों तक वापस पहुंचाने के उद्देश्य से राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र परिवहन निगम द्वारा गाज़ियाबाद स्टेशन पर खोया-पाया केन्द्र बनाया गया है। इस केन्द्र की मदद से अब तक यात्रियों द्वारा भूली गई 160 से अधिक मूल्यवान वस्तुएँ वापस लौटाई गई हैं।
इस सुविधा का इस्तेमाल करने के लिए यात्री नमो भारत कनेक्ट ऐप में मौजूद खोया-पाया केन्द्र के विकल्प में नमो भारत स्टाफ को मिली वस्तुओं की सूची में अपने खोये हुए सामान की जानकारी हासिल कर सकते हैं। अपनी वस्तु की पहचान करने के बाद यात्री गाज़ियाबाद नमो भारत स्टेशन में बने केंद्र में संपर्क कर सकते हैं।
दिल्ली सरकार ने फैसला लिया है कि कांवड़ यात्रा से संबिधत पंजीकृत समितियों को आर्थिक सहायता प्रत्यक्ष लाभ अंतरण – डीबीटी के माध्यम से दी जाएगी और सभी अनुमतियाँ सिंगल विंडो सिस्टम से 72 घंटे में अनिवार्य रूप से जारी होंगी। मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता के नेतृत्व वाली कैबिनेट बैठक में यह फैसला लिया गया है।

मुंबई महानगर क्षेत्र विकास प्राधिकरण (MMRDA) ने मेट्रो विस्तार में तेजी लाने और शहर भर में एकीकृत परिवहन प्रणालियों को बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से बारह हजार करोड़ से अधिक के अनुबंधों को मंजूरी दी है। दो सौ 84वीं कार्यकारी समिति के दौरान ये मंजूरी दी गई। मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस और उपमुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे, के नेतृत्व में प्राधिकरण ने सिस्टम एकीकरण, सिविल कार्य, रोलिंग स्टॉक, ट्रैक्शन पावर, AFC (स्वचालित किराया संग्रह) सिस्टम, डिपो इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर और मल्टी-मॉडल एकीकरण को कवर करने वाले 19 महत्वपूर्ण अनुबंधों को मंजूरी दी।

मोहन रानाडे (पुण्यतिथि)
आज गोवा की स्वतंत्रता में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाने वाले स्वतंत्रता सेनानी मोहन रानाडे की पुण्यतिथि है। उन्होंने पुर्तग़ाली शासन के खिलाफ गोवा के स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में भाग लिया था। उन्होंने ‘आजाद गोमान्तक दल’ की स्थापना की। इस दल ने पुर्तगालियों के विरुद्ध सशस्त्र विद्रोह किया। उन्हें सामाजिक कार्य के लिए 1986 में ‘गोवा पुरस्कार’ और भारत सरकार द्वारा पद्म श्री से सम्मानित किया गया।

कैप्टन मनोज कुमार पांडेय (जयंती)
आज परमवीर चक्र से सम्मानित कैप्टन मनोज कुमार पांडेय की जयंती है। पाकिस्तान के साथ करगिल का युद्ध बहुत से कारणों से विशेष कहा जाता है। एक तो यह युद्ध बेहद कठिन और ऊँची चोटियों पर लड़ा गया, जो बर्फ से ढकी और दुर्गम थीं, साथ ही यह युद्ध पाकिस्तान की लम्बी तैयारी का नतीजा था, जिसकी योजना उसके मन में बरसों से पल रही थीं। इसी युद्ध के कठिन मोर्चों में एक मोर्चा खालूबार का था जिसको फ़तह करने के लिए कमर कस कर कैप्टन मनोज कुमार पांडे अपनी 1/11 गोरखा राइफल्स की अगुवाई करते हुए दुश्मन से जूझ गए और जीत कर ही माने। भले ही, इस कोशिश में उन्हें अपने प्राणों का बलिदान देना पड़ा। उन्हें सन 1999 में मरणोपरांत परमवीर चक्र से सम्मानित किया गया ।
