The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has condemned the Pahalgam terror attack, saying the attack could not have occurred without financial backing. The global watchdog said in a statement that the Pahalgam attack and other recent attacks could not have happened without money and means to move funds between terrorist supporters. The FATF reaffirmed its support to over 200 jurisdictions within its Global Network to build and enhance their counter-financing of terrorism measures. It will will soon release a comprehensive analysis of terrorist financing, compiling cases provided by the Global Network.

सरकार ने देश के अलग अलग भागों में दो हजार ड्राइविंग प्रशिक्षण स्कूल खोलने का निर्णय लिया है। नई दिल्ली में एक कार्यक्रम में केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने कहा कि ये प्रशिक्षण स्कूल देश के पिछड़े और जनजातीय क्षेत्रों में खोले जाएंगे और इससे युवाओं के लिए रोजगार के अवसर उपलब्ध होंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि देश में करीब 22 लाख ड्राइवरों की कमी है और ये प्रशिक्षण स्कूल कुशल ड्राइवरों की कमी को पूरा करने में सहायक होंगे।
श्री गडकरी ने यह भी कहा कि उनके मंत्रालय ने सड़क दुर्घटनाओं को कम करने के लिए भी कई कदम उठाए हैं। उन्होंने लोगों से यातायात नियमों का पालन करने का आह्वान भी किया।

Of these, 83 mortal remains have already been handed over to the families of the victims. The ban of bike taxi services in Karnataka causes a lot of difficulties to thousands of passengers of Bengaluru city who have been daily depending on it . Bike taxi services was banned with effect from yesterday (monday) following a High Court order upholding the State’s decision. Karnataka Govt banned it since there is no provision for the bike taxi. The absence of a regulatory frame work and the pressure from auto rickshaw drivers compelled to issue ban order.
A regulated inclusive policy could determine the future of bike taxis in Karnataka.

Hyderabad
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Telangana state has questioned Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President and former minister K.T. Rama Rao in the Formula-E case for about eight hours in Hyderabad yesterday. This is the second round of questioning in the case.
A tense situation prevailed at the ACB office throughout the day as a large number of BRS workers tried to gather to show solidarity with Rama Rao.
Talking to media persons at party headquarters later, KTR reiterated that he was not scared of arrest.
Mr Rao alleged that the ACB officials kept asking questions which they had been given, by the bosses in the government.
Mr Rao claimed that the Formula-E race boosted the image of Telangana and alleged that the actions of the Revanth Reddy government were maligning the state.

इंद्रायणी पुल ढहने से हुई मौतों को देखते हुए महाराष्ट्र की मुख्य सचिव सुजाता सौनिक ने कल सोमवार को मुंबई में समीक्षा बैठक की। मानसून के दौरान पर्यटकों की बढ़ती संख्या को देखते हुए सुश्री सौनिक ने स्थानीय प्रशासन को पर्यटकों को संभावित खतरे की जानकारी देने और जानमाल की हानि को रोकने के लिए पर्याप्त साइनबोर्ड और सुरक्षा व्यवस्था करने का निर्देश दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि सुरक्षा व्यवस्था होने तक पर्यटकों को ऐसे स्थानों पर जाने से रोका जाना चाहिए और किसी भी तरह के अतिक्रमण के मामले में सख्त कार्रवाई की जानी चाहिए। हाल ही में मुंब्रा ट्रेन हादसे जैसी रेल दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए सोमवार को समीक्षा बैठक भी हुई। सुश्री सौनिक ने कहा कि रेलवे, मेट्रो अधिकारियों, पुलिस और स्थानीय प्रशासन को ऐसी दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए हाथ मिलाना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि यात्रियों की सुरक्षा के बारे में सोशल मीडिया, एफएम रेडियो, रेलवे स्टेशनों पर घोषणाओं का उपयोग करके घोषणाएं की जानी चाहिए ताकि नागरिक भीड़भाड़ से बचने की कोशिश करें। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसी त्रासदियों के दौरान कोई अफवाह न फैले, इसके लिए भी प्रयास किए जाने चाहिए। मुख्य सचिव ने समीक्षा बैठक कीI
