प्रधानमंत्री ने बुनियादी सुधारों के जरिये भारत में आ रहे बदलावों का उल्लेख किया। उन्होंने कहा कि एक राष्ट्र- एक कर की अवधारणा के तहत माल और सेवा कर-जीएसटी लागू किया गया है, कॉरपोरेट कर दरों को तर्कसंगत बनाया गया है और अनेक पुराने विधान हटाये गये हैं। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि पिछले दस वर्षों में भारत में डिजिटल क्रांति आई है और वित्तीय समावेशन वैश्विक उदाहरण बन गया है।
श्री मोदी ने भविष्य में विकास को गति देने के उपायों का भी उल्लेख किया। उन्होंने कहा कि आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस मिशन, क्वांटम, सेमीकंडक्टर, महत्वपूर्ण खनिज और परमाणु ऊर्जा मिशन जारी हैं। उन्होंने गुजरात के गिफ्ट सिटी में साइप्रस स्टॉक एक्सचेंज और भारत के नेशनल स्टॉक एक्सचेंज के बीच समझौते की सराहना की तथा इसे सीमा पार वित्तीय सहयोग की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम बताया।

गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने कल नई दिल्ली में केन्द्रीय गृह सचिव और अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के साथ जनगणना संबंधी तैयारियों की समीक्षा की। श्री शाह ने एक सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट में कहा कि जनगणना की गजट अधिसूचना आज जारी की जाएगी। इस जनगणना में पहली बार जाति गणना भी शामिल होगी। गृहमंत्री ने कहा कि 34 लाख संगणक और सुपरवाइजर तथा लगभग एक लाख तीस हजार जनगणना कर्मी अत्याधुनिक मोबाइल डिजिटल उपकरणों के साथ यह अभियान संचालित करेंगे। जनगणना दो चरणों में पूरी की जाएगी। पहले चरण में प्रत्येक घर की स्थिति, परिसम्पत्तियां और सुविधाओं संबंधी जानकारी दर्ज की जाएगी। दूसरे चरण में आबादी की गणना, जनसांख्यिकी, सामाजिक-आर्थिक, सांस्कृतिक और प्रत्येक व्यक्ति से संबंधित अन्य विवरण दर्ज किया जाएगा। स्वत: संगणना का प्रावधान भी उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। डेटा संग्रह और भंडारण के समय डेटा सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कड़े उपाय किये जाएंगे।

Three days after the tragic crash of Air India flight AI-171 in Ahmedabad, hospital authorities have confirmed the identification of 80 victims through DNA matching, including former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. Additional Superintendent of Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, Dr. Rajnish Patel, informed the media that as of last night, DNA matching has been completed for 80 victims, and 33 bodies had been handed over to their families.

Gujarat government has declared state mourning today following the tragic demise of former Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. As a mark of respect, the national flag will be flown at half-mast on all government buildings across the state. The mortal remains of the late leader were identified yesterday through DNA matching at the Ahmedabad Civil Hospital. Final rites will be performed with full state honours at Rajkot in this evening. Vijay Rupani served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2016 to 2021. Members of only three deceased passengers are yet to give their DNA samples as they live abroad. They are expected to arrive tomorrow evening.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red color warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall on the west coast of the country. Talking to Akashvani News, IMD senior scientist RK Jenamani said that Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Gujarat are expected to experience thunderstorms with gusty wind and lightning in the next 2 days. He added that the maximum temperature over Northwest India, including Delhi, has reduced drastically yesterday. Dr. Jenamani added that there has not been any progress in Monsoon in any part of India but heavy to very heavy rainfall is still continuing over Konkan, Goa, and Coastal Karnataka. He said in most of the stations temperatures were below 40 degrees Celsius, or normal yesterday.

The second batch of phase 2 of the National Geospatial Knowledge-Based Land Survey of Urban Habitations – NAKSHA Capacity Building Programme will be inaugurated today. Under this training programme 128 Urban Local Bodies (ULB) level and district officers have been nominated. These officers will undergo a week of hands-on training in leveraging modern geospatial technologies for effective urban property surveys at four Centres Of Excellence in Pune, Guwahati, Chandigarh and Mysuru. The second batch will be inaugurated by Department of Land Resources Secretary, Manoj Joshi virtually across the four Centres Of Excellence. The Ministry of Rural Development said, the training aims to equip ULB officers and field staff with the technical and practical skills required to oversee high-accuracy urban land surveys under the NAKSHA programme.

In Boxing, Indian pugilist, Nishant Dev, won his second professional fight, defeating Josue Silva via unanimous decision 60-54 in the Super Welterweight bout at Madison Square Garden in New York. The 24-year-old, who recently turned professional, was victorious in his debut match in January this year, winning against Alton Wiggins via first-round stoppage. The Joint Secretary of Passport Seva Project and Chief Passport Officer Dr.K.J.Srinivasa will inaugurate the new passport seva van service at Tambaram Passport Seva Kendra today. This is the second time that the passport service is being held. Earlier it was held at Krishnagiri District. Regional Passport Officer Vijayakumar will also be present on the occasion. The passport seva van is a citizen friendly initiative designed to improve access to passport services, particularly in areas with appointment wait times. By deploying mobile units, the service aims to bring passport facilities closer to the public, especially those who have been waiting for extended periods. He is also likely to meet the State Government officials during his visit and also review the activities of the Regional passport office and other offices functioning under the Ministry of External Affairs.

The infrastructure projects under the North Chennai Development Scheme have been fast tracked . According to the CMDA Minister P.K.Sekar Babu has said that the Kuthambakkam bus station will be operational by the end of August this year. There are also plans to establish free dialysis centres for the underprivileged in the port and kolathur areas. The infrastructure projects like reconstruction of school buildings, markets and gyms are scheduled for completion by December this year or January next year.

महाराष्ट्र का राज्य परिवहन विभाग आज से “एसटी पास सीधे आपके स्कूल में” नामक एक विशेष अभियान शुरू करने जा रहा है, जिसके अंतर्गत राज्य भर के स्कूलों और कॉलेजों में पढ़ने वाले लाखों छात्रों को उनके शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में सीधे राज्य परिवहन (एसटी) पास मिलेंगे। महाराष्ट्र के परिवहन मंत्री और एमएसआरटीसी के अध्यक्ष प्रताप सरनाईक ने स्थानीय एसटी अधिकारियों को इस पहल को लागू करने का निर्देश दिया है।

अब समय हो गया है कुछ विशेष महानुभावों की पुण्यतिथियों,जयंतियों या जन्मदिन के बारे में बात करने का –
तो इस क्रम में आज सबसे पहला नाम है आचार्य प्रफुल्ल चंद्र राय का, आचार्य प्रफुल्ल चंद्र राय भारत में रसायन विज्ञान के जनक माने जाते हैं। वे एक सादगीपसंद तथा देशभक्त वैज्ञानिक थे, जिन्होंने रसायन प्रौद्योगिकी में देश के स्वावलंबन के लिए अप्रतिम प्रयास किए। ‘
He published around 150 research papers during his lifetime. Many of his articles on science were published in renowned journals of his time. His research included the discovery of the stable compound mercurous nitrite in 1896 while studying nitrite and hyponitrite compounds and their compounds.
He also researched organic compounds containing sulphur, double salt, homomorphism and fluorination.

और अब ज़िक्र महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानी चित्तरंजन दास का जिनका जीवन ‘भारतीय स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन’ में युगांतकारी था। आपका (अंग्रेज़ी:Chittaranjan Das, जन्म- 5 नवंबर, 1870, कोलकाता; और निधन – 16 जून, 1925) को हुआ था! चित्तरंजन दास को प्यार से ‘देशबंधु’ (देश के मित्र) कहा जाता था। ये महान राष्ट्रवादी तथा प्रसिद्ध विधि-शास्त्री थे। चित्तरंजन दास ‘अलीपुर षड़यंत्र काण्ड’ (1908 ई.) के अभियुक्त अरविन्द घोष के बचाव के लिए बचाव पक्ष के वकील थे। ‘असहयोग आंदोलन’ के अवसर पर इन्होंने अपनी वकालत छोड़ दी थी। 1921 ई. में अहमदाबाद में हुए कांग्रेस के अधिवेशन के ये अध्यक्ष थे। ये ‘स्वराज्य पार्टी’ के संस्थापक थे। इन्होंने 1923 में लाहौर तथा 1924 में अहमदाबाद में ‘अखिल भारतीय ट्रेड यूनियन कांग्रेस’ की अध्यक्षता भी की थी।
Deshabandhu Das began a mass movement demanding the release of prisoners which was eventually joined by Mahatma Gandhi. Seeing the success of the Swaraj Party in the Bengal legislature during the campaign encouraged him to abandon his boycott agenda and go for the council entry scheme of Das.

आगे बढ़ते हैं और अपने श्रोताओं को जानकारी देते हैं गुज़रे ज़माने के भारतीय सिने अभिनेता चंद्रशेखर वैद्य के बारे में जिन्हें मुख्यत: चंद्रशेखर के नाम से ही जाना जाता था। आपका (अंग्रेज़ी: Chandrashekhar Vaidya, जन्म- 7 जुलाई, 1922; को हुआ और आपने इस संसार से विदा ली 16 जून, 2021) को। चंद्रशेखर ने वैसे तो कई फ़िल्मों में अभिनय किया लेकिन उन्हें मुख्य पहचान रामानंद सागर के टीवी धारावाहिक ‘रामायण’ में अपने किरदार आर्य सुमंत के कारण मिली जो उन्होंने 65 साल की उम्र में किया था और इस लिहाज़ से चंद्रेशेखर रामायण सीरियल के सबसे बुजुर्ग एक्टर थे। रामायण की कथा के अनुसार सुमंत, महाराजा दशरथ के महामंत्री थे। धारावाहिक में चंद्रशेखर ने सुमंत की भूमिका में जान डाल दी थी।
दरअसल चंद्रशेखर और रामानंद सागर दोनों अच्छे दोस्त थे। चंद्रशेखर का अभिनय कॅरियर सिर्फ रामायण तक सीमित नहीं रहा। उन्होंने 100 से अधिक फिल्मों में छोटे-बड़े रोल किए। उन्होंने 50 से लेकर 90 के दशक तक ‘गेटवे ऑफ इंडिया’, ‘बरसात की रात’, ‘कटी पतंग’, ‘द बर्निंग ट्रेन’, ‘नमक हलाल’, ‘डिस्को डांसर’, ‘शराबी’, ‘त्रिदेव’ जैसी फिल्मों में काम किया। फ़िलहाल सुनते हैं चंद्रशेखर पर फिल्माया गया फिल्म —–का ये गीत !

जयंतियों में आज सबसे पहला नाम है -हिन्दी फ़िल्म जगत् के महान् पार्श्वगायक और संगीतकार हेमन्त कुमार मुखोपाध्याय का जिन्हें हम सब हेमन्त कुमार के नाम से ज़्यादा जानते हैं! आपका (अंग्रेज़ी: Hemanta Kumar Mukhopadhyay, जन्म- 16 जून, 1920, वाराणसी, उत्तर प्रदेश; और निधन – 26 सितम्बर, 1989, पश्चिम बंगाल में हुआ था! वे ‘हेमन्त दा’ के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुए थे, जिनके गीत आज भी श्रोताओं को मंत्रमुग्ध कर देते हैं। बांग्ला और हिन्दी फ़िल्म संगीत की जानी-मानी शख्सियत हेमन्त कुमार न सिर्फ़ मौसिकी के माहिर थे, बल्कि बेहतरीन फ़िल्म निर्माता भी थे। बांग्ला भाषा के अनेक ग़ैर-फ़िल्मी एल्बम को सुर देने वाले हेमन्त कुमार ने कई मशहूर हिन्दी गीतों को भी अपनी मधुर आवाज़ दी थी। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने एक ऐसी फ़िल्म का निर्माण भी किया, जिसे ‘राष्ट्रपति स्वर्ण पदक’ से नवाज़ा। फ़िल्म समीक्षक ज्योति वेंकटेश के मुताबिक़ हेमन्त कुमार अपने दौर के सबसे प्रतिभाशाली फ़नकारों में से थे। संगीत की नब्ज़ का मिज़ाज समझने में दक्ष इस कलाकार को ‘रवींद्र संगीत’ का विशेषज्ञ भी माना जाता था। हेमंत दा ने मृणाल सेन के निर्देशन में एक बंगला फ़िल्म ‘नील आकाशेर नीचे’ का निर्माण किया गया। इस फ़िल्म को ‘राष्ट्रपति स्वर्ण पदक’ मिला था। हेमंत दा ने जिन फिल्मों में सुमधुर संगीत दिया उनमें शामिल हैं -‘अनारकली’, ‘नागिन’, ‘प्यासा’, ‘गंगा जमुना’, ‘फरार’, ‘बात एक रात की’, ‘कोहरा’, ‘झनक-झनक पायल बाजे’, ‘बीस साल बाद’, ‘साहब बीबी और ग़ुलाम’ आदि। शगुन, मुझे इनके गाये गीत बहुत पसंद है तो सुन लेते हैं हेमंत कुमार के गाए गीतों की एक छोटी से मेडली-

अब करते हैं ज़िक्र उर्दू के मशहूर शायर अख़लाक़ मुहम्मद ख़ान ‘शहरयार’ के बारे में जिन्होने उर्दू और हिंदी शायरी में अपना एक खास मुकाम हासिल किया था। अपने खास लहजे,अलहदा अंदाज और सहज भाषा के चलते वह दूसरों से अलग पहचाने गए। ‘शहरयार’ का (अंग्रेज़ी: Akhlaq Mohammed Khan ‘Shahryar’,जन्म- 16 जून, 1936; को हुआ जबकि आपने इस फानी दुनिया से रुखसत ली – 13 फ़रवरी, 2012) को। कुंवर अख़लाक़ मुहम्मद ख़ान उर्दू शेरो-सुख़न की दुनिया में ‘शहरयार’ के नाम से जाने जाते हैं। उन्होंने फिल्मों के लिए भी गीत लिखे। ‘शहरयार’ उर्दू के चौथे साहित्यकार थे, जिन्हें ज्ञानपीठ सम्मान मिला था। इससे पहले फ़िराक गोरखपुरी, क़ुर्रतुल-एन-हैदर और अली सरदार जाफ़री को ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार से नवाज़ा जा चुका था। तो सुन लेते है शहरयार की लिखी ये फिल्मी गजल।
