India has welcomed the signing of the treaty between the United Kingdom and Mauritius on the return of Mauritian sovereignty over the Chagos Archipelago, including Diego Garcia. External Affairs Ministry said in a statement that the formal resolution of the longstanding Chagos dispute through this bilateral treaty is a milestone achievement and a positive development for the region. This is further to the understanding between the two sides reached in October last year, and marks the culmination of the process of decolonization of Mauritius in the spirit of international law and rules-based order.

वैश्विक एजेंसी फिच रेटिंग्स ने अगले पांच वर्ष में भारत की सकल घरेलू उत्पाद यानी जीडीपी वृद्धि दर छह दशमलव चार प्रतिशत रहने का संशोधित अनुमान व्यक्त किया है। एजेंसी के अनुसार, सकल रोजगार में वृद्धि के कारण भारत की अनुमानित जीडीपी वृद्धि दर शून्य दशमलव दो प्रतिशत अधिक रहने की संभावना है। दूसरी तरफ, एजेंसी ने चीन के विकास अनुमान को घटाकर चार दशमलव तीन प्रतिशत कर दिया है जो पहले चार दशमलव छह प्रतिशत था। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष की पिछले महीने जारी रिपोर्ट के अनुसार भी भारत सबसे तेज गति वाला प्रमुख देश बना हुआ है और यह अगले दो वर्ष में छह प्रतिशत से अधिक की वृद्धि वाला एकमात्र देश होगा। अंतरराष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष ने 120 से अधिक देशों के विकास पूर्वानुमान में कटौती की है।

केन्द्रीय अन्वेषण ब्यूरो -सीबीआई ने जम्मू-कश्मीर के पूर्व राज्यपाल सत्यपाल मलिक और पांच अन्य लोगों पर किरू पनबिजली परियोजना में भ्रष्टाचार को लेकर मामला दर्ज किया है। वर्ष 2022 में राज्य सरकार ने किरू पनबिजली परियोजना के निर्माण में 22 सौ करोड़ रुपए के ठेके में भ्रष्टाचार की आशंका व्यक्त करते हुए सीबीआई जांच का अनुरोध किया था। पिछले वर्ष सीबीआई ने इस संबंध में दिल्ली और जम्मू में आठ स्थानों पर छापेमारी की थी। सीबीआई ने जिन लोगों के विरूद्ध मामला दर्ज किया है उनमें चिनाब घाटी बिजली परियोजना के तत्कालीन अध्यक्ष नवीन कुमार चौधरी, परियोजना के अधिकारी एम. एस. बाबू, एम. के. मित्तल, अरुण कुमार मिश्रा और पटेल इंजीनियरिंग लिमिटेड का ठेकेदार शामिल हैं।

The Trump administration has barred Harvard University from taking international students. US Department of Homeland Secretary Kristi Noem has written a letter to the Harvard University in this regard. She said, it’s a privilege, not a right to be able to enrol foreign students at the university.
In her letter, Department of Homeland Secretary said this move by the Trump administration will force existing students to transfer to other schools or lose their legal status. She said that the action should not surprise the university authorities as it was inevitable, as the university failed to comply with the demands of US government. She said, the move will send a clear signal to Harvard and all universities that Trump Administration will enforce the law and root out the evils of anti-Americanism and antisemitism in society and campuses. Noem said if Harvard wants to continue enrolling foreign students, the university will have to comply with the Trumpa administration within 72 hours.
She said US government is holding Harvard accountable for fostering violence, antisemitism, and coordinating with the Chinese Communist Party on its campus. Harvard University has said that the move is a retaliatory action which can cause serious harm to the university. This is Aashish Abraham, Akashvani News Delhi.

Doctors performed a successful liver transplant using robotic arms for a five year old patient at Chennai. The boy had a urea cycle defect, a condition that impairs his body’s ability to process and remove ammonia , a toxic waste from protein metabolism. The doctors opted for a minimally invasive surgical approach after which the child was discharged in less than a week, compared to a hospital stay of at least three weeks in traditional open surgery. Dr.Naresh Shanmugam said that the boy is amongst the youngest recipients of a robotic liver transplant globally. The doctor said that it was due to a genetic condition that his liver did not function properly.

Due to the significant rainfall in Bengaluru, 63 out of 183 lakes have reached full capacity. The total storage capacity of the lakes within the Municipal Corporation limits in Bengaluru is 32,514 million litres. Due to the steady rainfall in the city for a week, the lakes received steady inflow. As on date, all the lakes together have 26, 056 million litres of water in Bengaluru. In April only three lakes were filled to capacity with around 63 lakes nearing complete dryness. The Special Commissioner of the Forest, Environment and Climate Change Management, Preeti Gehlot has informed that cleaning and maintenance activities are currently underway at the sluice gates and also within the filled lakes. The workers are engaged to remove waste, including debris, plastic and other refuse from the lakes and associated storm water drains to ensure proper flow and hygiene.

केन्द्रीय गृह और सहकारिता मंत्री अमित शाह ने कल यमुना की सफाई, पेयजल और सीवेज व्यवस्था के लिए एक होलिस्टिक एप्रोच के साथ कार्य करने के लिए नई दिल्ली में एक उच्चस्तरीय बैठक में निर्देश दिए। बैठक में केन्द्रीय आवासन और शहरी कार्य मंत्री मनोहर लाल, जल शक्ति मंत्री सी आर पाटील और दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता सहित केंद्र तथा दिल्ली सरकार के अनेक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी शामिल थे। बैठक के दौरान श्री शाह ने जल शक्ति मंत्रालय को सभी सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट के लिए एक एस ओ पी बनाने के निर्देश दिए जिससे उनकी गुणवत्ता, रख-रखाव और डिस्चार्ज के मानदंड स्थापित किए जाये।

बीड, नांदेड़ और छत्रपति संभाजीनगर के बाद अब महाराष्ट्र के रायगढ़ जिले के रोहा एमआईडीसी क्षेत्र में टाटा ग्रुप ऑफ कंपनीज और महाराष्ट्र सरकार के सहयोग से 105 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से नया आविष्कार, नवाचार, इनक्यूबेशन और प्रशिक्षण केंद्र या ‘सीट्रिपलआईटी’ स्थापित किया जाएगा। कल जारी एक आधिकारिक मीडिया बयान के अनुसार, टाटा टेक्नोलॉजी ने इस संबंध में उपमुख्यमंत्री अजीत पवार को केंद्रीय मंजूरी का पत्र भेजा है। इस केंद्र के कारण रायगढ़ जिले के युवाओं को उद्योगों की जरूरतों के अनुसार अत्याधुनिक ‘एआई’ तकनीक से रोजगारोन्मुखी कौशल विकास प्रशिक्षण मिलेगा।

Yes, Turtles are a type of reptile that exists in many environments throughout the world and have found their way into literature, poetry, and parable throughout the world’s history.
World Turtle Day celebrates these noble reptiles and their place in the world and encourages people to take action to help protect both the common pet turtle and the ever endangered.

2) Slow down, enjoy the journey.

तो पुण्यतिथियों के क्रम में आज सबसे पहला नाम है – राखालदास बंद्योपाध्याय का जिनका जन्म हुआ – 12 अप्रैल, 1885, मुर्शिदाबाद, बंगाल; और निधन – 23 मई, 1930, कलकत्ता! राखालदास बंद्योपाध्याय भारत के प्रसिद्ध इतिहासकार और पुरातत्त्ववेत्ता थे। ये भारतीय पुराविदों के उस समूह में से एक व्यक्ति थे, जिसमें से अधिकांश ने 20वीं शती के प्रथम चरण में तत्कालीन ‘भारतीय पुरातत्त्व सर्वेक्षण’ के महानिदेशक जॉन मार्शल के सहयोगी के रूप में पुरातात्त्विक उत्खनन, शोध तथा स्मारकों के संरक्षण में विशेष ख्याति प्राप्त की थी।

जयंतियों के क्रम में अब अपने श्रोताओं को जानकारी देते हैं अब वसुंधरा कोमकली के बारे में जिनका जन्म- 23 मई, 1931; और इन्होने इस दुनिया से रुखसत ली – 29 जुलाई, 2015) को ! वसुंधरा कोमकली भारतीय शास्त्रीय संगीतकार थीं। वह भारत के प्रसिद्ध संगीत घराने ‘ग्वालियर घराना’ के प्रमुख प्रतिपादकों में से एक थीं। वसुंधरा कोमकली को ‘वसुंधरा ताई’ के नाम से भी जाना जाता था। वह बहुत ही सुघड़ गायिका थीं। उन्होंने पंडित कुमार गंधर्व की गायन शैली को आगे बढ़ाया था और देवास का नाम रोशन किया।
