दोस्तों आज सप्ताह का पहला दिन सोमवार है। ये वो दिन है जिस का इंतज़ार हम किसी नई शुरूआत के लिए करते हैं, चाहे वो किसी नई स्किल को सीखना हो या खुद को फिट रखने के लिए जिम जाना हो। हम अक्सर इंतज़ार करते हैं और कहते हैं कि इस महीने की पहली तारीख से करेंगे या सोमवार से करेंगे, क्योंकि हमें लगता है कि सोमवार से काम शुरू करने से उसकी शुरूआत सकारात्मक होगी या उसका प्रभाव ज़्यादा होगा और वैसे तो हर दिन अपने आप में खास है और आपको किसी भी चीज़ की शुरूआत करने के लिए किसी खास दिन का इंतज़ार नही करना चाहिए लेकिन फिर भी अगर आप उन लोगों में से हैं जो नए कामो को शुरू करने के लिए हफ्ते के पहले दिन का इंतज़ार करते हैं तो वो दिन आ गया है इसलिए वो नया काम जो आपने कई दिनो से सोमवार पर टाला हुआ था, उसे शुरू करने का वक्त अब आ गया है।

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has formed a committee to investigate the incident in which a PSLV rocket failed to place earth observation satellite, EOS-09 into its intended orbit. ISRO Chairman V Narayanan said that the committee held several rounds of discussions yesterday to identify the cause. ISRO failed to place its earth observation satellite in orbit after Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C61) rocket developed a fault minutes after launch from Sriharikota yesterday. Dr Narayanan said, the rocket is a four-stage vehicle. The first two stages were completed successfully. However, an anomaly was observed in the third stage and the mission could not be accomplished, he said. After a 22-hour countdown, the rocket lifted off as planned at 5.59 am yesterday, and all systems were functioning normally until a point. Responding to a query, Dr Narayanan said, ISRO will proceed with its upcoming launches. He said, the space agency has planned one mission every month this year.

Indian Army has rejected the reports that claimed that the ceasefire between India and Pakistan ended yesterday. According to the Indian Army, there were no Director General of Military Operation (DGMO) level talks scheduled between the Indian and Pakistani side on 18th May. It said, as far as the continuation of a break in hostilities as decided in the DGMOs interaction of 12th May is concerned, there is no expiry date to it.
The last Director General of Military Operation level talks were held on 12th May between India and Pakistan. During the talks, issues related to continuing the commitment that both sides must not fire a single shot or initiate any aggressive and inimical action against each other were discussed. It was also agreed that both sides consider immediate measures to ensure troop reduction from the borders and forward areas.

बैठक के दौरान सुश्री मायावती ने पहलगाम आतंकी हमले के जवाब में ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के तहत भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों की वीरता और साहस की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार को आतंकवाद के खिलाफ मजबूत और प्रभावी कदम उठाना जारी रखना चाहिए ताकि सरकार अपना पूरा ध्यान और संसाधन विकसित भारत की आकांक्षाओं को पूरा करने पर केंद्रित कर सके। उन्होंने कहा कि कश्मीर मुद्दे पर अमरीका या किसी अन्य तीसरे पक्ष के हस्तक्षेप को स्वीकार न करने की राष्ट्रीय सहमति का सख्ती से पालन किया जाना चाहिए।

National Cadet Corps (NCC) has reached a significant milestone as its expedition team successfully scaled Mount Everest. The team comprised of 10 NCC cadets along with four Officers, two Junior Commissioned Officers, One Girl Cadet Instructor and 10 Non-Commissioned Officers. The ten cadets include five boys and five girls. We have a report:
The expedition was flagged-off by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh from New Delhi on 3rd of April. Defence Ministry said that the selected cadets were novices, chosen from across the country. They underwent a strict selection and training process. As part of their preparation, they conducted a pre-Everest Expedition at Mt Abi Gamin. A team of 15 cadets was then selected to undergo winter and technical training at the Army Mountaineering Institute, Siachen Base Camp. After months of training, ten cadets were selected for the Mt Everest Expedition.
The team, comprising the youngest climbers with an average age of 19 years, became the centre of attraction and were noted for their fitness and discipline during acclimatisation training at various stages of the ascent. Sherpas of Nepal praised the NCC team for their physical readiness and morale. Despite facing challenging weather and terrain, the cadets successfully unfurled the Tricolour and the NCC Flag atop the world’s highest peak. मौसम विभाग ने अगले पांच दिनों के दौरान कर्नाटक, कोंकण और गोवा तथा केरल और आसपास के प्रायद्वीपीय भारत में तेज वर्षा का अनुमान व्यक्त किया है। अगले पांच से छह दिनों के दौरान पूर्वोत्तर भारत, उप-हिमालयी पश्चिम बंगाल और सिक्किम में भी गरज और बिजली के साथ तेज वर्षा होने की संभावना व्यक्त की है। आज से इस महीने की 22 तारीख तक पश्चिमी राजस्थान में लू चलने की संभावना है। आज ओडिशा में गर्म और आर्द्र मौसम रहने की संभावना है।
विभाग ने बताया है कि आज से कल तक जम्मू-कश्मीर-लद्दाख-गिलगित-बाल्टिस्तान-मुजफ्फराबाद और हिमाचल प्रदेश में गरज, बिजली और तेज हवाओं के साथ हल्की से मध्यम वर्षा होने का अनुमान है। उत्तराखंड में भी 24 मई तक हल्की से मध्यम वर्षा होने की संभावना है।

The mangrovesof Pichavaram stretches across 1400 hectares between the Vellar and Kollidam estuaries in Cuddalore district. Stand up paddler Kumaran Mahalingam, founder of the Mangrove Bay Eco Camp has been training visitors in Kayaking and paddling at Pichavaram for three years.
Kumaran says slow-moving and non-motorisedboats and water sport activities help people appreciate the mangroves. Pichavaram is gaining attention as a site for star gazing too. Bhavanandhi, founder of Star Voirs, an organisation that conducts astronomy workshops, says the region’s clear skies make it ideal for night sky observations. He said that light and industrial pollution make stargazing difficult in places such as Chidambaram. But Pichavaram has none of those drawbacks.

Tamil Nadu government is preparing a comprehensive plan which includes an incentive and support package and a new framework to collaborate with foreign universities. The government will provide internationally competitive salaries, start up research grants,relocation aid including housing and fast tracked visa processing. The Vice Chairman of Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education M P Vijayakumar said that a registry of overseas Tamil researchers across various disciplines and domains. The council will identify centres of excellence and research chairs in State Universities that can host these scholars. The Council is developing a collaboration framework between state funded institutions and returning researchers.

Karnataka Energy Minister K J George,who is also the district-in-charge Minister in Mhikkamagaluru has assured that steps will be initiated to mitigate raids by the wild elephants in the villages of the Malnad region. He was speaking after a meeting with the senior officials of the forest department in Chikkamagaluru. He agreed that elephant menace is prevailing in Chikkamagaluru, Shivamogga and Hassan districts. He recommended a comprehensive plan involving habitat restoration, community engagement and revamping wildlife corridors to address the issue of elephant attacks across all these districts. The Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council M K Praneshinformed the minister that around 55 elephants are roaming in four to fiveherds in Mudigere taluk and causing significant damage to the crops and coffee plantations apart from causing panic in the residential areas. The Chikkamagaluru district Forest Officer Ramesh Babu informed that there are 35 elephants in the Chikkamagaluru range, 125 in Koppa range and 400 in the Bhadra Wildlife Division. He added that some of these elephants are fitted with collar Ids and their movements tracked through the transmitting signals.

Miss World contestants got a glimpse of Telangana state development journey during their visit to the Police Integrated Command and Control Centre (TGICCC) and the State Secretariat yesterday. As part of the state’s efforts to promote tourism, the contestants learnt about the safety measures, rich culture and the history of the state.
At the TGICCC, the contestants have been introduced to the advanced safety and emergency response systems that monitor the state through various CCTV cameras. They were shown how data from different departments is brought together in one system, to respond quickly during emergencies, traffic jams, or disasters. A live demonstration of traffic monitoring, facial recognition, and the T-SAFE app was presented. They were welcomed by mounted police, a pipe band, a K9 dog show, and an arms exhibition while giving the contestants a closer look at the advanced weaponry and protective gear used by the Telangana police.
Contestants from several countries including India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Wales participated in the floral tribute.

दिल्ली सरकार ने राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में सूक्ष्म खाद्य उद्यमों और स्टार्टअप्स को बढ़ावा देने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री सूक्ष्म खाद्य प्रसंस्करण उद्यम औपचारिकीकरण योजना के तहत इन्क्यूबेशन इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर के विस्तार की घोषणा की। इस योजना के अंतर्गत दिल्ली कौशल एवं उद्यमिता विश्वविद्यालय के माध्यम से शहर के झंडेवालान और वज़ीरपुर इलाके में दो इन्क्यूबेशन सेंटर बनाये जा रहे हैं। दिल्ली के उद्योग मंत्रालय के अनुसार भारत सरकार के खाद्य प्रसंस्करण उद्योग मंत्रालय द्वारा वित्त पोषित इस परियोजना की कुल लागत साढ़े चार करोड़ रुपये है।

His aggressive playing style, poetic songwriting techniques and authorship of two rock operas with the Who, as well as other projects, have earned him critical acclaim.
Townshend has written more than 100 songs for 12 of the Who’s studio albums. These include concept albums, the rock operas Tommy (1969) and Quadrophenia (1973), plus popular rock radio staples such as Who’s Next (1971); as well as dozens more that appeared as non-album singles, bonus tracks on reissues, and tracks on rarities compilation albums such as Odds & Sods (1974). He has also written more than 100 songs that have appeared on his solo albums, as well as radio jingles and television theme songs.
While known primarily as a guitarist, Townshend also plays keyboards, banjo, accordion, harmonica, ukulele, mandolin, violin, synthesiser, bass guitar, and drums; he is self-taught on all of these instruments and plays on his own solo albums, several Who albums, and as a guest contributor to an array of other artists’ recordings. Townshend has also contributed to and authored many newspaper and magazine articles, book reviews, essays, books, and scripts, and he has collaborated as a lyricist and composer for many other musical acts.
In 1983, Townshend received the Brit Award for Lifetime Achievement and in 1990 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Who. Townshend was ranked No. 3 in Dave Marsh’s 1994 list of Best Guitarists in The New Book of Rock Lists. In 2001, he received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award as a member of the Who; and in 2008 he received Kennedy Center Honors. He was ranked No. 10 in Gibson.com’s 2011 list of the top 50 guitarists, and No. 37 on Rolling Stone’s 2023 list of 250 greatest guitarists of all time. He and Roger Daltrey received The George and Ira Gershwin Award for Lifetime Musical Achievement at UCLA on 21 May 2016.

Initially popular for playing Irish traditional music in a duo with Andy Irvine and later with Tommy Peoples and Matt Molloy and solo, he later turned to a more rock-inspired electric style with poignant political lyrics. Some of his most popular songs are his interpretations of the traditional “The Lakes of Pontchartrain” and “Arthur McBride”, and the originals “Crazy Dreams”, “Nothing but the Same Old Story”, “The Island”, “Night Hunting Time”, “Steel Claw”, “Paradise Is Here”, the “The World is What You Make It” and “Once in a Lifetime”.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui born 19 May 1974 is an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi cinema. He is the recipient of various accolades, including a National Film Award, an IIFA Award, and two Filmfare Awards, as well as a nomination for an International Emmy. After studying acting at the National School of Drama, Siddiqui had minor roles in films such as Sarfarosh (1999), Shool (1999), and Munna Bhai M.B.B.S (2003).
Siddiqui first gained recognition for his role in Anurag Kashyap’s Black Friday (2004) and the 2012 Gangs of Wasseypur duology. Further success came for his supporting roles in The Lunchbox (2013), for which he won a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor; Kick (2014); and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015). He went on to gain critical acclaim for his roles in Raman Raghav 2.0 (2016), Raees (2017), Mom (2017), and Manto (2018).
He has also starred in two Emmy-nominated series, Sacred Games (2018–2019) and the British McMafia (2018).
