पीएम-हरियाणा दौरा
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने हरियाणा के लिए लगभग दस हजार करोड़ रुपये की विकास परियोजनाओं का शिलान्यास और शुभारंभ किया। कल डॉ. भीम राव आम्बेडकर जयंती के अवसर पर श्री मोदी ने यमुना नगर में दीनबंधु छोटू राम ताप बिजली संयंत्र में 800 मेगावाट की तीसरी इकाई की आधारशिला रखी। यह परियोजना मौजूदा संयंत्र का विकास है। वर्तमान में इससे तीन सौ मेगावाट की दो इकाइयों का परिचालन होता है। लोकार्पित परियोजना के 52 महीने में पूरी होने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। मार्च 2029 तक इससे व्यवसायिक परिचालन शुरू हो जाने की संभावना है। इस नई इकाई के साथ हरियाणा की बिजली उत्पादन क्षमता बढ़कर तीन हजार तीन सौ 82 मेगावाट हो जाएगी।
प्रधानमंत्री ने इस अवसर पर यमुना नगर में नब्बे करोड़ रुपये लागत के गोबर धन संयंत्र की आधारशिला भी रखी।

The Ministry of Science and Technology in a statement said that Q-Shield enables various services like Qosmos for key generation, QConnect for secured connectivity and QVerse for secured collaboration.
The launch of this platform adds one more step in India’s journey towards global leadership in quantum technology.

लखनऊ के लोक बंधु अस्पताल की दूसरी मंजिल पर कल रात भीषण आग लगने पर दो सौ से अधिक रोगियों को सुरक्षित निकाल लिया गया। मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने घटना का संज्ञान लेते हुए अधिकारियों को रोगियों का तुरंत उपचार सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया। उत्तर प्रदेश के उप-मुख्यमंत्री बृजेश पाठक स्थिति का जायजा लेने कल रात ही घटना स्थल पर पहुंचे। उन्होंने कहा कि अस्पताल के कर्मचारियों और आपात सेवाओं की त्वरित कार्रवाई से रोगियों को सुरक्षित निकाला जा सका।
उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्य सचिव, स्वास्थ्य पार्थ सारथी सेन शर्मा ने बताया कि सभी रोगियों को अन्य अस्पतालों में भर्ती करा दिया गया है।
मुख्य चिकित्सा अधीक्षक डॉ. अजय शंकर त्रिपाठी ने कहा कि शुरुआती जानकारी के अनुसार आग लगने की घटना शॉर्टसर्किट के कारण हुई। उन्होंने कहा कि घटना की विस्तृत जांच कराई जाएगी।

ईरान के परमाणु कार्यक्रम पर अमरीका के साथ उसकी बातचीत का दूसरा दौर शनिवार को रोम में होने की संभावना है। इटली के विदेश मंत्री अंतोनियो ताजानी ने घोषणा की कि दोनों पक्षों और ओमान के आग्रह के बाद इटली बातचीत की मेजबानी पर तैयार हुआ है। ओमान इस बातचीत में मध्यस्थ की भूमिका निभा रहा है। श्री ताजानी ने जापान की यात्रा के दौरान यह जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा कि इटली की सरकार परमाणु मुद्दे के समाधान और शांति को बढ़ावा देने के लिए किसी भी प्रयास में सहयोग के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार है। हालांकि, अभी ईरान या अमरीका ने वार्ता स्थल की पुष्टि नहीं की है।
अमरीका और ईरान के बीच बातचीत का पहला दौर 12 अप्रैल को ओमान में हुआ था। दोनों देशों ने बातचीत को सकारात्मक और रचनात्मक बताया।

Mr Harish said that Dr Ambedkar was a leading figure in India’s freedom struggle and the architect of India’s constitution.

The Indian Coast Guard Station Mandapam successfully executed an anti-poaching operation on Sunday, intercepting a major consignment of illegally harvested sea cucumbers. Acting on specific local intelligence indicating suspicious activity near the beaching point off the North Vedalai sea coast, Coast Guard personnel launched a prompt response. The operation led to the seizure of approximately 145 kilograms of sea cucumbers, valued at Rs. 58 lakh.

The Chennai Central Metro Station is set to open a permanent book park, featuring a vast collection of books from over 50 publishers and sellers. Spread across 5,000 square feet within the station, the space will include 70 bookshelves, a small event hall, reading tables with comfortable seating, and a cafeteria. All books will be available at a 10 per cent discount. The Central Metro Station experiences a daily footfall of up to three lakh passengers.

अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान-एम्स, नई दिल्ली में मरीजों की सुविधा के लिए जांच और सर्जरी की वेटिंग को ऑनलाइन प्रदर्शित करने का निर्णय लिया गया है। इसके लिए अस्पताल प्रशासन ने संबंधित विभाग को भी निर्देश दिये हैं।
दिल्ली-विजेंद्र गुप्ता-ओडिसा यात्रा
दिल्ली विधानसभा अध्यक्ष विजेंद्र गुप्ता आज से तीन दिन की अध्ययन दौरे पर ओडिसा जाएंगे। यह दौरा ओडिशा विधानसभा में राष्ट्रीय ई-विधान अनुप्रयोग के सफल कार्यान्वयन से सीखने और उसका मूल्यांकन करने के लिए आयोजित किया गया है। ओडिशा विधानसभा हाल ही में पूरी तरह से कागजरहित प्रणाली में परिवर्तित हुई है।

Moving on to Bengaluru Metro News
The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has collected 4,930 crore rupees in property tax during the financial year 2024–25, marking an increase of 1,000 crore rupees compared to the 3,918 crore rupees collected in 2023–24. Estimates suggest that property tax collections may rise to 6,000 crore rupees in 2025–26.
A statement issued by the Municipal Corporation attributed the increase to one-time payment incentives offered to defaulters. The civic agency also strengthened IT-based follow-up systems for arrears and current tax dues, improving compliance among property owners.
The Corporation further clarified that it is not introducing a new parking tax. Instead, it is standardising and rationalising the existing parking tax structure.

राज्यपाल-अग्निशमन सेवा सप्ताह
महाराष्ट्र के राज्यपाल सीपी राधाकृष्णन ने राजभवन में राज्य स्तरीय अग्निशमन सेवा सप्ताह का उद्घाटन किया। कल राष्ट्रीय अग्निशमन सेवा दिवस पर मुंबई में उन्होंने राज्य भर से आठ कर्मियों को सराहनीय सेवा के लिए राष्ट्रपति अग्निशमन सेवा पदक से सम्मानित भी किया।
इस दौरान राज्यपाल ने आग पर काबू पाने में आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस के उपयोग पर जोर दिया और महाराष्ट्र में एक समर्पित अग्नि विज्ञान अनुसंधान संस्थान की स्थापना का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने महाराष्ट्र अग्निशमन सेवा कल्याण कोष के लिए धन संग्रह अभियान की भी शुरुआत की और जनता से सहयोग का आग्रह किया।
अग्निशमन सेवा सप्ताह 14 से 20 अप्रैल तक 1944 के बॉम्बे डॉकयार्ड विस्फोट में शहीद हुए अग्निशामकों की याद में मनाया जाता है। इस वर्ष का विषय है – Unite to Ignite: A Fire Safe India.

मुंबई में पानी के टैंकर एसोसिएशन ने शहर के नागरिक प्रमुख के साथ बैठक के बाद कल अपनी चार दिवसीय हड़ताल वापस ले ली। टैंकरों को पानी की आपूर्ति करने वाले निजी कुआं मालिकों को नोटिस जारी करने के बाद बृहन्मुंबई नगरपालिका-बीएमसी ने हड़ताल की शुरुआत पानी की आपूर्ति के रूप की थी।

Telangana State Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy formally launched the Bhu Bharathi portal in Hyderabad last evening. The portal aims to strengthen land security and enhance transparency in land records across the state.
Addressing officials at the launch event, Mr. Reddy said the Bhu Bharathi revenue portal will provide permanent solutions to land-related issues through a dispute-free revenue policy. He also announced that a Bhudhar card will be issued to landowners, containing all relevant information about their land.
The Bhu Bharathi portal has been rolled out on a pilot basis in four mandals: Khammam, Mulugu, Kodangal, and Kamareddy.

वक्फ संशोधन बंगाल
पश्चिम बंगाल के मुर्शिदाबाद जिले में हुई घटना की जांच विशेष जांच दल द्वारा अदालत की निगरानी में कराने के लिए सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में एक याचिका दायर की गई है। याचिकाकर्ता ने सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में एसआईटी जांच की अपील दायर की है कि वक्फ संशोधन अधिनियम पर विरोध प्रदर्शन कानून-व्यवस्था भंग होने की स्थिति में कैसे बदल गए।
इस बीच, सीमा सुरक्षा बल बीएसएफ पूर्वी कमान के अतिरिक्त महानिदेशक रवि गांधी ने कल मुर्शिदाबाद के समशेरगंज का दौरा किया। उन्होंने पश्चिम बंगाल के पुलिस महानिदेशक राजीव कुमार, दक्षिण बंगाल क्षेत्र के अतिरिक्त पुलिस महानिदेशक सुप्रतिम सरकार के साथ समीक्षा बैठक की। इसमें जंगीपुर जिले के वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारी और बंगाल के विभिन्न जिलों के अन्य वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारी मौजूद थे। श्री रवि गांधी ने कहा कि मुर्शिदाबाद के हिंसा प्रभावित इलाकों में शांति-व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए बीएसएफ और पुलिस मिलकर काम करेंगे।
पश्चिम बंगाल-स्काईवॉक उद्घाटन
पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने कल कोलकाता के कालीघाट मंदिर में स्काईवॉक का उद्घाटन किया। उन्होंने हॉकर्स कॉर्नर और पुनर्निर्मित कालीघाट मंदिर को भी आम लोगों के लिए पेश किया। कालीघाट मंदिर स्काईवॉक 435 मीटर लंबा और 10 फीट चौड़ा है। ममता बनर्जी ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार ने इसकी 99 प्रतिशत संवैधानिक लागत वहन की है।

Hasrat Jaipuri, born Iqbal Hussain (15 April 1922 – 17 September 1999), was an Indian poet, who wrote in the Hindi and Urdu languages. He was also a renowned film lyricist in Hindi films, where he won the Filmfare Awards for Best Lyricist twice – in 1966 and 1972. He used to participate in mushairas, or poetry recitation symposiums. At a mushaira, Prithviraj Kapoor noticed Jaipuri and recommended him to his son, Raj Kapoor. Raj Kapoor was planning a musical love story, Barsaat (1949) with Shankar–Jaikishan. Jaipuri wrote his first recorded song, Jiya Beqaraar Hai for the film.
