Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that those who pose a threat to national security will not be allowed to enter India. Replying to a debate on The Immigration and Foreigners Bill, 2025, he said whether it is Rohingya or Bangladeshis, if they come to India to create unrest, strict action will be taken against them. Mr Shah said that the country is not a ‘Dharamshala’ (public resthouse) where anyone can stay as they wish. The Bill was later passed by the Lok Sabha. The Bill is intended to modernise the immigration laws and it has provisions to confer upon the Central Government certain powers with regard to passports, travel documents, visa and registration. The legislation has been brought to avoid multiplicity and overlapping of laws.

महिला और बाल विकास मंत्रालय ने प्रधानमंत्री राष्ट्रीय बाल पुरस्कार के लिए आवेदन आमंत्रित किए हैं। आवेदक पहली अप्रैल से राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार पोर्टल के माध्यम से आवेदन कर सकते हैं। मंत्रालय के बयान के अनुसार भारत में रहने वाले ऐसे बालक जो स्वदेशी नागरिक हैं और 31 जुलाई 2025 तक 5 वर्ष से 18 वर्ष के बीच के आयु वर्ग में शामिल हैं, इन पुरस्कारों के लिए पात्र होंगे। मंत्रालय बहादुरी, खेल, सामाजिक सेवा, विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी, पर्यावरण तथा कला और संस्कृति में उपलब्धियों के लिए असाधारण बालक-बालिकाओं को सम्मानित करने के लिए हर साल प्रधानमंत्री राष्ट्रीय बाल पुरस्कार का आयोजन करता है। ऑनलाइन आवेदन करने की अंतिम तिथि 31 जुलाई है।

President of Chile, Gabriel Boric Font, will be on a five-day state visit to India, starting on 1st of April. He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Ministers, Members of Parliament, senior officials, business associations, media and prominent Chileans involved in the India-Chile cultural connect. This will be President Boric’s first visit to India as President. During the visit, President Boric will hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 1st of April, covering the entire gamut of India-Chile relations. The Prime Minister will host a lunch in honour of the visiting dignitary. President Boric will meet President Droupadi Murmu, who will host a banquet in his honor.

Madhya Pradesh government is working on initiatives to connect the state’s natural, spiritual, and cultural heritage with major religious destinations in Uttar Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh tourism board is focusing on the development of the Ganga-Narmada Tourism Corridor, which aims to enhance tourism collaborations between Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
“The Principal Secretary, Tourism, Culture, and Religious Trusts, Sheo Shekhar Shukla informed that the Ganga-Narmada Tourism Corridor will connect Prayagraj, Varanasi, Ayodhya, Kanpur, and Agra to the Maihar, Bhedaghat, Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlingas in Madhya Pradesh. Moreover, the Ram Path Gaman corridor is being developed to link Chitrakoot with Ayodhya. The Tourism currently contributes around 3-3.5% to Madhya Pradesh’s GDP. Srilankan Navy detained 11 fishermen for investigation at Kangesanthurai camp. They were caught for crossing the territorial waters. On 20th of this month 13 fishermen were arrested for the same reason but they were returned to India after the Indian Embassy facilitated the release.
The Health and Family Welfare Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao and the Vice Minister of Health from Netherlands Barbara Goezinne held a bilateral discussion in Bengaluru today on a possible Indo Dutch collaboration in the area of digital health and AI powered healthtech solutions. Both sides discussed ways to integrate several C CAMP digital health innovations into their public health systems. The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms or C-CAMP in short is Central Government sponsored premier innovation and technology hub and life sciences incubator in the country. Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao informed that several innovations from C CAMP such as eye care and retinopathy treatment, measuring the fetal heart rate in the womb and remote monitoring of patients are implemented in the state.

The Telangana State Legislative Assembly has passed the Appropriation Bill 2025 late in the night yesterday, on the last day of its budget Session amidst heated arguments. The House transacted business for over 97 hours in 11 days of its Budget session. A total of 12 Bills were introduced and passed, including the Scheduled Castes (Rationalisation of Reservation) Bill, 2025, which paves the way for sub-categorisation of reservations for 59 communities within the Scheduled Castes.

राजधानी के सरकारी स्कूलों के छात्रों को नीट और सीयूईटी की प्रवेश परीक्षा की निःशुल्क ऑनलाइन तैयारी के लिए दिल्ली सरकार ने कल राष्ट्रीय कौशल विकास निगम इंटरनेशनल और एक निजी कोचिंग संस्थान के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किया। सरकार ने बताया कि इस समझौता ज्ञापन से एक लाख 63 हजार छात्रों को लाभ मिलेगा। दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता और दिल्ली के शिक्षा मंत्री आशीष सूद की मौजूदगी में यह निर्णय दिल्ली विधानसभा परिसर में लिया गया।
इस समझौता ज्ञापन के अंतर्गत दिल्ली के छात्रों को 2 अप्रैल से 2 मई तक प्रतिदिन 6 घंटे की ऑनलाइन कोचिंग की सुविधा मिलेगी, जिसमें भौतिकी विज्ञान, रसायन विज्ञान, जीव विज्ञान, गणित, सामान्य योग्यता और अंग्रेजी जैसे विषय शामिल है। छात्रों को संरचित संशोधन के लिए पीडीएफ नोट्स के साथ उनकी प्रगति का आंकलन करने के लिए नियमित रूप से परीक्षण और निरंतर सहायता उपलब्ध है।

बॉम्बे हाईकोर्ट ने कल महाराष्ट्र के दो सरकारी अस्पतालों में हुई मौतों की जांच के लिए अल्पकालिक और दीर्घकालिक उपायों की सिफारिश करने और भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाओं को रोकने के उपाय सुझाने के लिए पांच सदस्यीय विशेषज्ञ समिति का गठन किया। समिति उन मुद्दों के समाधान पर ध्यान केंद्रित करेगी, जिनके कारण अक्टूबर 2023 में नांदेड़ के सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेज में शिशुओं सहित 31 से अधिक मौतें और छत्रपति संभाजीनगर सरकारी अस्पताल में 14 मौतें हुईं। मुख्य न्यायाधीश आलोक अराधे और न्यायमूर्ति एमएस कार्णिक की पीठ ने विशेषज्ञ पैनल का गठन किया, जिसमें चिकित्सा और स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान सचिव, स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान निदेशक और जेजे मेडिकल कॉलेज, नांदेड़ मेडिकल कॉलेज और छत्रपति संभाजी नगर मेडिकल कॉलेज के डीन शामिल हैं। समिति दो महीने के भीतर 16 जून तक अदालत को एक व्यापक रिपोर्ट सौंपेगी।

उत्तर बंगाल के सिलीगुड़ी के पास बंगाल सफारी में हाल ही में तीन बाघ शावकों का जन्म हुआ। सफारी में ही जन्मे एक शेर शावक का नामकरण मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी करेंगी। इस शेर शावक का एक भाई था, जिसकी जन्म के कुछ दिनों बाद ही मृत्यु हो गई थी। पिछले साल सफारी में त्रिपुरा के सिपाही जाला चिड़ियाघर से एक शेर और एक शेरनी को लाया गया था। शेरनी ने दो शावकों को जन्म दिया। जन्म के बाद एक की मौत हो गई। सफारी में इस समय कुल 11 बाघ हैं।

Born into a musical family, Rachmaninoff began learning the piano at the age of four. He studied piano and composition at the Moscow Conservatory, from which he graduated in 1892, having already written several compositions. In 1897, following the disastrous premiere of his Symphony No. 1, Rachmaninoff entered a four-year depression and composed little, until supportive therapy allowed him to complete his well-received Piano Concerto No. 2 in 1901. Rachmaninoff went on to become conductor of the Bolshoi Theatre from 1904–1906, and relocated to Dresden, Germany, in 1906. During this time, Rachmaninoff’s primary occupation was performing, and his compositional output decreased significantly, completing just six works after leaving Russia.
