Flight service from Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport to Jammu began yesterday with the first flight taking off from Hindon airport to Jammu at 9.30 AM. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that now it will be easier to go to Mata Vaishno Devi temple from NCR as passengers will not need to go to Delhi Airport to go to Jammu. Rather they will have another option of air travel from the NCR.
The flight from Jammu to Hindon will be at 1 PM which will reach Hindon at 2:30 PM. Air India Express will operate flights between Hindon in Ghaziabad and Jammu six days a week (except Saturdays). The flight will arrive at Jammu 11:30 AM and depart from Jammu for Hindon 1:00 PM.

सरकार ने सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यमों के वर्गीकरण के लिए टर्नओवर और निवेश कसौटी में महत्वपूर्ण संशोधन अधिसूचित किए हैं। ये संशोधन पहली अप्रैल से प्रभावी होंगे। अब ढाई करोड़ रूपए तक के निवेश वाले सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यमों को सूक्ष्म उद्यम के रूप में वर्गीकृत किया जाएगा। पहले इनके लिये निवेश सीमा एक करोड़ रूपए थी। इसी प्रकार टर्नओवर सीमा भी पांच करोड़ रूपए से बढ़ाकर दस करोड़ रूपए कर दी गई है।
25 करोड़ रूपए तक के निवेश वाली इकाईयां लघु उद्यम वर्ग में रखी गई हैं। पहले इनके लिए निवेश सीमा दस करोड़ रूपए थी। इन उद्यमों के लिए टर्नओवर सीमा 50 करोड़ रूपए से दोगुनी कर एक सौ करोड़ रूपए की गयी है।
एक सौ पच्चीस करोड़ रूपए तक के निवेश वाली सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम इकाईयां अब मध्यम उद्यम मानी जाएंगी। पहले इनकी निवेश सीमा पचास करोड़ रूपए थी। मध्यम उद्यमों के लिए टर्नओवर सीमा दोगुनी कर पांच सौ करोड़ रूपए कर दी गई है।
वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारामन ने बजट भाषण के दौरान इन उद्यमों के लिए निवेश और टर्नओवर सीमा क्रमश: ढाई गुना और दोगुना कर नये वर्गीकरण मानदंडों की घोषणा की थी।

छत्तीसगढ के बीजापुर जिले में 22 नक्सलियों ने पुलिस के समक्ष आत्मसर्मपण कर दिया है। इनमें दो महिला शामिल हैं।
जिले के अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक उलनडोन योर्क ने बताया कि जिन नक्सलियों ने आत्मसमर्पण किया है उनमें से छह पर 11 लाख रूपये का ईनाम घोषित किया गया था। राज्य सरकार की पुनर्वास नीति के अंतर्गत इन नक्सलियों को 25-25 हजार रूपये की प्रोत्साहन राशि दी गई है।

The Embassy of India, Kathmandu celebrated the 23rd Golden Jubilee Scholarship Day with the participation of nearly 200 students of Nepal supported by the scholarship. The prestigious Golden Jubilee Scholarship was established in 2002 to commemorate 50 years of India-Nepal economic cooperation. The current batch of scholarship awardees are from 75 districts of Nepal, with about one-third of the scholars being girls. 03 differently abled students have also been selected this year.
The second batch of meritorious Golden Jubilee scholars were awarded the Ambassador’s Golden Jubilee Scholarship Roll of Honour by the Ambassador of India to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava. कार्नी ने कहा कि उन्होंने गर्वनर जनरल से संसद भंग करने और 28 अप्रैल को चुनाव कराने का अनुरोध किया है और यह अनुरोध स्वीकार कर लिया गया है।

The Tamilnadu Government has asked all colleges to encourage their students to apply for summer internships in top research institutions, including the Indian institute of science in Bengaluru, Tata Institute of fundamental research in Hyderabad and Baba Atomic Research Centre in Mumbai. A circular said that the institutes provide a unique opportunity to engage in short term research training at these institutions. These summer schools also have residential programs and offered with minimal fees, making them accessible to students from diverse backgrounds.

The Sports development authority of Tamil Nadu has opened applications for six special sports hostels that provide professional training accomodation and nutritious food for college students excelling in Sports. Students can apply before 6th of April. State level selection trials will be held on April 8th from 7 am at designated venues in Chennai. Applicants must be 17 years old as of January 1, 2025 and enrolled in a college degree or post graduate program. They should have secured top positions in State or National level Sports Competitions.

BENGALURU
The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike has released details of property tax defaulters in Bengaluru. It has informed that out of a total of over 20 lakh property owners in the city, 3.49 lakh owners have not paid their property tax. Again 1.73 lakh among them are chronic defaulters and 1.76 lakh are current year defaulters. The defaulters owe the Government a total amount of 390 crore rupees. The Municipal Corporation has informed that notices, SMS, IVRS calls, attachment notices to the defaulters have not yielded any result. Saying that 10 percent chronic defaulters are standing against 90 percent honest tax payers and against public interest, it has made it clear that its drive against the property tax defaulters will continue.

In Telangana, unseasonal rain along with strong winds have caused widespread damage to crops in the state. Hailstorms hit north Telangana districts during the last two days, damaging standing crops like paddy, maize and mango. Mango farmers have suffered heavy losses from gusty winds that have uprooted trees in some places and damaged the crop which was almost ready for harvest. Paddy kept at market yards for sale in some places also soaked due to the unseasonal rain. The gusty winds also damaged electric poles and transformers, disrupting electricity supply at some places.
Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari reviewed the situation after a hailstorm hit north Telangana. She directed the district administrations to be on alert and accessible to people in view of the forecast of more rain.

एंटी नारकोटिक्स टास्क फोर्स, दिल्ली पुलिस की अपराध शाखा और नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो- एनसीबी द्वारा नशीले पदार्थों की अवैध तस्करी के खिलाफ एक संयुक्त अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इसमें डॉग स्क्वायड की मदद से संदिग्ध स्थानों और सार्वजनिक हॉटस्पॉट पर औचक निरीक्षण पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जा रहा है।
इस अभियान का उद्देश्य अवैध नशीली दवाओं की तस्करी से निपटना है, साथ ही साथ ही निवासियों, छात्रों और यात्रियों सहित विभिन्न समुदाय के सदस्यों के बीच नशीली दवाओं के हानिकारक प्रभावों के प्रति जागरूकता को बढ़ावा देना है।

महाराष्ट्र के स्कूल शिक्षा मंत्री दादा भूसे ने कहा है कि गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा प्रदान करने के लिए सभी सरकारी स्कूलों में सीबीएसई पाठ्यक्रम लागू किया जाएगा। नाशिक में कल मीडिया से बात करते हुए मंत्री ने कहा कि सरकारी स्कूलों में शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता सुधारने के लिए साहसिक निर्णय लेने की आवश्यकता है और शिक्षकों को उसी के अनुसार प्रशिक्षित किया जाएगा।
उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि सीबीएसई की शुरुआत का मतलब बाल भारती या राज्य बोर्ड का अंत नहीं है। पाठ्यक्रम के कुछ पहलुओं को बरकरार रखा जाएगा, जिसमें इतिहास और भूगोल जैसे विषय राज्य के पाठ्यक्रम के तहत जारी रहेंगे। मंत्री ने कहा कि यह नया पाठ्यक्रम इस साल कक्षा 11 के लिए शुरू किया जाएगा, जिसे अगले तीन वर्षों में कक्षा 12 तक विस्तारित करने की योजना है।

टीबी रोगियों की पहचान और आवश्यक चिकित्सा हस्तक्षेप के लिए 7 दिसंबर 2024 से 17 मार्च 2025 तक पूरे देश में चयनित जिलों में 100 दिनों का विशेष अभियान चलाया गया।
पश्चिम बंगाल में आज अंतरराष्ट्रीय टीबी दिवस के उपलक्ष्य पर यह अभियान 19 जिलों में चलाया गया। अभियान के बाद 20 हजार से अधिक टीबी रोगियों की पहचान की गई। राज्य सरकार इस साल तक टीबी को खत्म करने के लिए सभी उपाय कर रही है।

The day is observed on 24th March every year to raise awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of Tuberculosis (TB) and to step up efforts to end the global epidemic. The day is observed to commemorate the anniversary of Dr. Robert Koch’s discovery of the TB bacteria in 1882.
This year’s theme is “Yes! We Can End TB: Commit, Invest, Deliver”. It offers an opportunity to reflect on ongoing efforts and encourage stronger commitment at local, national and international levels to end TB, including by combatting the growing threat of drug-resistant TB.
“The central government has taken several initiatives to eliminate TB in all states and union territories. These include intensified TB case-finding among vulnerable populations, provision of free drugs and diagnostics to TB patients, and providing one thousand rupees per month to the patient under Ni-Kshay Poshan Yojana as nutritional support. Besides, a 100-day TB Elimination Campaign was also launched in identified priority districts across 33 states and UTs to find missing TB cases, reduce TB deaths, and prevent new cases. As per the World Health Organization’s Global TB Report, 2024, the incidence rate of TB in India has shown a 17.7 percent decline. TB is a contagious airborne disease caused mainly by Mycobacterium tuberculosis which most often affects the lungs. TB is spread through the air when people with lung TB cough, sneeze or spit. A person needs to inhale only a few germs to become infected.
The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, in her message on the eve of World Tuberculosis Day, has said:-
“On the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day, I commend the National Campaign being run by the National TB Elimination Programme under the aegis of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to build awareness through public participation.
I urge all stakeholders and participants to work collectively and make India TB free”.

Nelson was born Eugene Leander Berg in Seattle, Washington. He was inspired to become a dancer during his childhood by watching Fred Astaire in films. After serving in the Army during World War II, during which he also performed in the musical This Is the Army, Nelson landed his first Broadway role in Lend an Ear. His performance earned a Theatre World Award. He also appeared onstage in Good News. Nelson’s longtime professional dance partner during the 1950s was actress JoAnn Dean Killingsworth.
Nelson co-starred with Doris Day in Lullaby of Broadway in 1951. He played Will Parker in the film Oklahoma.

मुथुस्वामी दीक्षित को वीणा पर प्रवीणता प्राप्त थी, और वीणा का प्रदर्शन उनकी रचनाओं में स्पष्ट देखा जा सकता है। उन्होंने वायलिन पर भी महारत हासिल की और कर्नाटक संगीत में वायलिन का इस्तेमाल करने की अग्रणी भूमिका निभाई।
उन्होंने भगवान मुरुगन या मुरुगा या कार्तिकेय, की प्रशंसा में कई गीत रचे। पहली कृति, “श्री नाथादि गुरुगुहो जयति” रही। माना जाता है कि दीक्षितर् ने लगभग 3000 से भी अधिक गीतों की रचना की।

Carol Kaye (née Smith; born March 24, 1935) is an American musician. She is one of the most prolific recorded bass guitarists in rock and pop music, playing on an estimated 10,000 recordings in a career spanning over 65 years.
Kaye began playing guitar in her early teens and after some time as a guitar teacher, began to perform regularly on the Los Angeles jazz and big band circuit. She started session work in 1957, and through a connection at Gold Star Studios began working for producers Phil Spector and Brian Wilson. After a bassist failed to turn up to a session in 1963, she switched to that instrument, quickly making a name for herself as one of the most in-demand session players of the 1960s, playing on numerous hits. She moved into playing on film soundtracks in the late 1960s, particularly for Quincy Jones and Lalo Schifrin, and began to release a series of tutoring books such as How To Play The Electric Bass.

William Larry Stewart II (March 24, 1937 – January 17, 1970) was an American R&B singer and pianist popular during the 1960s.
Stewart was 12 years old when he began singing with his younger brothers Johnny, James, and Frank as the Four Stewart Brothers, and they later went on to get their own radio show every Sunday for five years at WUST in Washington, D.C.
By 1955, this led to a recording contract with Diddley’s label, Chess Records and Diddley played guitar on Stewart’s 1956 recording of “Billy’s Blues”. A strong seller in Los Angeles, “Billy’s Blues” reached the sales top 25 in Variety magazine.
He recorded a song called “Fat Boy” and then had additional success with his recordings of “Reap What You Sow” and “Strange Feeling”, both making the Billboard Hot 100 and the Top 30 in the R&B charts.
Major chart success was not far away and in 1965, Stewart recorded two self-written songs, “I Do Love You” which featured his brother Johnny Stewart as one of the backing vocalists with his partner James English, and “Sitting in the Park”. His idiosyncratic improvisational technique of doubling-up, scatting his words and trilling his lips made his style unique in the 1960s.
In 1966, Stewart recorded the LP Unbelievable. The first single released from that album was Stewart’s radical interpretation of the George Gershwin song, “Summertime”, a Top 10 hit on both the pop and R&B charts.
Stewart continued to record throughout the remainder of the 1960s on Chess without major success.

पापोन ने वर्ष 1998 में एल्बम स्निग्धा जुनाक के असमिया गीत “नसाबा सोकुले” से अपने संगीत के सफ़र की शुरुआत की। वर्ष 2004 में उन्होंने अपना पहला एल्बम, जुनाकी राती रिलीज़ किया।
पापोन ने वर्ष 2006 में फ़िल्म स्ट्रिंग्स – बाउंड बाय फेथ के गीत “ओम मंत्र” से बॉलीवुड में अपनी शुरुआत की। 2011 में, उनका गाना फिल्म दम मारो दम का गाना “जियें क्यूं” था जो उनकी पहली बड़ी हिट थी। 2015 में, उन्होंने फिल्म दम लगा के हईशा के लिए “मोह मोह के धागे” और हमारी अधूरी कहानी (2015) में “हमनवा” गाया। 2016 में, उन्होंने फिल्म सुल्तान के लिए “बुल्लेया” गाना गाया।

Pradeep Sarkar (30 April 1955 – 24 March 2023) was an Indian director and screenwriter, best known for directing Parineeta (2005).
Sarkar was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, on 30 April 1955. He was a recipient of the Abby Award, Rapa Award, and the National Film Award. After a 17-year stint in mainstream advertising as a creative director, he started directing advertisement films within the advertising circles of Delhi.
Apart from commercials, Sarkar was also a prolific music video director. Shubha Mudgal’s Ab Ke Saawan, Euphoria’s Dhoom Pichak Dhoom and Maaeri, Sultan Khan’s Piya Basanti, and Bhupen Hazarika’s Ganga are some of his popular works.
After a string of music videos, feature film songs, and over 1000 commercials, Sarkar produced the critically-acclaimed Parineeta, which won the National Film Award in the Best Debut Film of a Director category.
Sarkar also won the Best Debutant Director in Screen Awards and the Hottest Young Director in Stardust Awards in 2006. Parineeta also went on to win five Filmfare Awards.
His next three feature films were Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Lafangey Parindey, and Mardaani, all of which were produced by Yash Raj Films.
