प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने जोर देकर कहा है कि भारत तटस्थ नहीं है बल्कि शांति के लिए मज़बूती से प्रतिबद्ध है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत शांति के बारे में जो भी बोलता है, दुनिया उसे सुनती है, क्योंकि भारत गौतम बुद्ध और महात्मा गांधी की भूमि है। श्री मोदी ने पॉडकास्टर लेक्स फ्रिडमैन के साथ बातचीत में कहा कि भारतीय सद्भाव में विश्वास करते हैं और शांति के समर्थक होते हैं।
आपको बता दें लेक्स फ्रिडमैन अमरीका के पॉडकास्टर हैं। पहले वो कम्पूयटर साइन्टिस्ट थे और बाद में उन्होंने बतौर पॉडकास्टर बहुत ख्याति अर्जित की। उन्होंने राजनीति, विज्ञान, तकनीकी, खेल के क्षेत्रो की जानी मानी प्रतिभाओं का पॉ़डकास्ट किया है जो बेहद लोकप्रिय हुए। फ्रिडमैन ने प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के पॉडकास्ट से पहले लगभग दो दिन का उपवास रखा था और इससे पता चलता है कि इस पॉडकास्ट को लेकर फ्रिडमैन कितने उत्साहित थे और साथ ही प्रधानमंत्री मोदी दुनिया में कितने लोकप्रिय हैं।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold talks with his New Zealand counterpart Christopher Luxon in New Delhi today, covering various aspects of India-New Zealand relations. The visiting leader will also call on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhawan this afternoon.
Mr Luxon arrived in New Delhi yesterday on a five-day visit to India.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Ministers, senior officials, businesses, media and members of the Indian diaspora community. Mr Luxon will also visit Mumbai where he will have interactions with business leaders.

The Trump administration in the United States is considering imposing a new travel ban that could affect citizens from as many as 43 countries, including Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Russia. A draft list of recommendations by security officials proposes categorising countries into three groups -Red, Orange, and Yellow – to restrict travel. Being placed on the Red List would mean a complete ban on entering the United States.
Pakistan and Russia are included in the “Orange List,” which consists of 10 countries facing restricted travel rather than an outright ban. Other countries in the “Orange List” include Myanmar, Belarus, Leone, South Sudan, and Turkmenistan.
The draft also places 10 countries, including Afghanistan, Iran, Libya, North Korea, and Bhutan, on the Red List, meaning their citizens could face a full visa suspension.

मध्य प्रदेश के श्योपुर में कूनो नेशनल पार्क-केएनपी में आज से पांच और चीतों का परिवार घूमते नजर आएगा। मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री मोहन यादव ने सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट में यह जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि दक्षिण अफ्रीका से लाई गई गामिनी जो मादा चीता है उसे कल कूनो नेशनल पार्क में छोड़ा जाएगा। गामिनी के साथ उसके दो नर और दो मादा शावक भी होंगे। इस साल फरवरी महिने में चार चीतों को कूनो नेशनल पार्क में छोड़ा गया था। यह तीसरी बार है जब चीतों को केएनपी में छोड़ा जा रहा है।
आपको बता दे कि इससे पहले प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने अपना 72वां जन्मदिन प्रकृति के बीच मनाया था और उन्होंने इस मौके पर कूनो राष्ट्रीय उद्यान में 8 चीतों को छोड़ा था। इसके बाद उन्होंने इन चीतों की तस्वीरें भी ली थीं। अलग-अलग एंगल से ली गईं ये तस्वीरें अपने आप में बहुत कुछ कह रही थीं और सोशल मीडिया पर यह काफी वायरल भी हुई थी। दरअसल, पीएम मोदी का वाइल्ड लाइफ से प्रेम किसी से छिपा नहीं है. वह जब भी प्रकृति के बीच जाते हैं तो उनके ही होकर रह जाते हैं।

दिल्ली के उप-राज्यपाल विनय कुमार सक्सेना, मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता और लोक निर्माण विभाग मंत्री प्रवेश वर्मा ने कल बारापुला, कुशाक और सुनहरी पुला डिपो के पास जल निकासी की स्थिति की समीक्षा की। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा नालों की साफ-सफाई उचित व्यवस्थ नहीं है, जिसके कारण जल निकासी की भी समस्या है। उन्होंने पिछली सरकारों पर आरोप लगाया कि नालों की सफाई को कभी गंभीरता से नहीं लिया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सुनिश्चित किया जाएगा कि दिल्ली के लोगों को भविष्य में जलभराव जैसी समस्याओं का सामना न करना पड़े।

The Japanese Consulate General in Bengaluru – Nakane has said that, learning the Japanese language can open doors for Indians to pursue higher studies and earn lucrative employment opportunities in Japan.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the Japan Film Festival, organised by the Global Languages Study Centre of Bengaluru City University and the Consulate General of Japan in Bengaluru. He informed that both India and Japan have vibrant cultural, economic and educational ties and this has created vast opportunities for the youth in India.
The Advisor to the Japanese External Affairs Ministry, Professor Ashok Kumar Chawla, who addressed the gathering through video conference, said that India has a talented pool of skilled and proficient human resources. He added that Japan, which faces a human resources crunch, has opened its door to professional human resources from India.

In Telangana, 22 out of the State’s 33 districts have recorded maximum temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius with the ongoing heatwave intensifying across the state.
According to the Telangana Development Planning Society data, Asifabad registered the highest temperature at 42.4 degrees Celsius during the past 24 hours.
State capital city – Hyderabad, also felt the impact of the rising mercury. Some places in the city and surrounding areas recorded a maximum temperature of 39.6 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow heatwave alert for several districts in the state.

ब्रिगेडियर राय सिंह यादव (अंग्रेज़ी: Brigadier Rai Singh Yadav, जन्म- 17 मार्च, 1925; मृत्यु- 23 मार्च, 2017) आज ही जयंती है ब्रिगेडियर राय सिंह यादव की जो सन 1967 में नाथू ला और चो ला संघर्ष में अपनी वीरता के लिये जाने जाते थे।
उन्होंने संघर्षों के दौरान अनुकरणीय साहस और नेतृत्व का प्रदर्शन किया, जिसके लिए उन्हें भारत के दूसरे सर्वोच्च सैन्य सम्मान ‘महावीर चक्र’ से सम्मानित किया गया था। राय सिंह यादव को नाथू ला के बाघ के रूप में भी जाना जाता है। 1967 में नाथू ला पोस्ट पर चीनी सैनिकों ने अचानक कब्ज़ा करने की कोशिश की । उस समय चंलेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल राय सिंह यादव जो एक टुकड़ी का नेतृत्व कर रहे थे, उन्होंने चीनियों को ललकारा। उनकी फौजी टुकड़ी चीनियों के सामने डट गयी। आमने-सामने की जंग शुरू हो गयी। कर्नल राय सिंह यादव के पेट में मशीन-गन का बर्स्ट लगा और वो गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गये, लेकिन इस जांबाज़ ने मोर्चा नहीं छोड़ा और दुश्मन सैनिकों को मार भगाया।इस मुक़ाबले में असाधारण वीरता और अदम्य सहस के लिए राव राय सिंह यादव को बहादुरी के दूसरे सबसे बड़े सम्मान ‘महावीर चक्र’ से नवाज़ा गया। भारतीय सेना के इस वीर सपूत को उनकी जयंती पर देश का सलाम।

आज ही जयंती है भारतीय अमरीकी अंतरिक्ष यात्री और अंतरिक्ष शटल मिशन Expert कल्पना चावला का । वे कोलंबिया अन्तरिक्ष यान में मारे गए सात यात्री दल सदस्यों में से एक थीं। कल्पना चावला का जन्म 17 मार्च, 1962 ई. को हरियाणा के करनाल क़स्बे में हुआ था। कल्पना चावला अंतरिक्ष में जाने वाली प्रथम भारतीय (बाद में उन्होंने अमेरिका की नागरिकता ले ली थी) महिला थीं।
कल्पना चावला ने 1982 में चंडीगढ़ से एरोनॉटिकल इंजीनियरिंग तथा 1984 में टेक्सास विश्वविद्यालय से एरोस्पेस इंजीनियरिंग की पढाई की । उन्होंने 1988 में कोलोरेडो विश्वविद्यालय से डॉक्टर ऑफ़ फ़िलॉसफ़ी की डिग्री प्राप्त की। इसी वर्ष कल्पना ने नासा के एम्स रिसर्च सेंटर में काम करना शुरू किया। 1994 में उनका चयन बतौर अंतरिक्ष-यात्री किया गया।
कल्पना की पहली अंतरिक्ष उड़ान एस. टी. एस.-87 कोलंबिया स्पेस शटल से संपन्न हुई तथा इसकी अवधि 19 नवंबर से 5 दिसंबर, 1997 थी। कल्पना की दूसरी और अंतिम उड़ान 16 जनवरी, 2003 को ‘कोलंबिया स्पेस शटल’ से ही शुरू हुई। यह 16 दिन का मिशन था। उन्होंने अपने सहयोगियों सहित लगभग 80 परीक्षण और प्रयोग किए।

कोलंबिया को रनवे पर लैंड करने में सिर्फ 12 मिनट का वक्त बचा था.
यही वो तारीख है जब कोलंबिया अपना अंतरिक्ष मिशन खत्म करने के बाद धरती पर लौट रहा था और दुर्घटना का शिकार हो गया था. इसमें सवार सभी सातों लोगों की मौत हो गई थी, जिसमें भारत की बेटी कल्पना चावला भी थीं

“Chawla was selected in honor of her prominent place in history as the first woman of Indian descent to go to space,” her journey has been part of textbooks which imprints the minds of children and adults alike and inspires to aim for the stars and will continue to do so for generations to come.
