In Telangana, the rescue operation at the SriSailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) Tunnel at Domalapenta in Nagarkurnool district gained further momentum with restoration of the conveyor belt. Officials announced that the restoration of the conveyor belt has enabled the removal of 800 tonnes of debris an hour.
Disaster Management Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar and Collector Badavath Santosh held a review meeting at the site, assessing the rescue operation at the SLBC project.
The Authorities said that excavation is underway in areas identified by ground-penetrating radar, with two escalators kept ready for assistance. The final components of the tunnel boring machine are set to be cut using a gas cutter and removed through a loco train. The water inside the tunnel is being pumped out. Meanwhile, the National Centre for Seismology’s team has also arrived at the site to assist in the rescue operation.

Chennai Passengers travelling from Southern districts to Chennai Egmore will face disruptions as several long distance trains will be halted at intermediate stations like Tambaram,Mambalam and Chengalpet. Work on the fourth line project between Chennai Beach and Egmore scheduled between March 5 and 9 will result in several trains being short terminated, partially cancelled, diverted or rescheduled. Express trains from Karaikudi, Mannargudi , Tirunelveli , Mandapam and Tuticorin will not reach Chennai Egmore as usual, forcing passengers to get down at Chengalpattu and Tambaram. Similarly, some trains from Hyderabad and Puducherry will also face short termination.

A national and globally represented expert core committee will identify the entries for the challenge. Those with prospects will receive investment funding of up to 50 lakh rupees and get assistance for the field trials of their ideas and technology. India is largely an agrarian economy contributing just 18.2 percent of GDP to the Indian economy.

महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने सोमवार को राज्य विधानसभा के बजट सत्र के पहले दिन छह हजार चार सौ छियासी करोड़ रुपये की अनुपूरक मांगें पेश कीं। वित्त विभाग की जिम्मेदारी संभाल रहे उपमुख्यमंत्री अजीत पवार ने पूरक मांगें पेश कीं, जिनमें ग्रामीण विकास विभाग के लिए लगभग तीन हजार करोड़ रुपये शामिल हैं। जबकि उद्योग, बिजली और श्रम विभाग के लिए एक हजार छह सौ अट्ठासी करोड़ रुपये मांगे गये हैं। पांच सौ नब्बे करोड़ रुपये नगर विकास विभाग और चार सौ बारह करोड़ रुपये उच्च एवं तकनीकी शिक्षा विभाग के लिए मांग की गई है।

महाराष्ट्र विधानमंडल के दोनों सदनों ने पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह को भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि दी। पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री का पिछले साल दिसंबर में निधन हो गया था। विधानसभा में अध्यक्ष राहुल नार्वेकर ने शोक प्रस्ताव पेश किया। वहीं परिषद में भी सभापति राम शिंदे ने यह प्रस्ताव पेश किया। अपनी सभा में, श्री नार्वेकर ने डॉ. सिंह को एक प्रसिद्ध अर्थशास्त्री के रूप में याद किया जिन्होंने आर्थिक उदारीकरण की शुरुआत की और विदेशी निवेश को बढ़ावा दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि जहां डॉ. सिंह की नीतियों ने भारत में व्यापार और उद्योग को नई दिशा दी, वहीं महात्मा गांधी राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण रोजगार गारंटी योजना, सूचना का अधिकार अधिनियम, शिक्षा का अधिकार अधिनियम और खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिनियम जैसी योजनाओं की शुरुआत के माध्यम से उनका लोगों से जुड़ाव मजबूत हुआ। बजट सत्र के पहले दिन दोनों सदनों ने अपने पूर्व सदस्यों को भी श्रद्धांजलि दी जिनका हाल ही में निधन हो गया है। उनकी स्मृति में दो मिनट का मौन रखा गया।

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has urged the Centre to immediately release long-pending dues of over 1468 crore rupees meant for the supply of rice to the Food Corporation of India during the 2014-15 Kharif season. He called on Union Minister for Food Pralhad Joshi in Delhi along with state civil supplies minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy. An official release stated that the Chief Minister brought to the attention of the Union Minister that the pending dues were related to the additional levy collection, which was borne by the state government and had remained pending for 10 years. He also requested Joshi to release the arrears of over 343 crore rupees for the supply of rice from May 2021 to March 2022 and in April 2022 under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana. The Chief Minister appealed to the Union Minister to release pending dues of over 79 crore rupees for rice distribution under non- National Food Security Act- NFSA from June 2021 to April 2022 and extend the CMR (custom milling rice) deadline for handing over rice to FCI by at least four months instead of one month to avoid hurdles in the supply.

Patharlagadda Nageswara Rao (5 May 1930 – 5 March 1996), popularly known as Pithapuram Nageswara Rao, was an Indian playback singer known for his contributions to Telugu cinema, particularly in comedic songs. He gained popularity in the 1950s and 1960s for his unique voice and his performances alongside Madhavapeddi Satyam, with whom he formed a renowned playback singing duo.

आज जन्मदिवस है-अभिनेता, पटकथा लेखक और फिल्म निर्देशक सौरभ शुक्ला का। उनका जन्म 5 मार्च 1963 को गोरखपुर , उत्तर प्रदेश में हुआ है। वे हिंदी, तमिल और तेलुगु फिल्मों में काम करते हैं। उन्हें सत्या (1998), नायक: द रियल हीरो (2001), युवा (2004), लगे रहो मुन्ना भाई (2006), बर्फी! (2012), जॉली एलएलबी (2013) में उनकी भूमिकाओं के लिए जाना जाता है। उन्होंने सर्वश्रेष्ठ सहायक अभिनेता का राष्ट्रीय फिल्म पुरस्कार जीता है। उनकी उल्लेखनीय फिल्में हैं किक (2014), पीके (2014), जॉली एलएलबी 2 (2017) और रेड (2018) आदि। उन्होंने गोवा में रूथ अग्निहोत्री और राचेल अग्निहोत्री के साथ एक लघु वृत्तचित्र में भी काम किया है।
