प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी इस महीने की 8 और 9 तारीख को रूस की आधिकारिक यात्रा पर रहेंगे। विदेश मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि श्री मोदी रूस के राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन के निमंत्रण पर, 22वें भारत-रूस वार्षिक शिखर सम्मेलन में भाग लेने के लिए मास्को जाएंगे। दोनों नेताओं का परस्पर हित के समसामयिक क्षेत्रीय और वैश्विक मुद्दों पर भी चर्चा का भी कार्यक्रम है।
इसके बाद प्रधानमंत्री मोदी इस महीने की 9 और 10 तारीख को ऑस्ट्रिया जाएंगे। पिछले 41 वर्षों में किसी भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री की ऑस्ट्रिया की यह पहली यात्रा होगी। श्री मोदी ऑस्ट्रिया के राष्ट्रपति अलेक्जेंडर वान डेर बेलेन से मुलाकात करेंगे। वे वहां के चांसलर कार्ल नेहम्मर के साथ भी बातचीत करेंगे। दोनों नेता भारत और ऑस्ट्रिया के व्यापार प्रमुखों को भी संबोधित करेंगे।

प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने ओलंपिक के लिए पेरिस जाने वाले भारतीय खिलाडियों के दल के साथ बातचीत की। सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट में श्री मोदी ने कहा कि वे आश्वस्त हैं कि एथलीट अपना श्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करके भारत को गौरवान्वित करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि खिलाडियों की जीवन यात्रा और सफलता एक सौ 40 करोड भारतीयों में आशा जगाती है।
Government will come up with a new Ship Building and Ship Repair Policy soon to make India top 10 countries in the sector by 2030 and top 5 by 2047. This was stated by Secretary in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, TK Ramachandran yesterday. He said, if tremendous demand stemming from the needs of the Indian shipping market are adequately targeted by Indian shipyards, it may result in an opportunity to the extent of over 20 lakh crore rupees by 2047. Mr Ramachandran chaired a workshop on the issue yesterday which was attended by more than 100 participants from 50 organisations including various government ministries, departments, shipping operators, and public sector as well as private shipyards.
केंद्र ने राष्ट्रीय हरित हाइड्रोजन मिशन के तहत मानकों और नियामक व्यवस्था के विकास के लिए परीक्षण सुविधाओं, बुनियादी ढांचे और संस्थागत समर्थन के वित्तपोषण के दिशानिर्देश जारी किए हैं। नवीन और नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि इस योजना को वित्त वर्ष 2025-26 तक कुल दो सौ करोड़ रुपये योजना खर्च के साथ शुरू किया जाएगा। मंत्रालय ने बताया है कि राष्ट्रीय सौर ऊर्जा संस्थान द्वारा लागू की जाने वाली इस योजना का सुरक्षित संचालन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए नई परीक्षण सुविधाओं के निर्माण और मौजूदा सुविधाओं का विकास किया जाएगा।
A special session of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly has been convened on Monday to seek vote of confidence for Hemant Soren government. The decision to this effect was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Before taking oath Chief Minister Hemant Soren had submitted a letter of support of 44 MLAs to Governor CP Radhakrishnan. Oath ceremony of ministers is likely to be held after winning vote of confidence in the assembly. New faces are likely to be included in cabinet.

Six persons, including four men and two women, have been arrested in connection with the Hathras stampede that resulted in 121 deaths. While interacting with media, Inspector General (IG) of Police (Aligarh Range) Shalabh Mathur said the six arrested people are members of the organising committee and worked as Sevadars. IG Mathur added that a One lakh rupee reward has been announced for information about the main accused Prakash Madhukar.

The three member judicial inquiry commission formed on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to investigate the Hathras stampede incident. The Commission is headed by Justice Brijesh Kumar Srivastav, retired judge of the Allahabad High Court and also include IAS officer Hemant Rao and retired IPS officer Bhavesh Kumar as its members.The commission will soon go to Hathras for investigation and inquiry of the incident. The commission will prepare an investigation report on five points within two months and the investigation report will be submitted to the government. After the meeting, Justice Srivastav, while talking to the media, said that they will soon visit Hathras. Justice Srivastava also mentioned that they have a shortage of time so they have to get to work at once.
असम में लगातार बारिश से बाढ़ की स्थिति और भी खराब हो गई है। 29 जिलों में 21 लाख से अधिक लोग बाढ़ से जूझ रहे हैं। राज्यपाल गुलाब चंद कटारिया ने बाढ़ प्रभावित मोरीगांव जिले का दौरा किया और लोगों से बातचीत की। राज्यपाल ने मौजूदा स्थिति का भी जायजा लिया और जिला प्रशासन को प्रभावित लोगों की आवश्यकतायें पूरा करने के लिए पर्याप्त व्यवस्था करने का निर्देश दिया। मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा ने भी स्थिति का जायजा लेने के लिए माजुली, धेमाजी और लखीमपुर का दौरा किया।

The Labour Party is projected to lead the UK under Keir Starmer with a landslide victory, while the Conservative Party was heading towards a devastating defeat, according to the exit poll by three major TV networks. The exit poll gave the Labour 410 seats, a stunning gain of 209 seats, in yesterday’s elections for the House of Commons, ending its 14 years in a political wilderness. Only 326 seats are needed for a majority in the 650-member House. The exit poll predicted the Conservative Party of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to win 131 seats, losing 241. The Liberal Democrats, a one-time ally of the Conservatives, came in next in the poll with 61, according to the exit poll.
मौसम विभाग ने पांच दिनों के लिए पश्चिम और पूर्वोत्तर भारत में बहुत तेज वर्षा का रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है। आज दक्षिण गुजरात में बहुत तेज वर्षा का अनुमान व्यक्त किया गया है। इसी प्रकार की स्थिति आज जम्मू संभाग, हिमाचल प्रदेश, उत्तराखण्ड, उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्यप्रदेश और बिहार में रहने की संभावना है। इस तरह का मौसम अगले दो से तीन दिनों तक बना रहेगा। मौसम विभाग ने बताया कि अगले दो से तीन दिनों के दौरान महाराष्ट्र और कर्नाटक के तटीय क्षेत्रों में बहुत तेज वर्षा होने की संभावना है।

शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2024-25 से कक्षा तीन और छह के लिए नई और आकर्षक पाठ्यपुस्तकें लाई जाएंगी। शिक्षा मंत्रालय ने बताया कि पाठ्यपुस्तकों की तैयारी का कार्य अंतिम चरण में है और कक्षा तीन और छह की नौ पाठ्यपुस्तकें पहले से ही उपलब्ध हैं। शेष आठ पुस्तकें बहुत जल्द उपलब्ध होंगी। केन्द्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेन्द्र प्रधान ने नई दिल्ली में विद्यालयी शिक्षा और साक्षरता सचिव, एन.सी.ई.आर.टी. के निदेशक और केन्द्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष के साथ राष्ट्रीय शैक्षिक अनुसंधान और प्रशिक्षण परिषद- एन.सी.ई.आर.टी. की पुस्तकों की तैयारी में हुई प्रगति की विस्तृत समीक्षा की। मंत्रालय ने बताया कि राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 का उद्देश्य बेहतर शिक्षण परिणामों के लिए सीखने की प्रक्रिया को आनंदायक और तनाव मुक्त बनाने के लिए सस्ती कीमत और उच्च गुणवत्ता की पाठ्य पुस्तकें प्रदान करना है।

Officials of the Bureau of Indian Standards Chennai conducted a raid at Hima Aqua Minerals, an authorised packaged drinking water bottling plant in Gummidipoondi. Acting on information of a suspected violation of BIS Act, 2016, officials seized a total stock of 8640 `PET Bottles, filled with water and labelled with spurious ISI marks. Approximately 10 thousand labels with fake ISI marks were also confiscated. The plant was found selling water under the brands hima and Super without a valid BIS license. G.Bhavani, head of Chennai Branch Office stated that action would be initiated against the offender with penalties including imprisonment of upto two years or a fine ranging from 2 lakh to ten times the value of goods.

The city police have informed Madras High Court that 51 thousand 414 cases have been booked till May 31 for operating vehicles with defective number plates . The total penalty collected was more than 2 Crores. Atleast 6279 cases have been booked for the use of unauthorised dark sun film alone and a fine amount fo Rs. 31 lakh 39 thousand was imposed.

Karnataka Health minister Dinesh Gundu Rao held a video conference with Zilla Panchayat CEOs and district health officials yesterday to review the preparations for dengue cases and Zika virus cases. He told officials to open fever clinics in places with high dengue positive cases. He also asked them to keep their eyes open for any Zika virus cases. The minister stressed that anyone with fever symptoms should be tested for dengue. He also emphasised on continuing the door to door dengue awareness activities for the next two weeks. In Bengaluru municipal corporation areas, have surveyed over 7.66 lakh homes and found 15,002 homes positive for dengue larvae. The Health minister said that one suspected Zika virus case in Shivamogga is yet to be confirmed awaiting test results.

And Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, along with Deputy Chief Minister M. Bhatti Vikramarka urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to sanction 25 lakh houses for the poor. He presented representation on 12 issues and urged the centre to sanction them. During his hour-long meeting held yesterday, he requested the Prime Minister to exempt the Shravanapalli coal block from the auction list and its allocation along with Koyagudem and Sattupalli Block 3, to Singareni Collieries Limited, a PSU of the Centre and State. Emphasising the need to boost IT infrastructure, Mr Reddy sought the revival of IT Investment Region in Hyderabad to encourage the growth of IT companies and developers. The project, initially approved in 2010, has been stalled since 2014. He sought allocation of 2,450 acres of defence land to the state for infrastructure projects, including elevated corridors on the Hyderabad-Karimnagar and Hyderabad-Nagpur highways (NH-44). He offered alternative land in Raviryal in exchange.

दिल्ली सरकार के पर्यटन विभाग ने नेशनल स्कूल आफ ड्रामा के साथ मिलकर छोटे बच्चों के लिए दस दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया। इस कार्यशाला में लगभग 175 बच्चों ने भाग लिया, जिनमें कुछ बच्चे सुधार गृह से भी शामिल हुये थे। इस 10 दिवसीय कार्यशाला के समापन के अवसर पर आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में सभी बच्चों ने अपनी कलाओं का प्रदर्शन किया।
इस अवसर पर दिल्ली सरकार के पर्यटन विभाग के मंत्री सौरभ भारद्वाज ने बच्चों को पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया। श्री भारद्वाज ने कहा की दस दिनों की इस वर्कशॉप में इन छोटे बच्चों ने नेशनल स्कूल आफ ड्रामा से बहुत कुछ सीखा है। उन्होंने कहा कि आज के समय में यह बेहद जरूरी है, कि हमारा समाज कला, संस्कृति और ड्रामा आदि से जुडा रहे।

नई दिल्ली नगरपालिका परिषद, एनडीएमसी ने सफाई अपनाओ-बीमारी भगाओ अभियान के तहत कनॉट प्लेस स्थित हनुमान मंदिर में कल नागरिक जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया। इस अभियान के तहत मानसून के दौरान वेक्टर जनित बीमारियों की रोकथाम पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया। एनडीएमसी के कर्मचारियों ने लोगों को वेक्टर जनित बीमारियों से बचने कि लिये जागरुक किया। इस अभियान का उद्देश्य शहरी स्थानीय निकायों की तैयारियों को बढ़ाना है, ताकि बारिश के कारण होनेवाली स्वास्थ्य जोखिमों को कम किया जा सके। यह अभियान अगले महीने की 31 तारिख तक चलेगा।

दिल्ली-गाजियाबाद-मेरठ आरआरटीएस कॉरिडोर पर यात्रियों के लिए परिवहन सुविधा को और भी बेहतर बनाने के लिए जल्द ही फीडर बस, कैब, ऑटो रिक्शा के साथ रेंटल दुपहिया वाहन और साइकिल सेवाएं भी उपलब्ध होंगी। एनसीआरटीसी की तरफ से यह व्यवस्था दिल्ली से लेकर मेरठ तक के सभी 25 स्टेशनों के लिए की जाएगी। यात्रियों को स्टेशनों पर रेंटल दुपहिया वाहन और रेंटल साइकिल की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराने के लिए भी प्रयास जारी हैं।

महाराष्ट्र में आगामी विधानसभा चुनावों से पहले निर्वाचन आयोग ने विशेष सारांश संशोधन 2024 की घोषणा की है। इसके अंतर्गत आयोग विशाल आवासीय समितियों में मतदान केन्द्र बनाने पर ध्यान दे रहा है।
चुनाव आयोग मतदाता सूचियों को अद्यतन करने के लिए सहकारी आवासीय समितियों के अध्य़क्षों और सचिवों को मतदान केंद्र स्तर पर स्वयंसेवक नियुक्त करेगा। इन स्वयंसेवकों को समितियों में रहनेवाले मतदान के पात्र लोगों के नाम मतदाता सूचियों में जोड़ने और वहां से कहीं और जा चुके लोगों या मृत मतदाताओं के नाम सूची से हटाने का काम सौंपा जाएगा। आवासीय समिति में मतदान केंद्र बनवाने के लिए समितियों को अपने नजदीकी बूथ लेवल अधिकारी से सम्पर्क करना होगा। इसके लिए समितियां निर्वाचन आयोग की वेबसाइट पर गूगल फॉर्म भरकर ऑनलाइन आवेदन भी कर सकती हैं।

शेयर बाजारों में उछाल के बीच मुख्य न्यायाधीश डी.वाई. चन्द्रचूड ने कहा है कि नियामक प्राधिकरण के लिए यह सुनिश्चित करना महत्वपूर्ण है कि इस बढत के बीच सभी का संतुलन और घबराहट पर नियंत्रण बना रहे।
मुंबई में प्रतिभूति अपीलीय न्यायाधिकरण के नये कार्यालय का उद्घाटन करने के बाद अपने संबोधन में श्री चन्द्रचूड ने आशा जताई कि भारतीय प्रतिभूति एवं विनिमय बोर्ड और प्रतिभूति अपीलीय न्यायाधिकरण सावधानी बरतते हुए सफलताओं का जश्न मनाएंगे। उन्होंने अर्थव्यवस्था को स्थिर रखने के लिए ऐसी और अधिक न्यायाधिकरण पीठों का न केवल पक्ष लिया, बल्कि लेन-देन की अधिक मात्रा और नए नियमों के कारण उच्च कार्यभार का प्रबंधन करने के लिए भी इन पीठों की वकालत की।
उन्होंने कहा कि निवेशक उस बाजार को महत्व देते हैं, जहां उनका निवेश सुरक्षित होने के साथ उनके पास विवाद समाधान के लिए प्रभावी तंत्र होता है।

कलकत्ता उच्च न्यायालय ने आदेश दिया है कि कोलकाता में रवीन्द्र सरोवर जल तालाब के पास किसी भी क्रिकेट खेलने और कोचिंग की अनुमति नहीं है। मुख्य न्यायाधीश टीएस शिवज्ञानम और न्यायमूर्ति हिरण्मय भट्टाचार्य की खंडपीठ ने एक जनहित याचिका मामले में राज्य सरकार को अपना हलफनामा पेश करने का आदेश दिया है। पर्यावरण एनजीओ सबुज मंच ने कोलकाता मेट्रोपॉलिटन डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी केएमडीए द्वारा रवीन्द्र सरोवर के मैदान के पास एक निजी क्रिकेट कोचिंग एजेंसी को 98 कोट्ठा जमीन पट्टे पर देने के आलोक में अदालत में अपील की थी। अगली सुनवाई 25 जुलाई को होगी।

Considered one of India’s most successful sportspersons, Sindhu has won medals at various tournaments such as the Olympics and on the BWF circuit, including a gold at the 2019 World Championships. She is the first and only Indian to become the badminton world champion and only the second individual athlete from India to win two consecutive medals at the Olympic Games.She rose to a career-high world ranking of no. 2 in April 2017. Sindhu broke into the top 20 of the BWF World Rankings in September 2012, at the age of 17.
She has won a total of five medals at the BWF World Championships and is only the second woman after China’s Zhang Ning ever to win five or more singles medals in the competition. She represented India at the 2016 Summer Olympics (Rio), where she became the first Indian badminton player to reach the Olympic final. She won the silver medal after losing out to Spain’s Carolina Marín. She made her second consecutive Olympic appearance at the 2020 Summer Olympics (Tokyo) and won a bronze medal, becoming the first-ever Indian woman to win two Olympic medals. Sindhu won her first superseries title at the 2016 China Open and followed it up with four more finals in 2017, winning the titles in South Korea and India. She also won the 2018 BWF World Tour Finals and remains the only Indian player to win a season finale title. In addition to that, she is the reigning Commonwealth Games champion and has won three consecutive singles medals at the Commonwealth Games, a silver medal at the Asian Games, and two bronze medals at the Uber Cup. Sindhu made the Forbes’ list of Highest-Paid Female Athletes in 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023. She is a recipient of the sports honours Arjuna Award and Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, as well as India’s fourth-highest civilian award, the Padma Shri, and third-highest civilian award, the Padma Bhushan.

सचिन नाग (अंग्रेज़ी: Sachin Nag, जन्म- 5 जुलाई, 1920, बनारस; मृत्यु- 19 अगस्त, 1987, कोलकाता) प्रसिद्ध भारतीय तैराक थे। नई दिल्ली में 1951 के पहले एशियाई खेलों में सचिन नाग ने जब तैराकी में 100 मीटर फ्रीस्टाइल का स्वर्ण पदक जीता तो खुद तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री जवाहरलाल नेहरू ने उनके गले में स्वर्ण हार डाला था। एशियाई खेलों में किसी भारतीय तैराक को इसके बाद आज तक स्वर्ण पदक हासिल करने का गौरव हासिल नहीं हुआ।

बीरेन्द्रनाथ सरकार (अंग्रेज़ी: Birendranath Sarkar or Birendranath Sircar, जन्म- 5 जुलाई, 1901; मृत्यु- 28 नवंबर, 1980) प्रसिद्ध भारतीय फ़िल्म निर्माता और ‘न्यू थियेटर्स, कलकत्ता’ के संस्थापक थे। तीस के दशक के प्रारम्भिक वर्षों में ही उन्होंने ‘इंटरनेशनल फ़िल्म क्राफ़्ट’ नाम की एक प्रोडक्शन कम्पनी की शुरुआत की थी। इस कम्पनी के बैनर तले बी. एन. सरकार ने प्रारम्भ में दो मूक फ़िल्मों का निर्माण किया था। कला के क्षेत्र में बी. एन. सरकार के योगदान को देखते हुए भारत सरकार द्वारा उन्हें सन 1972 में ‘पद्मभूषण’ से सम्मानित किया गया था। वे दूसरे व्यक्ति थे, जिन्हें ‘दादा साहब फाल्के पुरस्कार’ (1970) दिया गया। भारतीय सिनेमा के विकास में उनके जैसे महान् व्यक्ति और मजबूत नींव डालने वाले निर्माता का बहुत बड़ा योगदान है। उनके द्वारा दिये गए योगदान को भारतीय सिनेमा कभी विस्मृत नहीं कर पायेगा।बी. एन. सरकार द्वारा निर्मित कुछ फ़िल्में हैं-
