A team of CBI yesterday reached Oasis School in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand to investigate the NEET paper leak case. The CBI sleuths interrogated, the Principal of the school about various aspects related to paper leak. After interrogating CBI took the Principal with them for further questioning. The Principal was city coordinator of schools of Hazaribagh for NEET examination. The CBI team also quizzed officials of SBI Hazaribagh where question papers were stored.
The Economic Offence Unit ( EOU) of Bihar had earlier said that a partially burnt question paper seized from the Khemnichak play school in Patna, matched with the question paper received from the National Testing Agency (NTA), and the series of that question paper had been sent to the examination centre at the Oasis School in Kallu Chowk, Hazaribagh.

Defence Research and Development Organisation, DRDO handed over the Medium Range-Microwave Obscurant Chaff Rocket (MR-MOCR) to the Indian Navy at a ceremony held in New Delhi yesterday. Microwave Obscurant Chaff is a niche technology developed by DRDO’s Defence Laboratory in Jodhpur. It obscures radar signals and creates a microwave shield around platforms and assets, and reduced radar detection. Special type of fibres have been assembled in the medium range chaff rocket. The rocket forms microwave obscurant cloud in space when fired, spreading over a sufficient area.

दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने कल मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल को तीन दिन की सीबीआई हिरासत में भेज दिया। गिरफ्तारी से कुछ घंटे पहले ही धनशोधन से जुड़े एक मामले में सीबीआई ने उन्हें गिरफ्तार किया था। इससे पहले सीबीआई ने केजरीवाल को औपचारिक रूप से गिरफ्तार किया और दिल्ली की राउज एवेन्यू अदालत में पेश किया। एक संबंधित घटनाक्रम में श्री केजरीवाल ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में दायर अपनी वह अर्जी वापस ले ली जिसमें उन्होंने दिल्ली की शराब नीति से जुडे धनशोधन मामले में जमानत पर अंतरिम रोक लगाने के दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय के आदेश को चुनौती दी थी।

Spectrum auction held to meet new spectrum requirement of Telecom Service Providers and for renewal of expiring licenses for continuity and growth of mobile services has concluded successfully. Ministry of Communications said all the available spectrum were put to auction. This year auction has seen activity in 900MHz, 1800MHz, 2100MHz and 2500 MHz bands.
Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia in a statement said, Spectrum auction 2024 was part of a continuous allocation process that is transparent, robust and progressive.

The total funds raised by Rocketlane stands 45 million dollars and the start up with operations based out of Chennai and California aims to use the funds for artificial intelligence roadmap to build AI based products and capabilities in client project delivery. Trekking enthusiasts can book online from 40 different trekking routes in Tamilnadu. The State Forest Department will launch as dedcated atlas providing detailed profiles of each route. State Forest Minister M.Mathiventhan said that basic infrastructure will be developed on these trails to aid trekkers. The existing trekking trails have been reworked with the support of the local community and will be jointly operated by them alongwith the forest department.

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike will begin door to door survey to locate mosquito breeding spots in the city to prevent spread of Dengue. Between January and June this year there were 1230 cases of dengue reported in the city. The Chief Commissioner Tushar Girinath informed media persons that Health officers, ASHA workers, ANMs and Link Workers will visit houses to look for stagnant water where the mosquitoes have laid their larvae.
The team will also educate the public about clearing stagnant water to prevent spread of dengue and also refer patients suffering from dengue to the hospitals. Tushar Girinath said that due to sporadic rain in the city the mosquitoes have increased considerably. He informed that the dengue cases are increasing in the city and those experiencing fever at frequent intervals should get NS1 test done. He further added that there are 28 lakh houses in the municipal corporation area. Out of them 14 lakh houses are in densely populated areas and belong to the poor families. Hence the teams will first focus on these localities, especially those in low lying areas to clear any water logging and destroy larvaes.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has urged the Centre to declare the southern stretch of Regional Ring Road as national highway and take up works for expanding the Hyderabad-Vijayawada national highway into six lanes. The Chief Minister called on Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi yesterday and discussed expansion of national highways in Telangana. He also requested the minister to declare new national highways to the state and briefed the progress of works on roads taken up as national highways.
An official release stated that the Chief Minister requested the centre to declare Choutuppal connecting Amangal, Shadnagar and Sangareddy as National Highway as the state is bearing the cost of development of national Highway from Sangareddy to Choutuppal, a stretch of over 158 km, as it was already declared as NH. The Chief Minister also urged the centre to declare the southern stretch of Regional Ring Road as national highway and sanction funds for the works under NHAI’s budget for the current financial year.

The junior doctors in Telangana called off their three-day strike after the state government issuing an order, allocating over 200 crore rupees to the Directorate of Medical Education for civil works at three major colleges in the state. They held day-long discussions with Health Department officials and Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narasimha regarding their demands including hostel buildings at Gandhi Medical College, Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad and Kakatiya Medical College at Warangal. The Junior Doctors declared their decision to call off strike at a press conference held with the Minister in Hyderabad. The Health Minister said the department had issued an order sanctioning 406 crore rupees to DME for the current financial year to ensure that there were no delays in stipends. He also mentioned that the GO on civil works had been issued and the tender process would commence soon. He further stated that the issue of the new Osmania General Hospital building is pending in Telangana High Court.

भारतीय जनता पार्टी के वयोवृद्ध नेता लाल कृष्ण आडवाणी को दिल्ली के अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान-एम्स में भर्ती कराया गया है। बढ़ती उम्र संबंधी स्वास्थ्य समस्या के कारण उन्हें एम्स में भर्ती कराया गया है। 96 वर्षीय श्री आडवाणी को एम्स के जराचिकित्सा विभाग में डॉक्टरों की निगरानी में रखा गया है। एम्स के एक अधिकारी ने बताया कि श्री आडवाणी की हालत स्थिर है और उनके स्वास्थ्य की निगरानी की जा रही है।

दिल्ली भाजपा अध्यक्ष वीरेंद्र सचदेवा ने कल कहा कि अरविंद केजरीवाल को केन्द्रीय अन्वेषण ब्यूरो-सीबीआई द्वारा गिरफ्तार किया जाना दिल्लीवासियों के लिए कोई आश्चर्य की बात नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा कि श्री केजरीवाल को जिस मामले में गिरफ्तार किया गया है, उसे कांग्रेस पार्टी के नेताओं ने 2022 में दायर किया था। श्री सचदेवा ने कहा कि सीबीआई के पास पहले से ही एक अलग मूल मामला था, जिसमें केजरीवाल को पहले भी सीबीआई कार्यालय बुलाया गया था और मनीष सिसोदिया पहले से ही इस मामले में गिरफ्तार हैं। दिल्ली भाजपा अध्यक्ष ने कहा है कि जिस तरह कल शाम से “आप” नेता उच्च न्यायालय के फैसले के खिलाफ बयानबाजी कर रहे हैं वह उनके लोकतंत्र में न्यायपालिका के प्रति विश्वास की कमी को दर्शाता है।

यात्रियों की सुविधा और अतिरिक्त भीडभाड को कम करने के उद्देश्य से उत्तर रेलवे विभिन्न स्थानों के लिए ग्रीष्मकालीन ट्रेने चलाने का निर्णय लिया हैं। उत्तर रेलवे ने डॉ. अंबेडकर नगर से श्रीमाता वेष्णों देवी कटरा तक के लिए इस महीने की 29 तारीख से लेकर दोनों तरफ के लिए अगले महीने की 11 तारीख तक विशेष ट्रेन चलायेगी। डा. अंबेडकर नगर से श्रीमाता वेष्णों देवी कटरा के लिए 29 जून को सुबह साढे दस बजे रवाना होगी जो अगले दिन दोपहर दो बज कर 50 मिनट पर कटरा पहुचेगी। यह ट्रेन सोमवार, बुधवार और शनिवार को डा. अंबेडकर नगर से श्री माता वेष्णों देवी कटरा के लिए चलेगी। यह ट्रेन वापसी में 30 जून को कटरा से रात 10 बजकर 10 मिनट पर रवाना होकर अगले दिन रात 11 बजकर 50 मिनट पर डॉ. अंबेडकर नगर पहुंचेगी। कटरा से डां अंबेडकर के लिए यह ट्रेन मंगलवार, गुरूवार और रविवार को चलेगी।

महाराष्ट्र विधानमंडल का मानसून सत्र आज से मुंबई में शुरू होगा। महाराष्ट्र में अक्टूबर में चुनाव होने हैं, ऐसे में यह विधानसभा का अंतिम सत्र होगा। सत्र 13 जुलाई तक चलेगा जहां अन्य महत्वपूर्ण कामकाज के अलावा महायुति सरकार राज्य का बजट भी पेश करेगी। सार्वजनिक अवकाश होने के बावजूद शनिवार, 29 जून को भी सदन बैठेगा। सत्र के हंगामेदार रहने की उम्मीद है क्योंकि हाल ही में आम चुनावों में मिली जीत के बाद विपक्ष और अधिक साहसी हो गया है और किसानों, बेरोजगारी, पेपर लीक, बिगड़ती कानून व्यवस्था और मराठा आरक्षण समेत अन्य मुद्दों पर सरकार से सवाल पूछ सकता है। दूसरी ओर, सरकार ने कहा है कि वह सभी मुद्दों पर बहस और चर्चा के लिए तैयार है।

और अब समय है कुछ प्रमुख व्यक्तियों की पुण्यतिथियों, जयंतियों और जन्मदिन के बारे में जानकारी देने का।
रणजीत सिंह (अंग्रेज़ी: Ranjit Singh, जन्म: 13 नवम्बर, 1780, गुजरांवाला; मृत्यु: 27 जून, 1839, लाहौर) सिक्ख साम्राज्य के सर्वाधिक प्रसिद्ध राजा थे। वे “शेर-ए पंजाब” के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हैं। महाराजा रणजीत सिंह ऐसे व्यक्ति थे, जिन्होंने न केवल पंजाब को एक सशक्त सूबे के रूप में एकजुट रखा, बल्कि अपने जीवित रहते हुए अंग्रेज़ों को अपने साम्राज्य के पास भी नहीं फटकने दिया। 12 अप्रैल, सन 1801 को रणजीत सिंह ने महाराजा की उपाधि ग्रहण की थी। गुरु नानक के एक वंशज ने उनकी ताजपोशी संपन्न कराई थी। उन्होंने लाहौर को अपनी राजधानी बनाया और 1802 में अमृतसर की ओर रुख़किया।

Field Marshal Sam Hormusji Framji Jamshedji Manekshaw MC, also known as Sam Bahadur (“Sam the Brave”), was the chief of the army staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, and the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal. His active military career spanned four decades, beginning with service in World War II.
Manekshaw joined the first intake of the Indian Military Academy at Dehradun in 1932. He was commissioned into the 4th Battalion, 12th Frontier Force Regiment. In World War II, he was awarded the Military Cross for gallantry. Following the Partition of India in 1947, he was reassigned to the 8th Gorkha Rifles. Manekshaw was seconded to a planning role during the 1947 Indo-Pakistani War and the Hyderabad crisis, and as a result, he never commanded an infantry battalion. He was promoted to the rank of brigadier while serving at the Military Operations Directorate. He became the commander of 167 Infantry Brigade in 1952 and served in this position until 1954 when he took over as the director of military training at Army Headquarters.
After completing the higher command course at the Imperial Defence College, he was appointed the general officer commanding of the 26th Infantry Division. He also served as the commandant of the Defence Services Staff College. In 1962, he was accused in a politically motivated treason trial, he was eventually found innocent but thus could not serve in the 1962 war. In 1963, Manekshaw was promoted to the rank of army commander and took over Western Command, then was transferred in 1964 to Eastern Command. In this role, in 1967, he presided over the first Indian victory against a Chinese offensive during the Nathu La and Cho La clashes.
Manekshaw was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the third highest Indian civilian award, in 1968 for responding to the insurgencies in Nagaland and Mizoram.
